I feel really sorry for John - that lady he brought was so quick to say she only knows him through work. I wonder why he didn't have anyone closer to him who could help. I hope he has some family/ friends :(
People, please don't handle your precious metallic heirlooms with bare hands. The oils will cause irreversible damage over time. Wear nitrile gloves or (at second best) cotton gloves. Source: I work with Museum collections.
The wine is vinegar. It is not kept at the right temperature, nor has the cork been changed. (Cork needs to be changed every 20 years, to make sure it does not turn into vinegar.)
That was sweet when Allison was crying because she found something from the past and the woman sorry i don't know her name gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Ah!! I didn't know they were mother and daughter until i watched the full video right ok then it was still sweet.
haha- IDTA Millennium Award!?! My 3 sons had those too - learnt to dance with a local IDTA dance teacher, and had a big party/dance event for the Millennium. I still have a box full of their other dance trophies too - wonder how many of them are out there in the world!! :)
Strange. Only on my 3rd episode, and seeing repeats of items seen in other shows. Exact items. Hmmmm. Interested to see what the 3 bottle item he said was used on trains. Just saw exact item on previous show not sold at auction.
More of Paul, please...Such a multi-talented, kind and considerate person. Just what people need when they are going through their histories.
“Why do you have so many mattresses??”
“I sleep a lot” 🤣🤣🤣 what a character he is
The mother and daughter seem so sweet and lovely.

I think they have a closer relationship than that. Good friends. Maybe more.
The mother and daughter share such likeness

These hoarders claim that their stashes are valuable to them, yet they will have valuables jumbled together with trash.

There is no chance they went through the contents of their storage units in just 3 hours
The colleague, Chariday (sp?) was so cute and fun. I'd love to have a colleague/friend like that.
Fun? She seems like a complete deadbeat who didn't want to be there.

They look like sisters, not mother and daughter!
I thought so too! Many blessings to them!
That's extremely sad that people selling their family history like that!
This is not family history, they are THINGS, family history is made of memories and good experience.
What’s sadder is spending £15k storing items you never look at or use.
I live in Cambridge! Finally the show comes to our city! 😂
My dad's medals were STOLEN and he had the Burma Star!!!
Retailers are buying at half what they could get an item for so they can gain that same amount or more when they sell the item.
A fool and his (or her) money are soon parted

Got their money’s worth and then some, according to the people who run the storage units, I imagine,
wish i knew how pounds compared to U.S. dollars.
MaryCarol Canary It fluctuates, but on 5/29/20, one British Pound is equal to $1.23. 13,000 Pounds is about $16,000 American.
Just look it up online. As with any currency, it does fluctuate from day to day
