Imagine what we could have done over the past 25 years if we had an actual GM.
I think will McClay is the real GM, the problem is JJ thinks he knows what he's doing and he doesn't problem is JJ
Over the last 29 years ALL NFC teams have made it to the Championship game, EXCEPT 2… the Washington Clowns and my Cowboy’s. And I think it’s very possible we can be left solely alone after this season.
You all have your get over it. It is what it is. Spilled milk in my eyes. Most of our drafts have been excellent. Jerry is apart of that. He can’t help Sak big show up in playoff games then try to make an epic comeback. That’s a Dak problem, and that’s why he had to go.
@@mrchermondthomas Finally, the sensible voice in the room. NOTHING is going to change regarding the Jones' and their position of GM of this team. Will NOT happen.
Shame we cant trade the owner
The owner is A1, but he’s wrong for riding with a UDFA, and a 4th round draft pick for the last two decades.
The whole approach this off-season has been a media circus
Fisher, what's obvious? Yes, the brass is betting against Dak Prescott.
I would rather Fish ignore people than to hear him call people stupid... Man told bro to take out his crayon 🤦🏽♂️
I agree with you on this one. If they are not going to give him the big contract, trade him now and get something in return. Then see what you have with Trey Lance this season or be prepared to draft a QB early next years draft. If they are going to rebuild next year(2025), then thats even more reason to see what you have with Lance. I like Rush, but not as a full time starter, but i would try to keep him in backup role for whomever your starting QB is in 2025.
If they are not going to sign Dak, trade him now and get something for him. Start Lance this season and see what you have there. If hes not the guy, then you would know now while hes under the same system with Mike. Not the guy be prepared to draft QB early in 2025 draft. I say Prescott is a good QB but not worth $60 million because he doesnt do well in playoffs.
That's a shirt Mr. Fish. We suck, you suck, it sucks!😂
That slap dickery statement is a shirt too 😆
“Do it now”. Yes, we know, they know, they know we know, we know that they know we know, but they will get nothing done…
growing up in NY as a Giants fan , whereas, my dad was a tom landry fan bc of Giants and whereas, became a Cowboys fan as I. IF dak would become a Giant QB , I would totally become a Giant fan and disavow the Cowboys completely = after 30 years of Happy Horse Shit from JJ and company , just cant take it any longer. AND ty Fish for being completely REAL .
30 years haven't been that bad they won 2 Super bowls and numerous playoffs
Has anyone considered that this may be a Jimmy Johnson plan? To me, this is classic Jimmmy Johnson. Get it done or walk the plank.
You know you may have something there Jimmy has been silent. This sure sounds like the Jimmy Johnson that would cut the kicker for having asthma.
I agree completely, I don't think Jimmy loves dak but I bet he's sees Troy attributes but not nerve and talent
And Jimmy loved being young
thank you so much ... This is the best you've ever been - its not that i like the direction of the cowboys , but , I love honesty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dak best choice. Mic drop 🥸
Honesty is refreshing and a blessing...thank you fish! We're suffering from playoff derangement syndrome and we have lost our way.
Maybe the Vikings will give us another Hershel Walker type trade. 😅
Fish..you’re right on point. You can sum this vid up in one word - STUPIDITY. Our piss poor GMs have created a mess through STUPIDITY. Neither Jerry nor his son was ever “qualified” to be a GM - no other team would hire them for that position because they’re piss poor and incompetent. 🤡
Just look at our roster weaknesses...then look at the schedule next season. We will be lucky to go 8 and 9. We have got to get both lines upgraded.
You dreaming they go at tops 4 and 13
Yesterday report is that Cowboys intend on extending him, why is the story changing every day with no news occurring.?
Yesterday was the report that contract negotiations were being halted. Not sure where you heard Dak was being extended?
I am all in on a Dak trade!
I am too for Dak’s sake. He’s too good for the team.
That’s why all the great wrs want to come play for him lol
@@jjones317 exactly! Let him go somewhere else and win several Super Bowls, like Jerry says!
@@SG-pj5zl Dak is a stud!
@@jjones317You’re nuts. What has dak done in meaningful games against top level nfl competition… Shit the bed every damn time. Where the hell is dak going to go and win 12 games a year?? Titans, Raiders, Colts? I think not i pray we get to see so you dak fans would shut your mouths
Trade Dak and give lance a prove it year
At least we all as Cowboy fans can be less frustrated this year knowing that now we can realize that we are not competing for a SB and that we are weeding out average players looking to change the culture and attitudes in the locker room. There would be only one thing that would satisfy us all and that would be at the end of getting rid of these players is to get a Football General manager who will get the right players.
Who remembers when Jimmy said this? "... The No. 1 motivator (in the NFL) is fear. Fear of maybe letting down your teammates or being embarrassed or chastised or fear of losing your job. Where is the fear in Dallas? There is no fear in Dallas. It's a country club where everybody is buddies."
Dak is their buddy in the locker room.... He will never be Troy or Roger.... At some point they need to try and find "That Guy" again...
For all we know, the Cowboys love Lance without us noticing? Lance is 6"4 with a strong arm and has fresh legs. Or just maybe they are eyeing Manning from Texas, 3 years from now.
No nfl team is looking 3 yrs into future they may like manning but it's way to Early to consider him
Setting it up for Colorado QB Sanders next year
That is something that most Dallas fans and media is not even considering. They percieve Trey Lance as a bust, which is the farthest from the truth. Trey is as good or better than anyone they could get through the draft this or next year. The only disadvantage is that he would only be on his rookie contract for one more year. However, being that he has not seen much game time, they could extend him for a reasonable amount.
15:51 to 16:05 you cannot get that kind of insight anywhere else ladies and gentlemen FISHER knows his stuff 🍻 TREMENDOUS insider this guy is!
4 weeks ago I said this and was called a slappy 😂TRADE DAK
Is it possible DAL already has a trade partner at the draft? Somehow, that now seems to make the "most sense" based on their moves?
😂 most sense. In the years since Jerry has taken over, nothing he does makes the most sense
To bad they couldn't trade Jerry jones
Thanks 🐟
Fish jumped that ass too 😂 Mr black got that done on him by Fisher 🔥 ouch even I felt that one!
I wonder if the Jones are really entertaining a trade and working with a team(s) right now - behind the scenes ??
I know Jimmy isn’t involved at the moment but I would pay good money to hear that phone conversation he had with Jerry after the last game.
I still think that Dak is a good QB.
I think he needs a good QB coach.
However, they were Damm good the last three years.
At least they were in the playoffs.
Getting blown out was due to not having their head in the game.
A QB coach can help with mechanics, but not field vision or processing.
Where is the fan that say they are Cowboys fans and care the team over 28years we haven't had 12&5 three times in a row name one time DC4L.
Fish....finally you nailed it.....TIMING is everything and this was bungled by indecision!!!
Whatever happened to players play, coaches coach, and management managers?🤔
A month ago everyone was calling for Dallas to dump Dak, now it might happen and everyone is losing their mind.
Exactly
It's still alot of supposedly cowboy fans happy in the comments. They arent happy going 12-5 so they would rather go 5-12 and not make the playoffs
I grew up in Philly, worked in NY for 5 years, now living in the DC area. I got friends and relatives from all 3 fan bases. The next few years are going to be unbearable for me.
I wish the management of my Cowboys were Excellence Oriented, No Nonsense PR, and Committed to Greatness.
What we are now seeing is the Jones' inability to effectively manage an NFL team. Their practices of "sign players to MASSIVE contracts, restructure them over and over again" don't work. Kicking the can down the road actually catches up to them, eventually. We are seeing that this year with Dak Prescott. As a result, they can't bring in any help to get them closer to a championship. It's sickening, but it's just another day in the life of Jerry "All IN" Jones.
This is getting old how much our own feed the narrative contrary to Dak being here for the foreseeable future. All of this speculation and conjecture is just wasting air.
It’s time to move on from Dak
All real cowboys fans and honest analysts say the same thing
Move on buddy
Yeah, cus u know Romo is on the bench. Maybe they'll be able to draft the next Drew Henson, maybe Anthony Wright or even the next great Quincy Carter.
@@HezikyahBlackIsraelite on those teams dak had Quincy carter win at least two or 3 super bowls
Get Spencer Rattler in the 3rd round. Hopefully we can get a 4th or 5th for Trey Lance before the draft
The best guy? Parsons, CeeDee, Zak Martin and others are all way better at their respective jobs than Dak is at his... Also, if you don't think Dak can take you to the promised land, don't resign him. If they resign him, they just extend the period of irrelevancy for the team. No way is Dak worth $60M+... problem about the trade is Dak has to agree... if he's smart, he says no, makes $59M for one year, then can choose his own team next off-season. Dak really doesn't have an incentive to agree to a trade unless the team he's going to backs up the money truck to his house.
I’ve said this 3 years ago. “One of these people don’t belong here.” But I felt he could ride the bus then I realized he really believes he’s better than the first rounders and well you know the rest got in his and the teams way and fans blame us for his performance as though he wasn’t out there playing for the opposition and never cleaning up his mess.
THIS IS REAL! Thanks Fish
This is the issue with "fans" that live in a fantasy world that has "zero" cap ramifications and they don't want to see reality that Fish is showing you...if you can't handle it? Stay in your recliner with your cooler and stifle! Geez...yes, reality can be ugly sometimes, but learn to accept it and move on. Big D fans will get through this...Believe Dat!!!👍
Mike, I don’t recall the Cowboys being in this position in the past.
Cowboys should’ve been on the phone with the Saints yesterday!!! For the New Orleans Dak is an upgrade over Carr.
That’s what I’ve been saying. Don’t let him just walk for nothing. Get something for him if you’re really moving on. Jerry’s mouth says one thing, but we all see what’s happening. They just keep making this offseason worse.
With Dak's no trade clause that could be tricky?
Fish,
Ask Jerry where is his 🎉’checkbook ? Jerry said that we would not believe the size of the check to get another Super Bowl. I guess we will never see it since he lost his checkbook! 😅😅😅
Thanks for the reality check fish! It’s an uneasy feeling thinking of us moving forward without Dak! He’s one hell of a guy on and off the field
If they screw up and we lose our qb dont expect us to make the playoffs for a couple of years and on top of losing Ceedee and micah cause they gonna want out. We will be back to the drew henson and brandon weeden days.
None of this matters until Jerry talks to Dak about which teams he would be willing to be traded to
You can’t trade Dak he has a no trade clause
@@msdaisy2011frisky ur either a troll or an idiot...which is it?
@@msdaisy2011friskyare you ignorant or trolling?
How many yrs did it take for Peyton M to win a Super Bowl????
How long did it take Elway to win a Super Bowl???
Com on……..!!!! Who do we replace him with??????
Hey Fish these teams would’ve called if they were interested
Dallas main problem is Jerry.
Lmao when Fish calls out people 😂
Very good point
Been a fan since the mid-70's, but this has become a clown show. Jerry doesn't want a championship. He's strictly about free marketing of the BRAND. This off-season is ridiculous because they're not even trying to add the 3 to 5 pieces that's keeping the team limited. Dak isn't the problem. He simply didn't have a running game that could help him move the chains consistently enough to keep the packers offense on the bench. Even in a shootout, you need to keep the chains moving because I've never seen any of the greats play a full game needing only 3 downs per possession to score. We've got pieces, but we lack the pieces necessary to fully unlock our key pieces. That ain't on Dak, Micah, CeeDee, D-Law, or Zack. That's squarely, like the Federal Debt is to the President, all on Jerry.
You sound moronic grandpa
The Jones's are terrible . fan since 70 and this organization is a joke now.
@undisputedtruth4954 Brother, well said.
They've won 3 crybaby
I don't know what about this situation is hard to understand.
This whole time the Cowboys probably assumed that Dak Prescott would be reasonable and that they could come to some agreement on an extension.
From what we hear in reports Prescott is only willing to sign a three-year contract which is salary cap suicide and this is apparently forcing the Cowboys to change their plans.
I think Prescott is an excellent quarterback easily good enough to win a super bowl but no chance I would sign him to a short 3-year contract as it gives you no way to manipulate the salary cap
We need to let go , about all the Cboys , nothing is going to change as long JJ is the owner
All the cowboys podcasters are afraid of Dak leaving because he brings them views haha
#Pulltheplug 🔌
If they move on from a Current ALL PRO... that has sent then to the playoffs more times than not... the Jones would be idiots to trade Dak in his prime
Dak is his prime and still not getting the job done?
@@edfodrey6660 just like 31 other QBs? You make it sound like he's been dead last when he has at least made it to the playoffs more times than not (unlike about half the NFL). Dak hasn't won a Superbowl but how many other "great" QBs in this league haven't either? Maybe 4 QBs in the league currently have won a Superbowl. Then who are you going to replace him with? What about the dead cap hit if the Cowboys part ways? GTFOH 😂
Jerry is just fine with how the team is and being 5th or 6th in the NFC he has more superbowl trophys than most owners can even dream of and we are paying the price for it as usual .
Jerry doesn't want Lamb with over 2000 yards his contract will go sky rocket
Jerry should talk to Dak about joining the Miami Dolphins. Could probably get a few draft picks for him.
Carefully repeat after me: As long as Jerry and Stephen are running the team, another title will just be a dream.😂
Ok crybaby
Ok crybaby
Im willing to bet the young guys step up and they win at least one playoff game.
On the surface it seems like the entire Cowboys management team has succumbed to dementia, it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. GO COWBOYS!!!
I agree. Let him walk. But I thought he has no trade ?
How about just trading for 1st round in 25 & 2nd in 26...?
We're not going to be in contention this year anyways - so have a down year and hope we hit on a qb in 25...
Player salaries have gotten out of hand
It's all of this "we have to reset the market" bullshit everytime someone's contract comes due. Can you imagine if your job worked like that? The new guy who hasn't accomplished a tenth of what you have would make more than you just because it was his turn to get a raise..... just doesn't make sense.
I said the same thing, it's ridiculous how much they're making these contracts for, at some point a team has to step up and stop the madness of paying more
@@justinoswalt9028hey wait that is how my job works lol
I believe you can win big with Dak with the right pieces in place and felt adding a back like Saquon Barkley would’ve really been huge for Dak and the offense but the Cowboys are showing they don’t trust him anymore to make that kind of investment and like any marriage if there’s no trust you have nothing and might as well call it quits but unlike a conventional marriage the Cowboys can trade Dak and at least get something for him and let this rebuild begin for real ..Myself for what it’s worth believe the Cowboys should try and do just that
He has a no trade clause…Dak would have to agree.
Facts!! This conversation is a waste of time 😂
This is not lame Duck. A lot of teams are doing this they’re just not talking about it.
In order to trade a player, you have to find a team that wants him.
Its like the entire front office is bi-polar they want him they don’t want him. Dark times are here and ahead for us Cowboys fans
If this is what it takes to win let’s do it!! We’ve risked enough
Minnesota didn't pay cousins. Why would they pay Cousins 2.0 (Dak)
😂 how many times did cousin's beat Dak h2h?
Why not try trade him he's better than Russ right now get something for him anything a couple of 2rd picks with a 4th.
Minnesota did pay Cousins they just didn't re sign him ohhh but they paid him$$$$$ Big money!!!!
Dak owns Kirk and Kirk's best season didn't compare to Dak's MVP runner up, NFL 2022 Man of The Year and Led the league in TD passes! Dak don't take less money! Get All the money he can!
Sell the team
I think jerry is making a statement. You guys want all the money for yourself you play by yourself. Everybody can't be the highest paid player at there position on one team
Look at the Purdy situation
Could all this be possibly because Belichek will be the next coach clearing the decks
I feel an oft injured JK Dobbins is easily our best option out there rn. Aside from the draft that is…
You’d first have to get the players permission to shop him.
Panthers!!
I would love to trade him. The problem is he has a no trade clause so he would have to approve a trade. At this point I think he would probably just play out the season on the Cowboys and refused to be traded because I don’t think he really wants to help the Cowboys at all. He’s a very selfish player. It’s all about him. He is nowhere near the top quarterback in the league yet he wants to be paid over $60 million per season. Then he is going to cry about not having any weapons or any other great players. How many people does he think we can afford to pay? When you’re starting quarterback is making over $60 million a year it’s kind of hard to sign anybody else your own free agents. We might as well just get rid of everybody and start over again. Just keep CeeDee Lamb and on the defense minus Micah Parsons trade him instead of signing him to a huge contract. Stock up as much draft capital as possible.
I feel like even if you have a good team and you're consistently in the playoffs but you don't get to the super bowl sometimes it's better just to blow it up and actually build the team like it was built the last time we won
Well there are ALOT of teams that wish they could make the playoffs even once in a while that would LOVE to go 3 years in a row
@@chanciehalford9150 I'll be honest with you getting to the playoffs is not impressive to me. We are the Cowboys if it ain't the super bowl or if it's not at least getting to the NFC championship and showing progression then I'd rather blow it up and start over look how many teams blew it up and started over and already doing good. The Rams did it
I would love to see Jerry Jones let DAk sit on the bench if he doesn’t agree to be traded. Lance start at quarterback and see what he has. If he does bad, we get better draft picks the following season, and if you bench Prescott, he might demand to be traded instead of hold us over a barrel
I think you forgot about Denver
Mike you’re putting words in Jerry’s mouth! He never said Dak could win (us ) a Super Bowl, he said Dak is one of a group of Quarterbacks that could win a Super Bowl!!
I think Jerry did say he believed Dak would win a Superbowl?
For the other team.
I wonder what the Cowboys would be like if they hired a young Danny Amendola or Wes Welker type player.
Cleveland
What if Dak has a bad year??
no... new taxes...no... NOT ALL IN..GEEZ JJ Come on
The problem isn't Dak it's the insane contracts. Every player wants to be highest paid. The cap goes up and instead of spreading the wealth in the ultimate TEAM game, every star player says, "me, me, me. More, more, more". NFL should blow up the overly manipulated cap and reset with a hard cap, more like hockey. The average yearly pay is the cap number. No more bonuses and defferals
When Dak is winning games he's the best quarterback but when he losing he's trash thats what all the so call fans be saying...I'm with Dak til they get rid of him cause it ain't nothing that we can do about how Jerry Jones runs his team...just gotta roll with the punches and it is what it is#DC4L💙
What about Denver.
Tell them Fish, some don't get it.
You never can tell this might be the year hahaha
If the boys totally suck this season and still fill att stadium,Jerry will never try to have a great team ever again
You fell for the whole thing they want you talking about it and you are
Dak can go and play well and win a superbowl with another team and I would say… good for him. TO BAD HE COULDN’T DO IT WITH THE COWBOYS!
Per Josina Anderson and her insiders she just put put that Cowboys front office will NOT let Dak leave and will finalize a contract before the season starts. She's pretty credible and i believe Dak will be extended when there all in Oxnard.
Josina Anderson makes up stories you want the truth stick with true Dallas cowboy reporters
