Guys, this is a podcast, a conversation! Which is something dynamic... its an interaction between 2 or more people. Im so glad I’ve came across this. I’m so fascinated by this conversation. Thanks for making this happen! ❤️👌
I dunno, not too sure I agree with all these comments. I'm about 2/3 way through this interview but thus far the host has been respectful and listens well. He does interject here and there with some comments and some information to not only keep it relevant to his channel, but also to ask some questions that slow down the conversation and ask for clarification for those who don't know either the terms or references. Without that, in my opinion, this interview isn't an interview. It's someone talking forever without an outsider's probe for context, it doesn't allow for an understanding of the story. Maybe the change of subjects causes a bit of a disruption to the overall life story, but think of newscasters or radio hosts, they have to do the same thing to keep things within a timeline. Host is trying to get the gist of the various aspects of the sub-stories without spending too much time on one lead. It's in our favour, to hear as much as possible about as many aspects within a certain amount of time. I mean, come on, this is 2 hours long. If host didn't direct and lead the conversation and topics, this thing could be 12 hours long - it's Mel's life we're talking about, there's really no limit to the storytelling unless you lived his life yourself. Chris - I think you've done a nice job. You've got to share your character and specific intent on your own dang channel in order for it to succeed - which is exactly what you are doing. Also. Mel is super well spoken and is considerate of the fact he is in an interview - I totally see mutual respect with this one and it has worked out nicely. For honesty sake, I could bite my tongue by the time I am finished at 2 hours, but I felt so strongly I had to comment now. We shall see :P
The interviewer needs to step back... As well, out of respect, he needs to stop referring to the Angels as a "gang" and learn to use the word "club" ps: I'm pissed we didn't get to hear the rest of the first story 🤯
Nothing erks me more then people referring to them as "bike gang". It really show's the ignorance of said people. Unless you have any personal experience with them keep your mouth shut!
I'll never forget as a 40 yr old man, my dad was physically abusive towards us kids (had a sister also). My aunt was very connected with a biker group which will remain nameless. My dad & mom were on drugs, one time he went to far, smacked her, & she got wind of it. I'll never forget sitting playing with the packs of the little green plastic army men I hear commotion look up & 4 giant bikers come walk past me grip my dad up under his armpits dragging him outside the house. Hooked him up to a car battery & started electrocutuhg him. "You gonna touch your wife or kids again" "Can't hear you what?" Only time I seen him cry my entire life. Made him apologize to us, he then left us the next day or 2. Probably the best thing that happened to us. Mom got off welfare got clean & went back to college. Today she's a director in a top rated hospital. One biker looked down at me smiling & said "Don't worry son, he's not going to touch you or your mom anymore". I wasn't used to adults being honest with me. So to many people they may seem like outlaws or bad people, but to me as a 9 year old boy they were my heroes. The abuse certainly would of continued. They saved me & my sister alot of pain & heartache we would of suffered over the years. Just my opinion & story. I never forgot what those men did for me. And I never, ever touched a woman or my kids in that way. The cycle ended.

Ripper Magoo yeah, there's such thing as poor interviewers. That said, people can learn.
Theres a multi part series on RUclips about hell's angels but its mostly George Christie but still awesome
I don’t know what anyone else is talking about but I was just blown away by how well spoken both of you are,I recently also had a spiritual awakening via the D E A abs homeland security raiding my and my best friends house simultaneously I was lucky enough to not have much by the time they got in my friend wasn’t so lucky, now he’s in the federal building in philly on kingpin charges and they told me this is my second chance,I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 5 I have a new Harley and some other bikes I get why u stopped riding but I use my bikes as therapy, and I love training ! My plans are to move to Florida in the next two years it would be an honor to meet u guys one day ! Great pod cast I can’t believe I actually watched all two hours!

re: Alfred J Kisi NSW Australia.
Couldn’t finish this, dude cutting him off non stop and not allowing him to finish any story was horrible. Could’ve been a 8 hour podcast and I would’ve listened to all of it if this host wasn’t ruining it
Stop cutting him off.
Agree
ON POINT!
Could have been a great podcast. This guy ruined the interview. He would cut this guy off on every interesting story and change the subject
Resonating with my own upbringing childhood teenage and early adult years this is truly Inspiring to hear two men who made peace with their past
Keep up the positivity bro the world needs more positivity in the midst of all chaos
Finished this podcast at the 14 minute mark..host killed the flow ..Mel seems like an amazing old soul ..can't wait for someone else to sit down with Mel
Who is being interviewed the interviewer is interviewing himself
I had to fast forward everytime chris started rambling on about himself. At least 30 minutes worth
DIDO!
Need time stamps lol
I did the same thing!
Such a fascinating guest. Terrible host in terms of getting more out of him. I could listen to this guys stories all day
I cant believe iv never hurd of him before today. Was hooked from start to finish.
You can only ask these guys certain types of questions, some questions you just don’t ask. Getting this guy to admit to being a former president of the hells angel is a huge accomplishment in itself. These just aren’t things that people openly talk about. Back in the day it was different everyone wanted you to know who they were. Not so much nowadays.
@@syndicatevlogs4565 absolutely correct. Its like the military. There's just some things you don't ask.
I wanted to hear more about the woman beater
Well there's only si much he can ask and say without telling one to many things about stuff, one of the best episodes of a podcast on RUclips take it enjoy it and shut the fuck up and have a good time
Thank you for existing Mel, much love
Loved this sit down !!! Very interesting
Joe Rogan please interview this man he is fascinating. Chris: watch joe interview.
yaniktube yeah. You’re right. 10 million subscribers are wrong.
Yeah you cannot claim that Rohan hogs the spotlight and ruins it. He engages in the conversation and doesn’t derail it. I don’t know why so many give Joe a hard time, his shows are always interesting, and he knows how to stfu.
@@yaniktube just wait til this guy is on rogan and listen to the difference
So I know you’re all in to biker gangs and what not, but what do you know about DMT?

The intro sounded like a report a 15 year old high school student wrote
Yeah you're cool
Yes, criminal glorification type of speech. Usual.
Worst intro ever. No self respecting MC would let anybody keep calling their club a gang. It’s it’s always OMC NOT OMG
Everytime I get into one of Mel's stories Chris opens his big mouth and ruins it. Let the guy talk.
Very inspirational and motivational interview. You guys are awesome. I have a positive change and transformation story ..this definitely hits home...much love and respect
every time the story starts getting good chris interupts

Is an amazing human. I met him twice, absolutely the most humble men ever!
Yea. He's a real cool motivating dude.
Idk if I’ve ever seen a host talk this much over a guest

Never heard of or seen Chris Cavallini before today and I watch a lot of this content on RUclips, so this is showcasing his channel to me. However, he almost lost me on that huge intro... It was genuinely awkward and hard to get through - super glad I did though because it was a great interview!
Look forward to watching more of this channel
Cheers!
All you need is a 3 second intro max on RUclips.
Very amazing story! Thank you very much for this! Much appreciated
The house story sounded like it was going to be interesting....
Hahahah so did the house beating ...
@@fukcserbia i want to know what happened!!
@@rookie90210 the interviewer fcked up big time there.
@@fukcserbia yes for sure. I want to know what happened. His buddy escaped out a window some how etc.

First time watching your channel and I love it! I actually watched this entire interview in one sitting, which is super rare for me. Well done - Great interview skills and great guest! God Bless
My Dad Knew him and several of the people he talked about in this video, we watched this & he told me alot of Stories wow!
My father was also a friend. I know him now, currently. And the stories they can tell will make you shit the bed. Such a group of badasses.

Cool guy, this interviewer is horrible.
I live a mile from a chapter of the hells angels in the UK. I was at a petrol station nearby the other week. Walked out after paying for my fuel to find about a dozen of them stood round my car. No word of a lie my arse fell out! I didn’t know if I’d cut one on off or what. Turns out they were just looking at my car. We had a brief chat and I left. Really nice guys. Intimidating as hell though!
Best piece of content I’ve seen in a while. Count me in on whatever.
every time he called Mel an "outlaw", I was waiting for pushback lol
More like every time he called clubs a gang....
They don't mind being called outlaws as they fully accept that word and encompass that's what they are.
The "gang" comment is what's not appreciated he should be using the word "club"
I knew a dude from the Outlaws. He’d get pissed as hell if referred to as a Hell’s Angel. I was curious why Mel didn’t say something, too. Just an observation.

Mel took his charges like a man as too not bring more heat on his club hats off to him if only more men were like him
The host acts so hard. Then goes on to say he got his first tat from a prison tv show 🤣
For real.. I was laughing so bad. He goes on and on about how cool he was getting arrested as a teenager. Never trust these dudes with man buns.
Tattoos became trendy & lame the moment US pigs were allowed to be sleeved...TBH I think its more outlaw to be sans tats...I buy them for Broads..ruclips.net/video/pvdLdDNrQxk/видео.html

Absolutely amazing interview. Would love to see him on the Joe Rogan Show
Guys, this is a podcast, a conversation! Which is something dynamic... its an interaction between 2 or more people. Im so glad I’ve came across this. I’m so fascinated by this conversation. Thanks for making this happen! ❤️👌
I had to fast forward to hear more of the person being interviewed lol
I tuned in to listen to Mel. Can’t finish interview.Guess why.
I’m out of here I’m going out back and watch the grass grow, grass never talks about itself.
Mel is one stand up dude took his sentence did not implicate anybody total respect for this man God Bless
The interviewer needs to step back... As well, out of respect, he needs to stop referring to the Angels as a "gang" and learn to use the word "club"
ps: I'm pissed we didn't get to hear the rest of the first story 🤯
what ru somekinda wannabe goof ? its a gang dummy , murder , violence , pushing drugs , extortion , prostitution ...need to hear more ?
It’s a club always was one and will continue to be a club so watch yourself and be careful who you call a gang it’s a club stupid
Ghost Darkfall it’s a gang lmfao
Nothing erks me more then people referring to them as "bike gang". It really show's the ignorance of said people. Unless you have any personal experience with them keep your mouth shut!

I was in A.R.M when the dispute between A.R.M and H.A broke out. I always had my head on a swivel when we rode through Rockford IL.
Woah crazy story man. Glad the hurt ended for you and your family.
