    I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7L 4wd with 250K miles. Still runs perfect. Other than the secondary bypass pumps tripping the codes (you can bypass those with a kit) I've had exactly zero problems with the truck. The 2020 Tundra is basically the same truck with different styling (and 10's of thousands more) I plan on getting 500K from my truck God willing. Great trucks! No need to upgrade.

    That is the cleanest truck ever!! That guy never took it out of the garage for interior and exterior to be that perfect! The frame has zero rust or oil dripping!

    By installing that additional hitch, you reduction his payload and towing capacity. The stock tundra hitch is design for the max tundra capacity already.

    Personally I would have replaced the front shocks after having to do all that work, love the Alpine

  • @scott1564

    I'd love to do this with a late 2000s/early 2010s Tundra. I may not do all the tow stuff on there, but I'd level it, change all the speakers, upgrade the head unit as they did to add BT, Nav, and BU cam, either leather the seats and new carpet or just clean the snot out of what's there. I'd settle for a level job but with new shocks/struts (whatever is needed) and new tires and wheels. But I'd also ditch all the chrome and go black. Then, I'd do a serious paint correction, primo bed liner, install a good bed cover, necessary and cool looking step/boards and call it a day.

    I just bought a 07 tundra with a 5.7 a month ago and its been the best truck ive ever owned. ( had a 04 v6 before great truck) i love the truck for towing as its the best handling under a heavy truck ive owned. ( been driving a chevy 2500 with a 6.0 but its a completely different in every aspect) the only upgrade i have planned is a in dash with a camera. I loooooove my toyota and likely will never sell it

    I have the same truck 2007 Tundra Limited with 210k miles on it, it’s in great condition still, but could use some upgrades like this and the undercarriage could use some TLC thanks to Minnesota winters. Unfortunately I can’t afford it, but this is awesome.!

    I would upgrade the shocks,front adjustable struts for a level ride, I use air bags on rear with TRD anti sway bar, towing is great.

    I bought my '07 5.7ltr double cab SR5 this past July with 131K on the odometer. Upgrades so far, Kenwood deck, Rockford Fosgate speakers (doors: front & rear), a drop-in K&N intake air filter, AVS hood wind/bug deflector and in-channel window vent guards. Next summers TTD: Stainless steel JBA headers & Corsa catback exhaust, coilover suspension. Just now getting used to her 'in your face' red exterior. After several weekend, 3-4 hour trips up to OKC, down to Houston, pack mule duty for a wedding & daily trips to work & back, I've realized this is my favourite truck of all time. Extremely comfortable, accelerates like a rocket and runs as smooth as silk. I highly recommend this as anyone's next preowned truck purchase. I'll drive mine til she desinigrates. Average mpg, 16.5. JCM. Hillsboro, Texas.

    Why would they put another trailer hitch on the tundra when it has the factory one already and it's over built?

    • @chrisgleeton6823
      @chrisgleeton6823 5 лет назад +4

      Yeah, I don't get that. Tundra Factory hitch is already plenty beefy, and is mounted to the frame very securely, too.
      That silly little leaf spring doo-hickey seemed very rickety and quite useless. Certainly not something I'd put on my truck. If I was looking at increasing the stability of the truck under load, and reducing squat, I would look at a set of helper airbags.

    Couldn't agree more about the interior and other things about this tundra and my 2013. It always takes a chevy or dodge guy to use the tundras suck they are old. Lol what more do you need in a teuck? Ots a truck and not a luxury sedan or crossover. I swear truck buyers today are like woman lol they want all the bells and whistles in a damn truck. It has a bed for hauling and tow hitch for towing and 4wd for challenging roads. Sorry it doesn't have something special to blow you off while you drive it. SMH.

    We hate the Bluetooth on my car. My wife had connected her phone to it for a road trip. Then after the road trip we noticed that her phone would automatically connect to my Bluetooth. This got really annoying when we would take separate cars to an event. And we would go to drive off. And her phone connected to my car. And she was in hers.
    We disconnected her phone and haven’t used it since.

    • @Luckingsworth
      @Luckingsworth 3 года назад +1

      Low mileage? Who the fuck cares? The whole point of getting a Tundra is that is will last forever. Million miles drive trains. Pick up one that looks taken care with higher miles. Low mileage isn't always better. This is a 14 year old truck now. If it had any less than 140,000 miles i would begin to worry it wasn't driven regularly and the seals are starting to crack.
