This is a really great programme, and as for Christ Church Oxford/Oxford Cathedral, what a rich heritage and obviously blessed educational/religious establishment, with an amazing and colourful history, typical of Oxbridge!
When you are as gifted a musician and choir trainer as Barry Rose you can make allowances. Certain stuffed shirts in the C of E took against him as he came from a working class background and did not have a university education (the way he was treated at St Paul’s for example) but Guildford Cathedral choir under him were absolutely incredible. He turned a new choir into one of the best if not the best in the country within a few yesrs
@TheSauce Group It's too late for that now. I had such trouble when I was 8 years old trying to get the stud through the newly starched eyelet. Had to chew it to soften it.
Brilliant organ playing!
