@@beardordie5308 I’ll be uploading a version later on today! I have plans to build out the game for a full release too but I’m actually on holiday at the moment so haven’t had much time to sort it 😂😅

Big respect for making it clear that you used a car controller asset! Many unity gamedev youtubers just download a bunch of assets and templates and claim they made everything from scratch
This really made me feel much better as a gamedev myself. It's always nice to see that other people also struggle with simple things, it's hard to implement everything we wish to, other times we dont even really know what we want lol. Usually, dev logs portray devs differently. We see some struggle but not nearly as much. Really enjoyed this content!
Randomly got recommended this video and thought I'd check it out! Stayed till the end, really interesting seeing all the different ideas, styles, and techniques used by all the devs. Definitely inspiring stuff!
@@DanPos oh yes of course not with Synty (funny to see it in videos btw since I also worked on games with their packages ahah) but maybe with free assets packs or something like that I don't know your community but you have maybe talented artists following you who would be happy to make some together for you, idk
38:07 Dan, how did you fix the spawning tiles gap? I've tried to make an endless runner 3 times and every time I do it, I get that same issue and quit the project because nothing I fixes it

Would be fun to do it in a more open way, sharing the assets with all your community and setting a deadline, then testing all the community projects
Unfortunately I can't just give Synty assets away for free. These are specifically given to me for this purpose - it does sound a fun idea though!

Uhm... Is the script Outercloud wrote gonna be available anywhere? heh, that's an actual problem i've had trying to use synty assets in godot.
