What I like about Chris, compared to some other Disney Parks vloggers, is that he's just there to share information and great advice. He's always gracious with his fans, he's polite, and he doesn't block traffic to do a selfie. Heck, even his backpack strap over his left shoulder is frayed, showing he's more worried about the content than how he appears on video. He's like an old fashioned reporter! Thanks for the great work and appreciate the videos.

Hi Chris! I met you while you were filming this video, right at the entrance to Frontierland. I was with my family and you can see us in the video briefly before you stopped filming. You were so gracious to give me a few minutes of your time-we took a few photos, we talked about your recent Disneyland Paris videos and you gave me some tips on how to book cheap flights. Thank you so much being so kind and amazing! Love PPP!!! 💙💚
You forgot to mention the Plaza Inn restaurant. They have the best fried chicken! Even if they have a long line, it does not take very long to get in and they have a lot of seating inside and out side. It’s at the end of Main Street on the right hand sidebetween first aid and star tour

I met Chris last October at the Castle Inn & Suites when he was with his parents... He stopped and took the time to visit with me and my family and introduced his parents to us. He really is as nice as he appears in his videos!

Your interaction with the Storm Troopers had to have been so fun. I had fun with them during my visit there in 2022. Hi Chris I’m talking to you, this vlog was great fun to watch especially when you were interacting with the Storm Troopers. I have taken your advice in years gone bye regarding eating at Disneyland and have found it to be very helpful. We always visit Cafe Orleans to have a Monti Cristo sandwich. All the best to you. Keith (Southampton UK )
I would love to see you do a historical video along the lines of "This is where this ride used to be and this is the evolution of this space ever since" or do the same for restaurants, etc. Disneyland history is really fascinating! ❤❤❤
Our family loves Pizza Planet, I can’t believe it’s the one you recommended the least!! We also love The Hungry Bear. Some great food options in Disney !! Thanks for another great video
Hi Chris !! I just wanted to thank you for your videos and all of the hard work that you put into them. I “discovered” you through seeing you pop up in Ordinary Adventures videos. (I feel very comfortable with Peter and Kitra and I feel like, if THEY like you you must be a nice guy.) I started watching YOUR videos and I really enjoy them. It’s nice to “spend time” with you and your Wife and Son. Thank you for your continued encouragement and support to each person in your audience. ❤ Sending you (3) bunches of love.❤❤
Chris, I don't normally watch theme park videos (working at one, it's just a bit much for me sometimes to watch vlogs about them lol), but I clicked this because I've thought you were awesome since meeting you at Salt Lake FanX back in 2015. I was kind of just listening with this in the background and agreeing or disagreeing with you, and then suddenly you did the heartfelt motivational moment after Pizza Planet and I stopped dead in my tracks and went back to that moment. Thank you. I hope you're doing well and that you know that you matter too.
My daughter & I really love going to Harbor Galley for the tuna salad on a brioche bun! It always comes with a dill pickle spear & a bag of kettle chips. It’s a delicious lunch & a great value!
Chris!! Thank you so much for what you show us!! It’s truly like traveling with you!! I appreciate your guidance so much on all the theme parks / places you take us! I feel so prepared when I make that trip!! God Bless You!!! ❤
Hi Chris, I would like you to do a video on when you were a kid and how you started going to Disneyland, and you’re favorite rides and when you decided that this would be your future job!
A hack I've seen is people will get the garlic pretzel roll from edelweiss snacks and then go to Bengal Bbq and get a skewer. They then make a sandwich with it. On another note, I was very distracted by your backpack and would love to fix that for you. I live not too far from you so it wouldn't be a big deal.
Red Rose is awesome for Breakfast. I prefer it over Carnation’s breakfast. The best part is you don’t need a reservation or having to get on the Wait-list. Our kids love the Mickey pancakes! We usually go at 10am after visiting Fantasyland rides to maximize our day. 😎✌️
IDEA for video: I think you've done it before but might be good to again do "Top places to get out of the heat and sun" because it's summer and can be brutal there some days. At DCA, we loved Art of Animation, so fun and in the AC! Turtle Talk is also in the AC and fun. Gift shops have AC, too. Some rides have mostly indoor lines and the ride is indoors, so cooler, too. That kind of thing.
Chris you are a great person!!!!! I love your videos!!! I'll be there Thursday Saturday and Sunday. Doing Universal on Saturday I hope I see you walking around!
I have my husband a hallmark tree ornament of a storm trooper that is also an alert for anyone sneaking at gifts under the tree both my husband and kitty would set it off. It one of our best Disney/Star Wars ornament 😂❤
Thank you for my daily dose of Disney. It's been so long since I've gone but I know I'm going to be there real soon (🤞🏻) I love your content! You're like the Mr. Rogers of Disney Content bringing joy and uplifting people's spirits. Thank you!
Thank you so much Chris for seeing my favorite place, I miss it SO much but enjoy your videos brings back that wonderful feeling I get when I am there. If you ever need a companion to go with, I am available!!!❤
When our family of five did our first trip to Disneyland in 2010, we arrived mid-afternoon, rode a couple rides, and our first meal at the resort was Rancho del Zocalo... we were AMAZED at the length to which the staff were willing to go to accommodate dietary restrictions, and they had great food!
I have 5 kids. My family favorite used to Bengal BBQ, getting the skewers. They were reasonably priced and easy to share. Over time though they've gotten more expensive and don't seem to be much food, so I don't like them as much anymore. They still TASTE great... but the value isn't what it once was. The Corn Dogs are still pretty good though. We mostly just look for options to share larger meals or just accept that the price is what it is. I"m with you on Red Rose too, the atmosphere is cool and the food's pretty good. The running joke in our family is the pizza at Alien Pizza Planet. Which is weird because the pizza at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta is pretty good.
The Pizza Port was our go to for sharable food with the kiddos. Pasta... Salads... garlic bread sticks. ALL were perfect for buying basically one meal to feed 2 1/2 or 3 peoples. Shady seating too!! Haven't been back post covid... hate to hear it's lost its' mojo.
Alien Pizza Planet is fine. It's designed for efficiency & volume service. The food & pizza is okay but Cafe Daisy's Pepperoni Pizza Flop-over beats the living daylights out of it.
Thank you as always for your videos, so fun and educational and always positive!! I just called getawaytoday for help with tickets for an upcoming trip (mentioned you guys of course😊) and you are right, they are very nice and so helpful. We will def use them in the future for our Disney plans! 🤗
My 3 favorite food spots are all kind of next to each other...Bengal BBQ, which you mentioned, but the other 2 are Tropical Hideaway and Jolly Holiday. Really great food at all 3 places!
About 10-12 years ago, the French Market had a crazy delicious Roast Beef Royale platter that came with tender, sliced beef with gravy, onion mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and cornbread for $13.49. It was an absolute fire deal for quick service.
The food all looks soooo good in Disneyland! As a vegetarian I definitely wouldn't have any trouble finding food there! Appreciate your in depth tours of everywhere 😊
Definitely get the Lobster Roll at Harbour Galley!!! Big chunks of Lobster and good price for the amount you get. And get plenty of napkins. But I'm still sad they got rid of the Ravioli at Boardwalk Pizza in DCA.
Provost Park Pass is such an awesome human. I remember the first video I watched was his bathrooms in Disneyland video and my sister and I took note of the private bathroom in Hungry Bear in case we needed to throw up from eating too many churros 😂 That didn't happen luckily (the throwing up -we DID still eat too many churros and destroy our mouths, ouch). But now we are big Park Pass fans and even had the absolute pleasure of meeting Chris at the airport once! He was so kind and took pictures with us and even chatted and asked questions about our trip. He was so genuine and you can see that in his videos as well! Thanks so much Chris!!
Carnation Cafe is definitely one of the best. The food and service is always a 10. Flavorwise, Bengal BBQ rice platter is the way to go. And for pizza, the Alien Pizza Planet. AND. . . yes, those breakfast Ronto wraps are REALLY good. First time I tried them, I was expecting NOT to like them. But they were surprisingly good. BUT. . . sometimes when my goal is to get on as many rides for the day, I just run into that store in front of Jungle Cruise, or any of them fruit carts, and just grab a pickle, and pineapple spear, and a water. Sometimes I'll only go on this stuff 2-3 for the day, and I won't get hungry. I just eat this on my way to the next ride. You can never go wrong with a chilled pickle or pineapple spear!
Carnation Cafe favorite place to eat at Disneyland since it opened in 1955. Great place for date night dance parties with the teenage HS grads in the mid 60s!
Chris, YOU are amazing man! Taking the time for the positive words, all the times you stopped to talk to people. and even being so kind about the review on Pizza Planet and their weird set up. I hope to see you in the park or Downtown Disney some time and shake your hand.
Thank you for your videos. I love to have them playing in my office while I’m working. Disney has always been special to me. I love how you navigate through the park and chat to us as you go. And your moments when you talk directly to us and tell us it will get better almost always make me cry in a good way. Thank you. You make the world a better place. ❤
Long time former Disney employee here. Excellent videos and breakdowns of the various food choices at the park. I think he captures the essence of the park and seating options very well. Great job. Ps. Love the stormtroopers as well. lol.
Hi!!! I just want to leave a compliment for you, for your videos, and also a HUGE thank you for your recommendations, especially regarding snacks!! I took my daughter to Disneyland for the first time at the end of June, for her eighth birthday, and it was a ton of fun. On her actual birthday, we had a Fantasmic dining package and had a great view of the show, but she was super-duper tired when the show ended and so we skipped the fireworks (we had a great view from our hotel room every night, so don’t worry, we definitely saw fireworks during our visit), and walked out of the park in the most efficient way we could figure out. Our path took us right beside one of the candy shops on Main Street, I don’t know which one it was, but she asked if we could pop in and see if they had any Tigger/Tiger Tails there. She loves marshmallow treats, and the only way we knew those things existed was from watching one of your videos. So we slipped in the side door, and there they were, in the display!!!! We had been very worried they wouldn’t be available since critter country is shut down. But they were there, and it was a perfect way to end her birthday. 🎉 thank you, thank you, thank you for recommending that treat. 🧡🖤🧡
Chris your videos are so great, and have inspired me to embrace my love of Disneyland! My solo trip is almost here!!! I’ll be at Disneyland on 7/29,7/30,7/31, and 8/1. Please tell me that you’ll go on at least one of those days!! Lol. I’d love to say hi to you tell you how awesome you are!!
At Disneyland we always start off with Jolly Holiday or Plaza Inn if character dinning is available for breakfast. Lunch is Docking Bay 7 and dinner have to get that fried chicken plate at Plaza Inn. It was Walt's favorite.
I will not give up. Thank you for that and thank you for this video. I'm planning a dream vacation for mom, dad & brother for Christmas. I'm looking for recommendations on places to eat. Places look sweet! We haven't been to Disneyland in about 20 years. So I'm making this vacation a sweet, memorable experience. And I'm getting reservations at Grand Californian Hotel.

They were YUMMY!!!! That's one thing I'm missing right now.....I wish I could've ordered a bunch to bring home with me.
All I could think about is Chris' frayed backpack strap. I wonder what happened, the stories it holds. Moreso I wonder how long it'll hold on.
I noticed it too 😂
Yep, the man puts in travel miles pounding Disneyland pavement
i thought it was a little clip on troll or furbie
Storm trooper interaction…AMAZING!
I loved this and subscribed yes I am going thru a lot of everything thank you Sir Chris
I really appreciate that you take the time to stop and interact with your fans! You truly are a genuine, kind person. I hope one day to see you in the parks! Thank you for all the great content you share and for all the effort you put into your videos. I'm going to DL today and will try one of the places you mentioned here for the first time! Some places, i didn't even know existed! There are some hidden gems! Thank you, Chris! 😊
I am definitely a fan of yours, thank you for sharing!❤
Ronto-less wraps are probably our favorite thing in the park.
We need a “Hi! How are you?” count on this one. It’s so sweet every time!
You are an amazing human being, Mr. Chris. Bless you
Thank you 💚💙
Absolutely loved your interaction with the Stormtroopers, it's one of the best that I've seen! What fun that must have been 😀
Thanks for the kind words at the end of each of your videos, bro!
Hi Chris
I’m talking to you, this vlog was great fun to watch especially when you were interacting with the Storm Troopers.
You should check out Yesterland then. They have a lot of historical photos and will give you the evolution of the ride or the space.
@@FMesserer512 I look at that site all the time, I just would like to see Chris' take on some of that stuff. ♥
(I feel very comfortable with Peter and Kitra and I feel like, if THEY like you you must be a nice guy.)
I started watching YOUR videos and I really enjoy them. It’s nice to “spend time” with you and your Wife and Son.
Thank you for your continued encouragement and support to each person in your audience. ❤
Sending you (3) bunches of love.❤❤
I wish I had a job like yours, how awesome to be at Disneyland all the time. You make me smile because you enjoy your work!❤
That was great how the storm troopers interacted with you.
That’s a great idea!!! So trying this next time I go!
All of your videos have helped more than you know. Coming down Sept 9th through the 11th. We hope to see you there. 😃😃
That’s when we are going too! 😊 Have fun!
Excellent video Chris. Love ya
Loved this filming style!!!
Loved this one, thank you! I love everything about Disneyland original👏🏻💕🙏🏼🥰🥰
Great information!!! Thank you for all of your hard work. 🥳
They still have the chicken pasta and garlic breadsticks, which is what I had last time and split with my son.
Tropical hideaway a must for a dole float and lumpia. I’m addicted to both
@@lindamemo5224 Dole Whip and lumpia for me, but yes!
Great video, good advice and options.
Plaza inn is our go to! Relaxing, indoor at outdoor seating, delicious fried chicken and salads made to order. And never a long wait!
Can't wait to go. My son turns 8, and he'll be waking up to the joys chaos and magic of disney lol in 2 weeks exactly ❤🎉😊
That is awesome!
Great video, thanks! I’d love to see a meet and greet video with you and your fans.
I enjoy your attitude. You are inspiring, humble, and bring me hope that life will get better.
I enjoyed your video. Great info on all the restaurants.
Thanks for this great info. Love your vids. ❤
Carnation Cafe favorite place to eat at Disneyland since it opened in 1955. Great place for date night dance parties with the teenage HS grads in the mid 60s!
Love your work Chris ❤
Chris, YOU are amazing man! Taking the time for the positive words, all the times you stopped to talk to people. and even being so kind about the review on Pizza Planet and their weird set up. I hope to see you in the park or Downtown Disney some time and shake your hand.
ur interaction with the stormtroopers 🤩
Can you do a "detail" video? Like different roof types, Street differences, lights, weather vains? etc. Thanks
Thank You for sharing places I haven’t tried 😋
Loved this video!
Would love to see Amanda do a review of Vegetarian Disneyland. Thanks so much for your great videos.🎉
We'd love to see you at the Disneyland birthday (7/17/2024) celebration to discuss/learn more about Disneyland/ Walt Disney history.
Thank you so much for your very kind and loving words. I needed to hear them today. xoxo
I LOVE the golden horseshoe !!! Their lemon pepper chicken tenders are bomb
I love your videos!!! You helped my daughter and I make some awesome food choices in Feb of 2024. You are great!
Royal street veranda: “nothing to heavy”……bread bowl: “hold my drink” 😂😂
I love the Disneyland castle and how it looks tucked behind the tree. It feels so much more immersive in Disneyland.
Long time former Disney employee here. Excellent videos and breakdowns of the various food choices at the park. I think he captures the essence of the park and seating options very well. Great job. Ps. Love the stormtroopers as well. lol.
I always appreciate your words. Thanks!
So glad to hear Portos Bakery is coming to Downtown Disney. That place is the best!
I used to bring chips into the park and order a side of refried beans at Rancho and it was so cheap!
We love the cheese enchilada combo plate with Extra sauce. UMMMMMM!!!
Cool encouragement and love!
That was a fun video Chris!! Of course it was, you made it!! Thanks a bunch for being you!! 😃👍🏼❤️
Chris, Another Great Video. We are planning another trip hopefully at the end of September; this is a great guide for some places we haven't eaten. Thank you for the always inspirational words; They mean a lot.
