The very first time I remember seeing Shirley Maclaine in a movie it was a movie from the late 1960's called "Woman Times Seven" . She was so very funny in all the characters she played and I've been a fan of all her movies ever since.
I Rember her on TV in the 1970's.and I saw some Movias've intense in Terms of Endearment. She can sing, dance and Act. Her spiritual quest and metaphysical fascinating.
She's got a sparkling screen presence in everything she does , check her out in TWO FOR THE SEESAW with Robert Mitchum ,they are both excellent in that bitter sweet movie.
One of the best scenes with Shirley McLain was in Terms of Endearment. After the nurses were late with her daughter's pain med, she acted just like I would. Great scene, great writing and great acting.
Shirley MacLaine is a great inspiration to me. I appreciate her openness and willingness to come out with her spirituality. What a wonderful strong woman and spiritual teacher. I hope to meet her one day.
