- Well I was very excited to pick up this Vulcan so much that I planned in riding the bike home can’t believe the engine is knocking soooo loud very happy I walked away from that deal.

Most of my bikes sit for over a year at a time and still start rite up with no problem 🤷🏽
Sitting for two weeks does nothing lol
But a few mins b4 said he drove it up till a week and a half ago. But later said it was in first gear kuz she moved it this morning 🤔 very fishy lady lads 🤣

Good job man. When you started that bike I immediately started saying to myself, walk away dude. I was happy to know you had passed on it. I flip bikes but they’re nicer when I sell them than when I get them. My main tool is honesty. Glad for you man. Much respect.

Yes, exactly. That engine could fly apart going down the highway. The guy could get killed on it. Those people are just trying to shove some deathtrap off to somebody else.
You can hear that sucker knocking away. She knew it was a blown engine and just hoped whoever showed up to get it would be clueless, probably hoping for some young kid still in high school or something. It's dirty the way people do stuff like this.

#1 alarm bell, being sold by a person who claims not to know much about the bike.... She was just the better liar on the two of them. Handled yourself so well by just walking away even though you knew that she knew that the motor was crapola and she was looking to unload it.

If she said it sat for like a year, I might believer a lot of those old Kawasaki’s have hydraulic lifters, and if they sit for a long time, they can sometimes take a few minutes for the lifters to pump back up

A wise decision to pass on the sale my man 👍, I love when sellers post the best photos taken years ago instead of using recent ones which probably would have most buyers saying "nope" next one, I'd have passed on that zero turn mower sitting out in the yard also if it was for sale by the looks of it too, so many dumb people nowadays stuffing their garages with stupid junk and letting their motor equipment investments sit out in the weather to rot.😂

Back when I was a kid I saw my father sell a car. When the guy went to the bank to get the cash. He changed the tires for worse ones said he forgot to do it before he showed it.This immediately put a bad taste in my mouth. I don't believe in cheating people. 😊

Smart move walking away from it. Too many people fall in love at first sight and will talk themselves into overlooking serious problems. I've done it myself when I was younger. It's almost like you feel invested in it and can't walk away when you haven't even paid a penny yet. At least your little girl had a great day so it wasn't a bad day.

Thanks and I agree with you it's as if people feel obligated to still buy the item/vehicle people must learn to walk away and don't care what the seller thinks like you said they havent even paid a penny yet.
this is something i need to learn how to do, just bought a mower that "had no issues". got it home, wouldn't idle right and then the trans axel blew up with in the first mow. i new it wasn't what the claimed to be but i wasn't confident enough to walk away from it. its some kind of weird need to "please people" i guess.

Smart decision, and I’ll tell you from experience that gas tank being of center is because the frame is bent or the horn, probably why it was repainted. I’ve personally seen more than 5 Vulcans the exact same way

I remember taking my little boy on his first fairground ride when he was two. It was a horse carousel and they had a photographer there who took a photo of us. It's one of my favourite photos and the wonder on his face is priceless.❤
