  • A review of Glarry musics GST3 Sunset Electric Guitar, An S type guitar with a great sunburst finish, 3 single coil ceramic pickups, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Is it worth spending the time and money on it? At £60 its hard to beat for sure.

    Garry and Larry came together and started a company. "Let's sell shite." Said Larry and Garry agreed. And Glarry was born.

    Nice guitar for the money.. I have ordered the trans green ST. No problems with my Glarry bass guitars.

    The stuff coming out of China these days is of surprisingly decent, or at least work-able, quality! Times have definitely changed from when I started playing in 1978! Budget guitars back then were finger destroyers!

    Hey dude! Long time! Those Glarry guitars are pretty good & with some tuners & a good setup, they are quite stunning for the money 💵!! Buddy Holly would approve!

    Nice, any idea what the neck radius on the fretboard is? Would love to find something like this with a 9.5-ish fretboard. I can't deal with the super flat ones.

      Its a flat 12" mate, more like a Les Paul. You can always find a cheap neck on Ebay though ;0)

    Hi, from Phoenix, Arizona. Great video review. I just got one in white/black pickguard and I agree that the pickups sound really good. It's a very lightweight guitar which I like. The fret edges were all smooth. I have had Squier guitars with rough edges but not this Glarry. Mine had a flaw where the neck was joined to the body/not cut quite right but overall great value for the money. Enjoyed your review.

    60 dollar guitar needs to have only 2 things. It needs to play well enough to not get into your way. Secondly, it needs to look decent enough for a beginner to want to pick it up. Anything else is just extra. This seems to do just that. I got personal experience with Harley Benton guitars as well and I can vouch for those. I own multiple hb products. 2 of the cheapest ST guitars (79€), a bass (around 150€) and the SC custom FR VB (291€). All of them have been good. Only one of the ST models needed to be adjusted (sharp fret ends, loose screws, action high).

    Is that fret buzz Im hearing or your mike picking up the strings?

    • @GetawaysandGuitars
      @GetawaysandGuitars  4 года назад

      Just the mike, play it hard and it'll have some fret buzz like any guitar.

    Throw away the tuners,bridge and pickups ,and you might have a nice guitar,I hate to tell you,the pickups sound like crap,but still it's nice looking

      I really need to look into direct recording on to the PC as they sound so much better before my cam mike and RUclips destroy the sound!!
