@Racing Crew or he’s pointing at the judge lol
EVERY TIME why does he informally take the evidence straight to the person it incriminates?! That's just ASKING to get held at gunpoint or attacked or something. Then he just doesn't try to escape at all even when it's totally possible. Like, there were police JUST OUTSIDE the room they were in. Even if he just screamed that'd be enough but NOOO he just stands there like a deer in headlights, even when Maya gives him a chance to make a break for it. It's so frustrating to watch him do that every single time.
That fucking scene cracks me up, and not in a good way. I can understand the inability to act and I'm willing to hold some suspension of disbelief but someone is literally screwing with case reports in a goddamn police department and no one gives a shit 😂

The DL-6 Incident caused Edgeworth to develop a fear of getting on elevators and the bad habit of blacking out from any kind of shaking, whether it be an earthquake or airline turbulence. However, the latter condition was softened somewhat thanks to Phoenix Wright absolving him of the guilt of the DL-6 Incident by exposing Manfred von Karma. Another aspect of previously mentioned habit was reliving the memory. That part stopped after this case wrapped up.

When a Prosecution prosecutes a Prosecution so you a Defense have to defend a Prosecution
I know this might sound odd, considering all the other weird stuff in this case, but I am incredibly impressed that somehow Maya and Phoenix were given access the precinct's records, without a manager present and then found a 15 year old file by themselves. Honestly, a file that old is often sent to an intermediary archive where it's kept until sent to its permanent destination, a preservation archive or destruction.
Furthermore, if the precinct had no records manager or archivist on their own archive, there would be no way to guarantee the autenticity of the files, as we just saw two people go in there and handle a murder file. Why wouldn't von Karma do that as well? I mean, he could destroy key evidence or wrongly assign the file to be destroyed.
Yeah I thought about how easy it was to tamper with evidence if that's how it is. It's even worse considering the fact that the crime happened in court where those involved could easily be in a position where they could access those files.

I waited so much to karma to have a breakdown like that
It's so dumb that this case devolved into a man being tried for murder on the basis that, as a *child* , in a multi-level crisis during which all parties were deprived of oxygen, he *threw* a gun which he, being both a child and genuinely oblivious to the gun's history and status, threw at an *assailant* who was trying to *murder* his father (which btw would already make Yogi guilty of attempted murder) and the gun went off due to impact and shot the father. Even throwing aside the circumstances under which it occurred (i.e. the Earthquake) this is still a case in which a man was trying to murder the victim, and the child threw a gun he didn't know was loaded AT the assailant in self-defense that, while potentially having some legal complications were he an adult, would absolutely be an act of legal self-defense for a child. It was initially considered a murder case due to the nature of the known story and the suspect's supposed actions, but if the suspect changes to the child involved, not only would all of what I've mentioned completely change the nature of the case and the crime in question, it would also completely change the context of the case to a juvenile crime if even that. You can't try a man as an adult for a crime he committed as a child, he would have to be tried with that context in mind.
Honestly the fact that they still tried to consider it a murder trial is in and of itself dumb. The only context in which Miles is guilty of murder is in his own conscience.
Agreed. It annoyed me that the characters thought “accidental murder” was as bad as intended murder.
and the fact that manslaughter wasn't even considered, which is what this case would theoretically be
