Just made this at home, love the texture of the rice paper! One caveat, make sure to steam on a ceramic plate, my first attempt I steamed it on the steam rack and the rice paper got too tender (at least mine did) and ripped apart despite oiling the rack before steaming.

My favourite dim sum dish too. Thank you for the recipe. I use an electric frying pan. It is easy to steam anything with a rack in it. Cover and steam cook away.

Honey when I first learned about rice paper wraps. I kinda was Leary about it looking slimy. But when I took my first bite it was a lettuce carrot, shrimp with a little yum yum sauce I fell in love. Now I stuff them with all kinds of things. You can eat them cold or hot it doesn’t matter. I am literally hooked on them. The best part is I don’t understand how my family doesn’t like them.😂 They are very good and healthy too . I love them cold stuffed with shrimp. But I kinda altered the yum yum sauce I love rice wine vinegar and I make a great sauce with it ❤❤❤❤❤
