Apart as a Hobbycraft,it is useful for people who cannot afford to just go and buy a dress,or have many small children!!! Sure it can help them a lot.I was born in the sewing atmosphere,as I have three of my sisters who used to go to school to learn sewing!! ( with all respect the bonette was made a bit large, comparison with the dress!! But that is how we learn!! Keep the good recycling and new ideas going!!! Thanks for sharing!!👍🙏🙏♥️😊

When I was 14 my neighbor showed me how to use sheets to make dresses because my dad and stepmother couldn’t afford to by me clothes. I see things in a different light now. I take the buttons of old clothing and salvage what I can. I can create an outfit without a pattern and have even sown a dress by hand and my coworkers thought I bought it, I was learning patience and detail with the hand sown project. God always has plans to teach us as long as we listen to instructions and follow them.

When I was a little girl, mama and my aunt made beautiful dresses for me. In 1960s, girls had to wear dress to school. All my dresses were made from flour sacks. We were poor, but mama and my aunt were creative. I have sweet memories of them.
