Good safety tips. I’m curious if you get any water coming into your hull through the round hatch at the front of your kayak? I have exactly the same setup and get a bit of water in through the front round hatch.

Go for it with the big livebaits bro, I've caught 15 kilo kingfish on 60cm kahawai/australian salmon.
Very true man! I’d just prefer those medium ones for hookup rates also
@@nevsguidetofishing3398 Yeah, the smaller-medium ones are probably better overall for that size fish, but don't be afraid to use a big one if you have to. In Nz we prefer larger baits (big slimy mack/kahawai/blue koheru, bigger the better) bridle rigged through the eye on a big circle. Although I imagine the bigger baits are more effective here since we are targeting fish up to 30. What size do they max out at over there? 20 kilos?
