It’s amazing to ride, old school gearing on a 20% climb kills the legs though.
I have a 1986 mk 2 in the shed i need to rebuild.
Be worth it mate, rides as good as a modern day bike.
It may read 1983 with the frame numbers but it’s a mk 2 1984 model.
Would you happen to have a spare mk 1 sales brochure that you start the video with that you would sell me please?

Where would recommend I get parts from, looking to buy this said bike for £200 in fairly good nick.
Hi mate, I got gumwall tyres, outer and inner cable set from chain reaction cycles, saddle and brake blocks from eBay. I already had all the service stuff but this bike was in very good condition so didn’t need a lot just some TLC. Good luck with the bike I will never sell mine now.
Nice. I just purchased one my self. Unfortunately the seat pole is stuck in the frame

Tell you the truth I’m an anorak and only go after original stuff.
I have a MK 2 original and two MK1 all original pushbikes and would like the original sales brochure for the MK1’s
