Omg this car makes a lot of power to spin all 4 like that is amazing
clutch kick nothing crazy. It has good torque and not much grip (these tires don't seem too grippy).
The boxer rumble makes it almost as good as a V8 sound wise. The driver is quite aggressive too, as breaking the rear loose and then exiting the corner flat out with the wheel set straight isn't as easy as it seems. Nice four wheel drifts, I enjoyed it a lot.
The golden rule to AWD loss of traction is simple.
Lead foot that MFKR and pray to whatever God will listen xD

As many of the comments have said, this guy has a lot of work to do to take better lines and get faster on track. You know what else is true though? This guy has a 1999 STI Gc8 and the commenters don't, so there's that.

it is great he is still alive after wild ride session with such a street-soft suspension
that suspension is too stiff you can tell by the wide turns and skipping tires around bends but all in all the power is so on point.
I have driven a few impreza chassis and in my opinion for track especially one with uneven surfaces mid corner, a good strut and spring is better than coilovers. Unless you open your wallet for a set that has really good and fast dampening with low rebound you will get tire hop. He was smart enough to disable the abs though which just exacerbates that issue

I just can't understand why people just criticize criticize criticize all the time. I know he's not very good at this whole "driving fast" thing but he's having fun and that's what cars like these were made for. Also have any of you heard of learning? He'll get better with time, it's not just you're born and then they sit you in the driver's seat and you're instantly Ken Block.

Not sure if i'd qualify that as "insane" looked more like he was actually finding the limits of the non abs brakes and limits of the cars traction under load in a corner. He must be able to steer quickly and surely has some skill because even when he suddenly lost traction mid corner it was a smooth recovery.

Awesome car and must be a serious engine build with the power it’s producing but the understeer is shocking, I own a gc8 and it also suffers understeer but it is possible to reduce it greatly with some suspension/antiroll bar mods

Hydrated Fenton yes, and it seems like the driver adjusted it perfectly. The best is 35% front and 65% rear.

Better suspension needed, car too high for that track. Timing attacking the corners would be very helpful. It putting down good power though.
