For anyone looking for the answer You can calibrate it with Distilled water which you can purchase at Walmart or Target or almost anywhere..make sure to put the distilled water in a Ziploc and float the distilled at the top of your tank water for a while so that the distilled water can become the same temperature as your tank water.Then add the distilled water to your refractometer and calibrate

Mine doesn’t have a water line. It has Be, Brix and water- which starts at the top with 12% and the bottom of the scale is 27%
The line in the center around 78.8 brix is your mark
