I’m 64 years old, and I love this band. It’s awesome to hear young musicians who are making music on their own terms. It was tempting but unfair of the public to initially label them as Zeppelin imitators. I’m elated that this new album further proves their abilities as players and songwriters. They’re not a flash-in-the-pan. After many years of crappy mainstream music, we have a great band whose music we can look forward to hearing. Thanks to these young artists for the music!!!

I was born in '81. My favorite band ever is Van Halen. I was so fortunate that my parents listened to anything from Zepplin, Styx, AC/DC, Kiss, Sabbath, basically all the 70s and 80s stuff. Even some late 60s rock. From there I got into Metallica and all the big 80s metal bands and so on. Because of them, I love all the classic 60s, 70s, rock. It really is the best rock ever made. Eddie Van Halen stole my heart though. Greatest guitar player ever to me!

    [Verse 1]
As to the drifters of the high rift plains
They can see the ashes, and the acid rain
It turns to dust before my very eyes
And it chokes to death within the smog it lies
    [Chorus]
Take one look at your skies
    And in the darkness realize
Kill fear, the power of lies
For we will not be hypnotized
    [Verse 2]
Turn back the clock within your glass of sand
To a time of love within this blackened land
A silent child climbs a mound of char
Where he plants a seed that grows beyond the stars
    [Chorus]

1:40 Something about that little ‘tck,’ the first chord on the riff, just gets me. It’s so simple but it sounds incredible, and gives that little extra kick to the bridge itself. I don’t even know what goes into making that sound on the guitar, what string you might have to pull or what chord you play. But either way just that little adjusted sound gives a whole other energy to the riff itself. It’s kind of incredible how one little half second noise can have such an impact.

This song still have hints of Zep, but that isn't bad at all. These guys are still evolving as musicians, they are still very young. Expect great things to come.

This track is like another breath of fresh air! I can't wait to receive my new CD album. I'm 66 years old and still enjoying rock music like this. I was actually a fan of Led Zeppelin in January 1969 after hearing "How Many More Times?" on the radio which the month after I purchased The Beatles "White Album" in December 1968. GVF invokes those old times for me as well as pointing to a bright new future. Thank you Greta Van Fleet for bringing joy with your musical talents.

I just recently turned 50 and feel like I'm back in the 70s and the 80s listening to these guys. Terrific young rock band. I know many say they sound like Led Zeppelin but I would say they also have a Rush like sound as well.
I hope they continue but also continue to become great musically and perfect their craft. They still sound to me a little garage band. But they are just very very refreshing.

They remind me of so many bands out of my parents time, classic earned stars! You can just get "flowed" away...its awesome! Thanks!

What a powerful track. I am getting some Yes vibes with this. Now I will have to go listen to Roundabout after I finish listening to this awesome album. My CD copy was just delivered and will be in heavy rotation for quite some time. The artwork is stunning as well. Bravissimi, ragazzi. If you have Greta gear, wear it today.
