    Very good brother! The living who accepted Jesus, and the dead who rejected Jesus and had Him killed. We see similar events with judgment and harvest in every era, as the first Christians experienced in the first century. But the judgment began at Pentecost, with the outpouring of His Spirit on all flesh. I would even say that was His second coming, which later culminated in the Jewish-Roman wars of 66-70 AD. Blessing

      Hi @markusmustermann1265, thanks for watching! And thanks for the compliment!
      I believe you're referring to 2 Timothy 4:1 where Paul says, "and Christ Jesus, the One being about to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom"
      If I understand you correctly, you're suggesting that "dead" in the above verse means "those who've rejected Jesus" and "living" means "Christians."
      I do take that as a literal living and dead people and I believe this was fulfilled at the time Jesus returned. I'll be talking about that and how it was fulfilled in the next video to be released next week :)
      But if you're interested, I already have a blog article on this subject here:

      I hope this explains my position well. Thanks again for your kind remarks!

    So, the most spectacular scene, prophesied by all the Prophets, Jesus and the Apostles, and by Paul, i.e., the return of Jesus in the air, with his holy angels, was seen by some people and recorded by a handful of guys. Wow, that is absolutely AMAZING evidence of Christ's RETURN. Where do I sign to get a FULL PRETERIST CARD?

      Hi @tressabowles5817, I understand your concern. You might be surprised that I did not come willingly to this view. Rather, I realized this is what the scriptures taught and I tried to prove it wrong and unintentionally ended up proving it right. Don K Preston has a great video responding to this and related scriptures in the video I'll post. I hope you'll realize that I'm not trying to deceive anyone, but am looking at the text honestly with a great amount of study and praying that the Lord helps me to understand. Please also consider watching my other videos or reading my other articles at revelationsingrace.com and tell me if you think I'm trying to deceive anyone. The articles speak for themselves. The majority of my content comes directly from scripture that I'm interpreting in context. I understand how people can come to different opinions as I held a conflicting belief for decades. I'm a devoted follower of Christ, my heart and goal is to serve him and do my best to honor and understand his word. If you feel differently I understand and respect your conclusions. But, please take a closer look at the issue and make sure you aren't rushing to conclusions.

    The entire earth would see the lightening from the east to the west, within the Biblical model of the earth.. just like the Scriptures say. We have to take all scriptures literally for every single point and not try to negate their literal meaning by squeezing them into a modern day view of a planet, instead of the circle of the earth that stands on pillars. Once we understand the scripture using this model, everything becomes clear 🤍🕊️

    • @revelationsingrace
      @revelationsingrace  3 месяца назад +2

      I prefer to take things literally if the scriptures allow it, but scripture itself tells us to interpret some things figuratively and not always literally. For instance, in Revelation the angel told John that the beast he saw was not a literal beast but represented 7 kings and 7 hills. So the angel of God was telling him not to interpret the beast as a literal creature.
      That doesn't mean everything in the Bible is figurative however. We need to study, research the context the Bible was written in to understand when it's figurative and when it's literal. And when we are able, let the scripture interpret itself.
      The expression, "from the east to the west," may have meant in this context, "as far as one can see east and as far as one can see west." Although I'd have to study it to be sure. A literal interpretation of lightening however, would not suggest the entire earth would see it. Because people in America cannot see lightening in China, even if the earth were flat.

      In John 14:2-3, Jesus told his disciples that after he returned to fetch them, he would bring them back into his father's house.
      "In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also."

    Great video! I first learned about these from Revelation Revolution website regardung Josephus Wars 6.5.3 and Tacitus Histories 5.13. Even tho I knew that a coming of the Lord is when God sends a nation to judge another nation, this fully made me believe without doubt the 2nd coming happened. One thing I'm confused on is how would the resurrection have been? Does Near Death Experiences basically prove the New Jerusalem is hear and people could go to heaven or hell immediately after death? I know somewhere in Corinthians (I think) Paul wrote that if he dies, God has a body prepared for him in heaven. Tho I believe Full Preterism is the most logical reading of The Bible, the thing that kinda make me not fully accept it is that the greek word resurrection (anastasis) whuch people say that it rarely means anything other than a physical resurrection. But what if the resurrection is physical, but in another dimension? So like if you die, your soul (implied by a near death experience) goes to another body in another dimension (heaven or hell). I know the universe had a beginning and has to end, since the Kingdom of God cannot end, it seems that the resurrection has to be in a place that cannot end. I'm not too sure tho lol.

    Yes now that you figured out that Josephus was working for the Roman's compare the battle campaign of Titus and the ministry of Jesus and you will discover what is called the Flavian Signature. This is the proof that Josephus is the author of the first gospels.

    • @revelationsingrace
      @revelationsingrace  3 месяца назад +3

      Hi @Grayraven777, thanks for watching. Josephus wasn't working for the Romans, he prayed that God would allow him to minister to the Romans as a service to God and he surrendered to them as a prisoner. However, because Josephus was able to correctly predict Vespasian's rise to power from the dream God gave him, the Romans eventually freed him when Vespasian became emperor. As a result of Josephus' prayer, God saved his life from the rebels who wanted to kill him. In the Preface of his books "War of the Jews" he talked about how he was dedicated to unbiasedly recording the events that occurred during the war.
      Josephus showed himself as a dedicated Jew first who loved his people in the Preface. It was not until God showed him in a dream that the Jews would be destroyed in fulfillment of Old Covenant prophecy that he realized he wasn't going to win the war and believed he could better serve God by ministering to the Romans and recording the events that followed.

    But here, you didnt say anything about anyone seeing Jesus. Maybe i missed that part.

      @revelationsingrace  3 месяца назад +2

      Hi @minawena4428, thanks for watching!
      Yes, the Bible says even unbelievers would see Jesus' return.
      Revelation 1:7 (LSV) Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the land will wail because of Him. Yes! Amen!
      I talk about the tribes of the land wailing when they see him in the second half of the video. Josephus indicated many saw his return when he said, "were it not related by those that saw it." Tacitus adds, "Some few put a fearful meaning on these events, but in most there was a firm persuasion, that in the ancient records of their priests was contained a prediction of how at this very time the East was to grow powerful..."
      What Tacitus means is that the majority of Jews were familiar with this event but interpreted it as a favorable sign while those with knowledge were frightened by the sign.
      Pseudo-Hegesippus says many saw a large figure in fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. "Also after many days a certain figure appeared of tremendous size, which many saw, just as the books of the Jews have disclosed" and says that all of the land of Judea saw the heavenly armies: "by which the cities of all Iudaea [Judea] and its territories were invaded."
      I do believe this was the return of Christ as prophesied in Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 1:6-7. Throughout the first century, the unbelieving Jews were the driving force behind most Christian persecution. The Romans were ambivalent towards Christians, Paul even used his Roman citizenship to protect himself. However in 64AD, Nero's Jewish wife convinced Nero to blame the fire of Rome on the Christians and that lead to an empire wide persecution of Christians. When the Jewish war began at the time of Christ's return, Rome turned against Jerusalem which gave the Christians time to escape while Rome was distracted. God destroyed the people who had relentlessly persecuted his children, thus giving the Thessalonians relief.
      Hope this helps! Does that answer your question?

      @@revelationsingrace I agree, the prophetic 'End of that Age' was for the destruction of Jerusalem.
      It was for that generation, that evil generation that caused the deaths and persecution and torture of 'The Elect' who by the Holy Spirit, in the name of resurrected Jesus, established a new immovable Kingdom. The Kingdom of Heaven. A temple of Believers, One with Christ within whom the Holy Spirit abides. TRUTH.
      Jesus came, returned for the first fruits of the harvest and Heaven's gates were flung open.
      The feast of the Bride with the bridegroom wasn't to denote the 'End of Earth' ... yet!
      Angels were sent out to gather the destitute and oppressed to fill the places that the Apostate 'fallen away' were expected to have seats at that table.
      John was said to still 'be alive' when Jesus returned, (words of Jesus).
      John died a natural death. Jesus of course loves him but he did chase after the Converts of Asia Minor to return them to the Law ... so there is that! And He placed the readers of his book of Revelation under a curse. People are fearful to not believe Revelations, it is very schizophrenic.
      Apostates in Asia Minor fell away as first converts of Paul, of the living Word for 'The Free'.
      Victory is when Death is swallowed and all Spirits/Souls from all ages bow to Grace/Love/Peace offered in the gift of the Life of Jesus.
      Old bones aren't resurrected but we are resurrected in the Life-giver Jesus, the manifest Son of the Highest of Highest Creator.
      The Fire itself is everlasting, God however is Good and Merciful.
      If even one enters Heaven's gates then they have been judged. This is a long day of judgement with an expiry date which is at the very door! This is a long day of cutting the harvest, threshing the grain, winnowing and packing into bushels.

      Hi @andrejuthe, thanks for watching! Great question! While I haven't studied the man of lawlessness in much detail, I know some people who have. Ed Stevens writes about the man of lawlessness in his book, "The Final Decade." He identifies him as "Eleazar b. Ananias," who was son of the high priest and fulfilled many prophecies related to this figure. It is unclear how he died. Josephus drops mention of him in 66AD when Jesus returned. However, he many be mentioned under an alias by Yosippon and Hegesippus. If this alias refers to the same "Eleazar", he was slain by the hand of his own fellow Zealots in a mass suicide pact. Then his body was thrown into the blazing fire and burned to ashes on top of Masada in 73AD.
      There are other theories on who the man of lawlessness was, I'd also encourage you to consider Daniel Morais work on Revelation Revolution identifying the man of lawlessness as Titus who died from a sudden and rapid sickness after the sound of thunder from a clear sky. Daniel Morais may be able to address your questions better.

    • @revelationsingrace
      @revelationsingrace  3 месяца назад +2

      Hi @AstariahFox, thanks for watching! Actually, there are a few verses that indicate that even unbelievers would see Jesus' return.
      Even those who killed Jesus would see him return and would mourn. This was in fulfillment of Zechariah 12 where God says, "and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn." This does not come across as tears of joy but as tears of regret.
      Revelation 1:7 (LSV) Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the land will wail because of Him. Yes! Amen!
      Jesus spoke to the Pharisees saying that they would see him return, even though they were not believers.
      Matthew 26:64 (BSB) “You have said it yourself,” Jesus answered. “But I say to all of you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
      So his return was meant to be seen even by those who hated him. Consider watching some of my previous videos where I demonstrate that Jesus made a promise to return in his generation. If you consider these historical accounts presented in this video, that seems to be exactly what happened.
      Again, thanks for watching :)

      @AstariahFox, actually the 1914 date JWs use as the beginning of Christ's authority in heaven was first used as the date of the end of this system. When 1914 came and went, THEN they switched to the "invisible return" which ushered in the last days according to their doctrine. Of course, the apostles all taught that the last days began long before 1914 though.

      @@OJubilee13 huh? Well apostles thought the kingdom was coming in day but it didn't
      But we know a major event happened in 1914 that jesus told us to look out for
      He said look out for wars
      That's a sign of his presence and only his deciples would see it
      The ones that bieleved in him just like the 500 bielevers that saw him ascend back to heaven

      @@AstariahJW yes, I know they point to World War 1 as a "sign" but were you aware of that shift they made in their understanding?
      When Christ failed to appear in 1914, Judge Rutherford promoted the date as the time that Christ set up an invisible reign and they then used WWI as evidence. But World War I failed to abolish all earthly governments as they predicted. Were you aware of that change? So by using 1914 as the starting date of the last days, they've also had to adjust what "this generation" means in Matthew 24:34.
      JWs teach some good morals and encourage good Bible reading habits, but to say Jesus was made King in heaven in 1914 just doesn't make biblical sense when He told His disciples at Matthew 28:18 that He had ALL AUTHORITY back then. Did He lose it between then and 1914? Peter told those gathered at Pentecost that Jehovah had already made Jesus both Lord and Christ at Acts 2:36. Again, how is it that Jesus had to wait til 1914 for such power?
      In any case, I'm glad you're watching this video. The Scriptures offered here prove who saw Jesus' return in the time frame He said He would.

    Jesus HASN'T returned yet. To say that He has is to walk perilously close to heresy.

      @@AstariahJW That's NOT what Jesus said. He said, "YOU (the Jews) will not see me again UNTIL you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." That "until" means that He WILL come back, but not UNTIL the following condition is met.

      @@AstariahJW WRONG.
      Where were they standing when they saw Jesus ascend?
      The Mount of Olives.
      To where will Jesus return when He returns?
      The Mount of Olives.
      How will He return to the Mount of Olives?
      The same way He ascended. He will descend from the very clouds of glory which received Him when he ascended, and His feet will touch down on the Mount of Olives.
      How do we know this?
      Aside from Acts 1:11, we have Zechariah 14:4 and Daniel 7:13 - 14, just to name two passages off the top of my head.
      Jesus WILL return the same way He left: in clouds of glory, to the Mount of Olives, IN JERUSALEM, from which He will reign for 1000 years, and then forever and ever.
