my favor card to make is birthday card as always have to be personally base on the frds liking or hobby n fun to make them with recycle n paper scrap. This is so fun i will try this for my card too. Thanks
I have now gone back and watched most of your videos (love the sheet load of cards, sheet load scrap cards and Now I’m going to need to do the clear cards.) I have been card making for quite a few years and love your videos. Thanks for all the work you do. I’m so glad I found your channel last weekend. 👍❤️
I do really like this layout and I am also trying to make more sets each month to show different ways to use it and the versatility. :) Thanks for watching!
QOTV your cards are lovely. Never tried clear before. I am tempted! My favorite cards to make... I discovered your sheet load of cards layout this past year...for Christmas I used two different layouts. They turned out really cute. And I didn’t spend hours and hours and hours. So...sheet loads are my current favorite! ☺️
Oh Alicia, I love what you have made. I had never seen the clear cards before, but I love them. I send out 40 plus anniversary cards each year and usually in Oct/Nov I look for an idea for the next year. Thanks to this video I already know what I am making and by Oct/Nov they will be finished. Thank you - thank you - thank you! I also send out 60 plus cards every few months to friends who are unsettled by Covid and I also send them to the kids in my life because Covid has turned their world upside down. I went through past Sheetload downloads and chose one for the adults (I even have the same paper you used) and one for the kids. Again a BIG thank you for all the hard work you put into Sheetload for us to enjoy.
QOTV I have always loved interactive cards...shakers, pull tab, zip card, shutter etc. I used them for special occasions. I also like making Sheetloads for Friendship/Thinking of You. For this set I liked how you added the coordinating stickers, making each card individual.
#QOTV I love making fun folds and one sheet wonders... your one sheet cards are so fun to make you do a great job on instructions very easy to understand... thank you
#QOTV my very favorite card to make is a pop up card. I think the surprise inside popping up at you has always been my favorite thing from a child on to receive or to give. I have a collection of them and I love making them anything with a surprise! I love your cards too!🥂
#QOTV I love making all kinds of fun fold cards for my grandkids, they live out of state and with the pandemic I haven't seen them in a year. My daughter face times me when the kids open the card. So making those cards right now are my favorite.
#QOTV---I love making cards with panels made up of strips made from scraps...especially the branding strips from paper pads!! And I just ordered the clear report covers, can't wait to make some!!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I just ordered today 2 pads of this paper you’re using in this video. I love the rain boots. So cute. Found it on Amazon. It’s being delivered tomorrow and I cannot wait.
I love watching your videos! My favorite cards to make are Christmas cards and any card using patterned paper. Thanks for sharing your creativity. #QOTV
Alicia, you are so creatively talented. I love these cards. I haven't yet tried an acetate card but one day I hope to. QOTV: I like making cards that encourage people. Be it a watercolour card, a die or embossed background, etc. PS... I love embossing now. From that 1st one I did I fell in love with the technique. TFS. I appreciate your time, effort and talent and I definitely don't mind a longer video from you. I'm so glad that I found your channel. God bless you and your family. Keep well. Stay safe. 💖🤗💐
I am so excited that you are going to be doing regular clear card shares!! These are lovely. #QOTV. I love making Slimline cards as much as Pop Ups or Fun Folds. If I can incorporate either into a Slimline? Happy Dance. 💃😊
I have never seen a clear card before. I am enthralled. As to your #qotv I don't make many cards, although I am trying to make more. I do make five each month to send to my young grandchildren so they (1) get mail and (2) know grandma loves them.
#QOTV I like to make Hello & Thinking of You cards but Thank You cards are in there too...I like to learn new fun fold cards and always trying new technique...never made a clear card so I have to try it out......TFS
Beautiful cards, Alicia. Spring Market collection is very pretty will have to see what kind of pattern paper in my stash. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos cause learned a lot from watching them. #QOTV: for my favorite cards to make are shaker cards and easels.
#QOTV I like making individual personal cards such as "I'm thinking of you" or "just because" or notecards to go into a gift box. Thanks so much for your amazing videos. You explain everything so well.
#QOTV: I do love making all kinds of shaker cards! A good crafty friend & I also spend the entire year each year working on Christmas cards. I only send out about 50-60 each year, but she sends out 250-300! So I enjoy crafting individual sample cards while she works in multiples. Occasionally I jump in & help make multiples for her. Alicia, I also love your clear cards! The ones you made in this video are really pretty. And I am so thankful you passed out the information regarding the acrylic cover sheet card stock back a few months ago. What a difference in my cards when I use the correct paper. Keep crafting for us, my friend!
Wow, that is a lot of cards - so glad you and your friend can work on your Christmas cards together - that sounds very fun. So glad you find my channel helpful. Thanks for watching and sharing. :)
#qotv. My favorite cards are Christmas and birthday. I have been collecting your sheet load of cards “maps” for a while and I finally used one. I used January’s and made 20 Easter cards to donate. I think I might need to try the clear cards as well!
These are more complicated than the original sheetload but sssooooo worth it! They are lovely. Thanks for always taking the time to explain the who/what/when/where/how much in all your videos. #QOTV - I'm currently on a "scraps" bender and have been making lots of quilt-ish & herringbone cards. I can put together the backgrounds while watching a TV show and no two are ever the same. Sure, I could make one faster if I wasn't dividing my attention, but I'm not in it for speed. I'm just trying to use up scraps and am generally pleased with the outcome. I'm finding the senior ladies who get some of my donated quilt cards love them, and they often start telling me stories of making quilts when they were younger. That's another win for me. 😊
#QOTV I LOVE making cards using any component with watercolor paper. It’s so much fun creating and each one is different (I usually make at least two or more of each kind of card). I do want to try your Sheetload of Card ‘recipe’ as I have a LOT of extra card stock. Thanks much!
These cards are very interesting, I think I will CASE! I have a very old box of transparencies that I have used for card making in the past. I think I will give them a try with your examples. Hope they work! (The link to the ones you use says it not available)
I think its great to try it out with what you already own - hope it works. I do know my 'preferred' brand is out of stock, but others have ordered from the alternative links and they say it works great too. TFW :)
Your cards & sheetloads are such a big help. Love them. Going back from the beginning starting now. #QOTV - I love to make Christmas cards. I send lots of them. I also love to make cards in general, and then add a sentiment later. .I just like to have them on hand. In terms of size/style... I have so far stayed with A2. And I love a lot of layers, and some fun folds... but simpler fun folds like Joy Folds & Z folds.
Lovely cards! I have never made a clear card, but may try it sometime. #QOTV My favorite kind of cards to make are Just Because or Hello. I like sending cards for so special reason and these work for many occasions.
Thanks for a great video. I've never made a clear card but this inspires me. #QOTV My favorite kind of cards are Thinking of You cards - they work for so many occasions.
Really enjoyed this video! I have never considered making clear cards before, but these are really cute. I am newer to your channel and am enjoying the videos you are sharing. Fun to see how many different interpretations there are for each sketch! #qotv, I like to make 'CAS' (clean and simple) cards best. I donate monthly and keeping them on the simple side lets me make more of them to contribute while minimizing postage on the outgoing cards when the recipient organization uses them. :)
Hi my name is Gail and I'm from Michigan. This is my first time ever hearing of a clear card I would like a longer and in depth definition of that as I really would like to try it but I have no clue of what to even start doing much less do the whole card LOL LOL I still consider myself a novice as I don't get to work on this as much as I would like to. So an explanation of the clear card would be wonderful thank you very much and I'm going to continue to watch this video to the end and hope it clears up some of the month I'm in take care and have a wonderful blessed day thank you bye bye
Welcome, Gail! I have a Q&A video all about clear cards, here: ruclips.net/video/LhEci-JSxq4/видео.html And a playlist of other clear cards I have created, here: ruclips.net/video/iUZbTVydHXA/видео.html Hope that will help :)
Very nice cards Alicia. I like making cards with layered papers, lace and flowers. Lately I've been liking the slim line cards. I have a hard time keeping cards flat, one reason I wanted to try the SheetLoad of Cards this year to help me with this issue. I started out making tags instead of cards. Always struggled with sentiments for the inside and with tags I didn't have to worry about the sentiments. lol #QOTV =^^=
#QOTV I love making A2 cards. They are mostly Birthday cards. Shaker cards are extremely difficult for me to make, but with that said I made four (of course that were birthday themed). No more since then. Lol
Love love love these clear cards Alicia, especially that ‘inner card’. #QOTV: my favourite cards to make are unique ones ie. cards in a box or these new cube cards with 5 or more cubes. Also screen cards and easels. I enjoy sending all sorts of ‘feel good’ cards. Thanks again so much for sharing your videos, I love watching and learning......🇨🇦
#QOTV-Hmmm....favorite cards to make? I tend to go with clean & simple rather than many layers/steps. I also tend to go with blank/non-sentiment so that I can use it for anything. Your clear cards are growing on me though. TFS!
Hello, hello. I just have.question. Have you ever done a set of cards for MEN who don’t want “cutsie” or flowers. If you have could you please steer me to which month and year please. I have a son having a birthday in May and hubby is June. Love your card set and soooo glad you do videos for them. I’m still trying to get my head wrapped around the different cut diagrams …particularly which paper for which a, b, c, d etc.
I don't make many stereotypically masculine cards for SheetLoad, but when I do, it usually falls to the theme of the papers or the overall color palette. Depending on what the men in your life enjoy you could choose some sports, outdoorsy, geometric, etc. or my favorite - nautical. :) I put a few of my videos and 1 from a collab team member into a playlist that might help you. ruclips.net/video/xgIKwjJ3ncU/видео.html
So glad you enjoy my channel! :) I use some to send out to subscribers and family, a couple friends from work buy them from time-to-time and others sit here waiting for an occasion. :) I am hoping once things get safe again to donate to local retirement homes along with the cards viewers send in for the monthly showcase. :)
I like to make 5x7 cards. I am trying to use your SHEETLOADS as sketches for my bigger cards. Love your sketches, I look forward to the first of the month eventhough my rent is due, your sketches make me smile #QOTV
I don’t worry about hiding the adhesive. I do discuss it a bit on the Q&A video. Please make sure to add your answer if you use the #QOTV hashtag. :) TFW
Love these cards! Will have to use this when I use up this paper pad later this year. #qotv I love making Christmas cards they are my favorite, however making so many Valentine's cards lately has that type coming in a very close runner up...of course using sheet loads is sure a fantastic way to get a lot accomplished! Thanks so much!
One of my favourite cards! I absolutely love the clear cards and will try with my Easter cards. Going to order the 10 mil report covers now! Thank you so much for the inspiration!!
Im so glad that I finally got to see this video! This one is going to my watch later file. Thank you so much for sharing these fascinating cards. I have everything to make them except the main thing! The clear card stock😜
June, if you live near a copy/print shop maybe you could stop in and see if they will sell you a few clear report covers (hopefully 10mil weight) to try out. Thanks for watching. :)
I love love these cards. I haven't tried the clear cards but this makes me want to try. #qotv I really like watercolor cards for my special friends and family but also have been doing a lot of Stamped and die cut cards.
Someone told me several years ago that if you add a piece of vellum to the top side of your intricate embossing folder, it will keep your embossed element from being so fragile and open to tearing. I tried it and that worked for me. Open this tip helps you too. 🥰
Alicia, I really like how you've shown a variety of ways to use your sheetload of cards for the month of January 2021. These cards with the clear acetate are just beautiful. I enjoy making cards that have layers for all types of special moments. #QOTV
I watched your q and a for the clearcards and tried it once. I loved your video but I can see the adhesive on the back of the clear side. Ia there anyway to avoid seeing the adhesive? Does it have to be a specific adhesive? Or is that just the way it is? Thank you and I took your recommendation to buy 2 clear cardstocks from our local copy store.
I don’t let the adhesive on the back bother me. You could put the mats for each piece on the back side of the cardstock to cover adhesive on patterned papers. I know when Jennifer McGuire makes see through items she doubles up stuff for the back. Hope that helps. TFW
I recognize that collection!! 😄 I absolutely loved it!! Great job!! I’ll have to check out that video about using clear cardstock! #QOTV If I can only pick one -Birthday! TFS!❤️
Those are awesome!! I am definitely going to have to make some of those!! I love the fun fold! #qotv I love making cards that are just fun and pretty. I know it sounds strange, but I will often make cards rhat i think are pretty and have beautiful papers and not put a sentiment on them until I need to send it out.
Wow! These are super. Thank you fir your talents!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching.
Awesome cards!!! Thank you!!! 🤗

Beautiful cards. The only difference I'd do would be not using a staple. I'd glue the pieces together & to the card.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch :)

#QOTV I’m just getting started so I like experimenting. I do find myself drawn to white on white with maybe a punch of color.
White on white can make some gorgeous cards!! :) Thanks for watching and sharing.
Beautiful cards. I don’t mind that it’s a little longer. You do really great tutorials.
Thanks so much - I got a bit worried when I saw how long it was getting ;) TFW!
I absolutely love your clear cards and so happy to hear we will be seeing more videos of them this year. Thank you!

Lovely cards! I have never made a clear card, but may try it sometime. #QOTV My favorite kind of cards to make are Just Because or Hello. I like sending cards for so special reason and these work for many occasions.

#QOTV I heart making 02/14 cards. I really like making a "pretty" card for 02/14 but with a sentiment about heartache. My 2nd fav is birthday cards.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and share :)
Debbie, thanks so much for taking the time to watch and share some of your favorites :)
#QOTV I love making A2 cards. They are mostly Birthday cards. Shaker cards are extremely difficult for me to make, but with that said I made four (of course that were birthday themed). No more since then. Lol
I'll bet if you make more shakers you'll get better at that too. TFW!
Brenda thank you for you taking the time to watch and share your favorites :)
#QOTV-Hmmm....favorite cards to make? I tend to go with clean & simple rather than many layers/steps. I also tend to go with blank/non-sentiment so that I can use it for anything. Your clear cards are growing on me though. TFS!
i hope you will give clear cards a try sometime. :) TFW
@@CallMeCraftyAl Thank you so much.
Awesome cards! I really loved the card inside the card - such a great idea. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for watching :)
Gorgeous! I’ve been watching for a couple of weeks and I love your style.
What do you do with all the cards?
So glad you enjoy my channel! :) I use some to send out to subscribers and family, a couple friends from work buy them from time-to-time and others sit here waiting for an occasion. :) I am hoping once things get safe again to donate to local retirement homes along with the cards viewers send in for the monthly showcase. :)
#àQOTV at type of cards with shimmer or glitter papers. Love me some bling
I love some bling too :) TFW!!
I like to make 5x7 cards. I am trying to use your SHEETLOADS as sketches for my bigger cards. Love your sketches, I look forward to the first of the month eventhough my rent is due, your sketches make me smile #QOTV
Glad I can bring a smile to your face :) Thanks for watching and sharing.
Great tutorial. Love the paper. Going to watch the clear video. #qotv how do you hide the adhesive
I don’t worry about hiding the adhesive. I do discuss it a bit on the Q&A video. Please make sure to add your answer if you use the #QOTV hashtag. :) TFW
How do I find the printed directions?
The "January Debut" video is linked in the description box. I give instructions in that video on how t download the instructions. TFW!
Thank you. I have downloaded others but didn't see it this time.
I love love love these cards. The paper is so cute and what a great way to use those sticker sheets. Your videos are awesome.
Thanks so much! :)

#QOTV I really like making 5x7 cards before I start my A2 cards.
Thanks!
I hope you will give clear cards a try, Teresa! :) Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and share.
One of my favourite cards! I absolutely love the clear cards and will try with my Easter cards. Going to order the 10 mil report covers now! Thank you so much for the inspiration!!
I hope you enjoy clear cards as much as I do :) TFW!
Beautiful cards. I love what you did with the Spring Market papers. I still have some of that pack left - going to see what I can make.
Thanks for watching and have fun getting crafty :)
This is one of my all-time favorite paper kits. Please tell me where I might find the pdf to recreate these beautiful cards! TIA
It is a great collection. The debut video with instructions to download is in the description box. TFW
I love love these cards. I haven't tried the clear cards but this makes me want to try. #qotv I really like watercolor cards for my special friends and family but also have been doing a lot of Stamped and die cut cards.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing :)
Someone told me several years ago that if you add a piece of vellum to the top side of your intricate embossing folder, it will keep your embossed element from being so fragile and open to tearing. I tried it and that worked for me. Open this tip helps you too. 🥰
Linda, thanks so much for sharing that tip. I will definitely have to try it. :) TFW
@@CallMeCraftyAl you just keep the vellum sheet with the embossing folder and use it many times
Oh my goodness, these cards are absolutely fabulous! You are so creative and I very much appreciate you sharing your wonderful talents with us 💖
Thank you so much for watching and your kind words :)
Alicia, I really like how you've shown a variety of ways to use your sheetload of cards for the month of January 2021. These cards with the clear acetate are just beautiful. I enjoy making cards that have layers for all types of special moments. #QOTV
Thank you so much for watching and your kind words :)
TFW
@@CallMeCraftyAl thank you so much yes that helps:)
I recognize that collection!! 😄 I absolutely loved it!! Great job!! I’ll have to check out that video about using clear cardstock! #QOTV If I can only pick one -Birthday! TFS!❤️
It is Such a lovely collection. Wish I had more. :) Thanks for watching Nikki!
Great idea to hold off on the sentiment until you know an occasion for the card. Thanks so much for watching and sharing.
