Artist Trick... Use your dark colors last. You did the Black first but look at it like this. If you do Black First and slip into where the purple is you cant fix it but if you get the purple in the black area you can still make the black area black
I would love to see you do another chainmail project! I was challenged by a friend to make some... after watching your video I had enough knowledge to make a mail shirt out of wire coat hanger! My Challenge for you is to make chainmail jewelry... bracelet/necklace or something cool. I think this would be a very simple / quick video that could level up your chainmail and jewelry skill!!
I use a granite floor tile for stamping. I got some for free from a person who had leftovers from a remodel. They are small enoch to stow away when not in use but nice and solid without being really heavy
I have to say that is a sick build! I would only suggest one of the bridges be set at an angle to allow it to stay in tune with less tension. I idea of making a drum would be a nice video, can’t wait to see it. Try using FISH leather or calf skin leather, the thinner leather works for drum heads much better. OH Check you MIC! :)
Oh man! That bridge trick would've been so smart! Next time. I will have to look into finding fish leather. I also need to find some kangaroo leather 🤔
You should look into becoming an affiliate of Amazon! I would absolutely LOVE having lists of what instruments to buy if I wanted to re-create these! 😁 If you have an affiliate link, you can have sharable lists for woodworking tools, leather tools, etc. of something that you'd recommend. This also provides more $$$ to help the channel if people use those links to buy these items! Amazon is so vast these days that you can practically order anything LOL Having to pause the RUclips video to look these things up to buy was kind of a bother so I'd totally use the link
A tip for you on the edging. Do that last. If you dye your purple on there first, then put a resist around the edges that you don't want the dye to run. If not it could wick into the areas you don't want it to wick into.
On the purple dye, that greenish tinge is called "bronzing" The nonpro dyes are super bad about that. If you happen to do that, lightly dampen a CLEAN rag with 90% alcohol and wipe away. Don't do it with a rag with dye on it because the alcohol will reactivate the dye. I have done this recently with a job that needed purple dye and as much as I love purple the dye is SUPER tricky to work with (for me).
Yet another fantastic build. Great job on making the instument. Hint on the marble slab. Check out granite/marble countertop instalers. The usually have cutouts from sinks layong around. Also monument companies. Waste from cutting gravestones. Creepy, but cheap.
Got my cleric ready to go with my group. Just looking for some ideas. Also why not try doing something along the lines of pirate themed items? A sick looking cutlass and sheath with belt to match. Anyway can't wait for the next vid. Great job and keep em coming.
I love how you made it an instrument of bardic knowledge. I have recently started watching your stuff and have loved all of the different projects and it has helped me level up some of my skills. I cant wait for Wizard.
@@SkillTree I was thinking that maybe the central circle area could be surrounded by a fireball, or perhaps the overall color scheme could match the wizard hat you made.
Great video! I love the Bard book. But that song of little teapot gives me the creep tho, because it reminds me of that same song sung by the Linoge from Storm of the Century.
Awsome. You created the perfect stuff for me... I like to reading and also i'm a plucked instrument player(guitar) musician... I have to do that for myself... :) Only a tipp for next. Saman or pagan leather drum or wooden overtone or wooden kaval with rune signsxd You are talented, dude:)
I think I know what went wrong with your dye job. You probably used regular fiebings dye, which requires you to be careful as the dye will sit on the top of your leather, leaving an oil slick look like you said. Try out fiebings pro dye, it is sooo much better and removes the problems you were having, also, very little rub off, so win-win! Hope this helps!
'Jerk' is too tame a word for Acererak XD But the book came out lovely so that's one less Divine Smite to the face he's going to get for being photogenic.
Emperor Nero: Bring me a small lyre. Officer: A small liar, small liar Liar: I didn't do it! I didn't do it! I wasn't even there! I was at a friend's house! The check is in the mail! Emperor Nero: Not that kind of liar! Take him out! Officer: What? Emperor Nero: Get him outta here! Officer: Oh. Get him out! Take him out!
I don’t have to finish watching this to give it a thumbs up! My son plays a bard. I know what he is going to get for Christmas from me.😀👍
Such a cool gift! Bard is a severely underrated class. One of my favorites😁

Huh.... I feel dumb for not having considered that at all 😅.
Book Harp = “Barp”. The Bard played upon his Barp!
this channel is an undiscovered gem on youtube, good stuff keep leveling up!
I am absolutely in love with your tea pot song!!! It was such an adorable human moment 😄
That’s one Bard-ass tome of the bard🤘😎🤘
Happy veloceraptor screech! I've played a lot of bards and that is glorious

Dude this is totally a spell book for a bard/wizard multi class! So awesome!
Glad you liked it! Such a fun build!

Looking foreward to the Ranger one!!!
It was an epic teapot, well done.
Thats amazing!! I cant wait to see the rouge cover
So many lock picks and hidden knives 🤣
*Rogue is your thieving villain. Rouge is the colour red.

@@timgleaves9496 so glad it isn't just some mistake I am making. It scared the heck outta me lol. Thank you for the help!
Book music instrument combo, that should level up your book reading and music skills at the same time
Hey Cl3ver, it is so cool watching you freaking out about your design xD seriously it is awesome :D just wow :O
This might be your most under-appreciated video, just on another level
Yet another fantastic build. Great job on making the instument.
Hint on the marble slab. Check out granite/marble countertop instalers. The usually have cutouts from sinks layong around. Also monument companies. Waste from cutting gravestones. Creepy, but cheap.
Great Video, Thanks so much!
Thank you for watching!
Look at getting neutral antique from feibings. You can mix either angelus or cova color and make unique antiques

You know what, there have been a bunch of people in our community saying the same. Maybe it's time we get a little salty up in this!
Oh fantastic! I can't wait!!!!

@@SkillTree I was thinking that maybe the central circle area could be surrounded by a fireball, or perhaps the overall color scheme could match the wizard hat you made.
@@SkillTree An Idea just popped into my head maybe for the rogue you could make some blood splatter marks on it to give it that stabby vibe.
Didn't see any other comments addressing it, but I think the instrument would be considered a zither. Very cool! :-)
"What do you call a book harp?"
A barp, obviously. The bard that plays the barp.
Awesome build man! That's crazy how you actually made it an instrument. Lol
I am so glad it worked out. I just checked on it and it's even still in tune!
He is SO SUPER good!
OK, Wow! It PLAYS!?! WHAT?!? I guess you have to play it ... Every Time You Open It.

For Paladin, I suggest white and gold

Stunningly interesting details and the design is uniquely wonderful ❤️🥰
'Jerk' is too tame a word for Acererak XD But the book came out lovely so that's one less Divine Smite to the face he's going to get for being photogenic.
Thanks, Fish! He DOES look good behind those bars. Probably taints the music with evil tho
I’d recommend using a marble cutting block for stamping.
I am going to try and call a countertop company. Let's see if they have any cut off pieces they would be willing to part with😁
That greening tint is called "bronzing" to fix that just take isopropyl alcohol and wipe it off.
Amazing!
I know I’m ages late but a gold thread would look very nice when he stitches that book.

Also congratulations on 8,000 subs Cl3ver
Thanks bro! 😁
Currently playing a tengu Creation Bard. Having so much fun with my awkward birby painter.
To unlock it you must play a song that is worthy of being sung by a bard.
I love Dungions and Dragons too. I am a Dragonborn.
Sweet! What kind? I tend to go halfling or tabaxi😁
You could totally use part of a base board for the tip and bottom
Lol...moist. Makes me wonder if you had a challenge to see how many times you could say it :D
I can finally sing secret tunnel to my hearts content
Love this! Amazing!o
Thank you for checking it out!
Awsome :D a drum would be dope!
You should make the spell book from Hocus Pocus for Halloween 🎃
You should start making replicas of magic items from the book!
17:54 "Kill Tree" 🤣
Looks like you’ve gone.....bard-core!
For that pun, you are losing access to the Bard's guild! You my friend... have been dis-bard
I've just come across your channel. Could you stop living my perfect life please?
What up fam.
I think you should make leather shoes from scratch.
Thank you.
I agree! Going to start planning that one soon, I think! Thanks for the request!
@@SkillTree thanks
Can you PLEASE! Make the tome of the paladin
Another great vid, maybe a future project make some form of instrument.
I have just the one in mind! Thank you for watching!

I play as a bard. I'd pay a STUPID amount of money for something like this.
answer for what you call a book harp = a bark by chance
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
How does putting that on a bookshelf not smoosh the ukelele front?
Record a music video 😉 just for your auditorium 🙂
Lmao....im a little tea pot....lol
Ah yes, the epic of the mighty teapot. Truly a gripping tale.
yeah, you be crazy!......lol
Was the intro suppose to not have music?
Oh no! I totally missed that! Good catch. Must have shifted it over to the muted track with all of my shops background noise on it!
No music during the intro... I thought my computer suddenly broke.
Now you read while playing the harp
wher was the introw music
Did anyone else not have sound for the intro piece?
these aren't book covers.. this is scrapbooking
War drums
Is it just me or did he forget to upgrade wood working level?
Hey have any of you guy seen Zatch Bell
Shouldn't in this video be two skills cuz one is how to make the book itself and the other in the end is about the music that you made?
Doesn't look too good on a book shelf
That makes it a true Bard's book! It can't tolerate being put away on a shelf! It must be the center of attention.
@@SkillTree Makes sense LoL
