I got three things when I was sick: Saltines, Seven Up, and Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. Meds were Tylenol, Aspirin, and Chloraseptic. Thermometers were always glass that you had to shake down first. A hot water bottle that got really cold really fast or the cat were my heating pad. Camping on the couch with a blanket and watching channel 9 (PBS) were the best set up for entertainment purposes while staying home from school sick because Sesame Street, Mr. Rodgers, and Bob Ross were better than soap operas.

Morning coffee or mourning coffee?
+Arthurian Historian I pronounce these words differently but looked them up after you asked. Apparently they should have the same pronunciation. So, is the correct pronunciation "mor-ning" or "morn-ning"? (I say "morning" with the former and "mourning" with the latter. Or am I fooling myself when I think I hear a difference?)
+Julia Mak even when trying to say them differently, mor-ning and morn-ning still sound identical to me
+Arthurian Historian If we go by previous John Green books, it's definitely mourning.
+racecar palindrome The "n" sound feels a tiny bit longer to me in "mourning". But it's probably just me. I used to think "career" and "Korea" sounds different too.
