My right speaker stopped working too. When I opened the left speaker I discovered the right wire was 'crimped' between the rear of the left speaker and the speaker housing. Now I need to cut out the crimped wire segment and insert/solder a small segment.

same problem with just left side not working but the wiring seems to be soldered. Have you seen this? I was thinking maybe the contacts inside the jack socket might not be making contact with the jack plug. I haven't done this yet, but i'm going to try hitting all solder joints with the iron anyways although i doubt it'll solve anything.
Probably not... Solo's are kinda messed up that way but worth a try anyway.
I have soul X-tra headphone and they suddenly stopped working earlier this week, in that there is completely no sound output from the left headphone (no static either). The sound is coming through fine on the right and they are connecting.
I have tried taking them apart and found the wiring to be intact and also connected to another device and found it has the same problems.
If you give me some assistance and direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
Mine are Zealot B20 B H, but they don't work on left side of the them. So will i be able to fix them if i follow your ways step by step ?

Hi, great video but I have an unusual problem: this pair of SoloHD only plays the audio instrumental and drowns out the singer in both speakers. Is there a fix for that? Ruled out the cable.

I realize this is an older video and you may not get around to answer my question, but when you say "wired" Solo2 what is meant by "wired"? I'm wondering if my Beats fall under this category because I have experienced the same problem expressed in this video. On how many models have you seen this problem occur? Also, as far as the soldering goes, do you need extra soldering wire or can you just solder the existing joint that's there like shown in the video?
Wired means they have no bluetooth connectivity and have to be connected to a device with an audio cable to get sound.
This problem can occur on any model and solder can be added if needed unless there is enough solder already there that can be used.

Try resetting them...hold the power button down for 10 seconds and the lights will flash five white and one red and flash five white then one red and it will be reset. This may help you

It is very common for wires to be damaged internally at crimped points be sure to check everywhere not just at the solder joints.
I don't think it's the wires. Seems more like internal driver problem... is it safe to open the driver?
Ok then try soldering the speaker to the other side and test. It is not very common for the speaker to fail but you never know.
I am writing from spain, I have the same problem, I checked everywhere and put the tester and everything is ok but the left side don’t listen :(
My left side is chippy(?) when I move the wire it does nothing but if I press against the headphone itself it chips in and out
