I was one of the many musicians renting industrial warehouses in the Sarasota / Bradenton area in the mid 80's to work out originals and hoping to break out one day. I had the opportunity to listened to CG practice a few times, and remember listening to the demo cassette (before the first album) thinking: THIS is the band that's going to break out and make a mark. I've been a fan for many, many years, and it does my heart good to hear this!

The best news I've heard in a loooooong time! No one sounds like you guys. As I was listening to the song, I realized that Crimson Glory was what my ears have been missing all these years! The singer sounds like the perfect spiritual successor to Midnight. Solid, solid work all around. Don't ever stop.
I am blown away at how awesome this song is...I listened to it numerous times...once as a whole, then I just listened to the guitars, then again concentrating on the bass, then the drums, finally the singer. All components of this legendary band are firing on all cylinders. The song is killer. I actualyy dusted off my headphones to get a really good listen and I was so impressed.....I cant wait for the CD
Awesome band, ahead of their time. Transcendence is my favourite metal album ever and it's great to know they're back again. The new single certainly keeps the high standard of their previous works. One of the most important bands to emerge in the late 80s and certainly one of the most influential.

This captures Crimson Glory‘s haunting atmospheres pretty great! Vocals could be a bit higher pitched and more powerful for my taste, but they‘re pretty good and are spiritual successors to Midnight‘s way of singing.
Triskaideka is thirteen in Ancient greek and triskaidekaphobia (fear of 13) is the concept of this anthem. A portal to mystical places and worlds unseen that only Crimson Glory can create. Hail to the Kings of the Masquerade!

Epic tune! It'll be awesome to have Crimson Glory back again. I'm a fan of the first two CG albums and Astronomica. This new track bridges melody and heavy. The band sounds tight and Travis' voice is pretty amazing. He's got a lot of influences in that voice of his. Sounds like a perfect match. Looking forward to hearing an entire album. 🤘

Truly incredible to hear new music from the legendary Crimson Glory! We all dearly miss Midnight and Midnight will always be an untouchable vocalist but I feel Travis will do well with Crimson Glory!

I don't think there will be any guest spots with him. I listened to an interview from last year with Ben Jackson where he said they never wanted to work with him anymore.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I’d like Crimson Glory without Jon Drenning, but this is pretty kickass! I hope the new incarnation does well and I’ll love it if Jon jumps back on board at some point in the future. I always felt he was a cut above most guitar players. I was waiting to see all the obligatory Geoff Tate and Midnight comparisons, but you came up with the perfect one. Big fan of BoP and Pyramaze, but I especially love Avian w/ Dave Ellefson.
Doesn't matter if he sounds like someone else to people, he's a singer and nobody can tell him how to sing as its his voice, not Midnight's or Wade Blacks. Midnight is gone from this earth, may he forever R.I.P. and I love his voice to this day but I know it will never be heard again no matter how much I wish he could have done more. I still listen to all CG's stuff and have my favorite songs but each vocalist has done a phenomenal job. You really can't compare vocalists and say who was better, they all are different vocalists. Midnight did a magnificent job helping catapult this band into metal history and his voice was just unbelievable. But Wade Black was also a force to be reckoned with in his work with the band. Todd La Torre, well he didn't put out an album with them so he doesn't really count IMO. This song sounds like a mid-paced song to me so the singer doesn't really let it fly like a bullet but I bet he can or he wouldn't be fronting the band. I hope there are some real let it fly songs to come that kick ass but I also liked it when they slowed it down too because the songs they wrote were just fantastic. Bottom line is I loved all of CG's albums and own them all so if there is to be a full album sign me up as one to buy it. Horns up to my favorite band! You rock!

My dude, "Strange and buttfu**ed " was a disgrace of an album. As a kid who purchased Crimson Glory debut upon its release you have no idea how detestable that 3rd album was. We were all shocked -"Transcendence " being one of my favourite speed Metal records ever recorded and then THAT ?Really ? I didn´t know a single person who mildly enjoyed that piece of arse of an album. Probably Axl Rose did ,dunno ...
I´m certain you can remember the intense hatred that some 80´s (specially ) Thrash bands ( early Nuclear Assault ,Exodus and Slayer instantly spring to mind ) instilled in their fans towards LA Butt Rock was such that ,anything which vaguely sounded like that would instantly made me furious (at that age when you feel everything intensely 😂.).
Song is good. Singer is good. The problem is that "good" doesnt cut it. The 1st & 2nd CG albums are "incredible, magical and historical" and this new song and singer are NOT. After listening to this song and then listening to just even the rough demos from the MYSTERY guy, now i understand why he didnt want to continue on with CG.
