So inspired and excited by the progress that Prof Xie and the PKU teams are making on this very important fight against the disease that knows no borders. So proud as an overseas Chinese that China is pushing forward on this frontier with collaborations. I hope and pray that Prof Xie and China will succeed and show the world how science with no borders can save mankind. However sad for mankind that selfish politicians in the western world whose goals are to serve their own egos and distorted goals, cannot transcend themselves to support, encourage and facilitate the work. Instead, they chose to sacrifice mankind to serve their own selfish needs. So sad that they can pride themselves in their crawl to be "leaders of the free world" over many dead bodies. Their day of reckoning will come.
Stay strong, focus and persevere team Prof Xie and PKU. Human mankind all over the world needs you. I am so proud to be Chinese.

Xiaoliang Sunney Xie underscores vividly the absolute humanitarian requirement that the scientific community, above all politics and nationalistic regimes, must be accorded full priority to work internationally - across all and any borders - to secure our greatest collaborative efforts to eradicate not just this contemporary virus, but all and any others that follow. Is this not prime time for politics and governments to universally recognize our only route to survival against global infection(s) is the freely-granted accord to the scientific community to work unhindered by those corporations: government-backed or private who'd line their own pockets at the expense of countless millions of lives in our tenuous humankind?

I believe such contribution like that offered by Hua Wei in AI medical connectivity to humanity will pave the way to a better understanding of China's contribution towards this end. I believe, this pandemic can provide the platform to contribute to humanity. With her traditional medical knowledge combined with modern technology, China can surely play a leading role to the rest of the world! JaiYU China!

Yes, we have more researchers going overseas to pursue further study because of globalization. Globalization offers researchers opportunities to share more academic resources and exchange information quickly with each other, regardless of countries and regions.
