IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
All character guides up until now have used the 30% energy share value from the CBT2 - however, this was changed in the live version and is now 50%! This means, for MOST characters the ER requirements mentioned in the sheets and videos are wrong to a certain degree! I will add this same post as a pinned comment to ALL my videos and I have privated the verina guide. ALL OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THE VIDEOS IS CORRECT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE!
For ENCORE, the ER requirement is now around 0-10%, and you are likely to get at least a single ER substat roll anyway, which means the guide is still very accurate!
For all other characters, I will have to redo all my calculations to find out the new ER requirements. However, I do want to emphasize ONLY the ER requirements are off!
AGAIN, ALL OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THE VIDEOS IS CORRECT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE!
I expect all ER requirements to be around 5-10% lower for most units and around 10-20% for higher cost units like verina, baizhi and jianxin.

@@whiteangel3824 it can be like all characters actually but i saw that works better as a sub dps. But its also true that investing in rover will be a good inversion bc it will be eable to swap elements in the future.

I really love female Rover's design (especially her hair highlights which isn't on the male one?) but my personal favorite so far both in terms of design and character is Stelle of HSR. I love that silly, dumb, trash-loving raccoon. No thoughts behind those golden eyes. 😂
i think my immediate advice for future guides is that it would be very helpful to show a demonstration of the optimal combo on the actual character after the icon guide. its hard to visualize what we're supposed to be doing with just the guide, so the guide plus a literal demonstration would be nice (i understand that the game is not out yet so this is just any cbt2 footage of rover you already had and thus couldnt necessarily do this for this video)

Yes I will certainly do that for guides coming in the future, but without access to the game currently I can only go off CBT2 footage sadly :/ And I have quite some big channels to beat hence the first few guides will likely also not fully include that. Thanks for the comment and suggestion

@@RumiRHood I never got that sense. She handles situations well, and there was never a moment when "plot armour" saved her. Her main power is the fact she is immune to the Storm, and goes out to save arcanists and sometimes humans.

So basically for the rotation you just gotta press right -> right -> up -> down -> triangle -> triangle -> left -> square -> cross -> cross -> triangle -> down -> down -> circle all the while paying attention to the enemies moves and dodge/parry their attacks. Got it. Easy Peasy.
me personally, imma main rover till 1.1. my team will most likely be rover, yangyang and whoever i get in 50 pulls on the beginner banner. i will be saving my free 5 star selector until 1.1 where i will then use it after pulling for jinhsi or changli.
btw for those wanting some guidance, id recommend that you use ur beginner banner before the 5 star selector so that u dont get dupes of a character. id be even better if you are willing to wait to use the selector only AFTER pulling on a time limited banner so that even if u lose 50/50, u can still get 2 new characters (hopefully)
tldr: save ur 5 star selector until u pull ur first 5 star

@@acbphoneix2157 the selector is only for standard banner characters (jianxin, verina etc). you will not be able to use it for time limited characters such as yinlin. sorry

So many terms I need to familiarize myself with; concerto, resonance, forte I need a WuWa glossary.
I’m playing this game with rover as my main. Now I’m currently union level 30 and lvl 15 echo so now I’m farming gold echoes. Rover is pretty cool especially in specter class. Just for the sword sheath animation.
Spectra rover's outro skill is a good setup utility for sanhua's intro-skill-liberation/heavy attack burst combo as rover's outro holds the target in place for 3 secs -- allowing sanhua to generate her icicles which she breaks with her heavy attack for burst damage.
bro, I have no idea what the combos mean yet - you said so many things that went over my head and it surprised me when it was actually only less than 7s onfield. Looks to me like this game has some really min max rotations, I love it.
Honestly speaking because of this design and the grindy nature of farming for echoes... I feel like this game would see much less success than the obvious competitor, but I dunno as long as it caters to it's player base then I will be sure to play it for a long time.
i have no clue what any of this means i need someone to make a video explaining it in like beginner beginners terms. i played genshin for maybe 2 weeks but i didn’t know how to build characters so i dropped it but im so invested in this story and the characters in wuwa 😭

I didn't really follow much about WuWa before playing because I didn't get into the betas and kind of wanted to keep the surprise. I'd seen some character designs and started playing mainly to pull for Yinlin, but after playing for a few minutes I found myself super down bad for female Rover. So glad they're pretty good in both (current) attributes, probably going to be using them for a long time.
I'm missing 2 of the wavebands for rover and I have done the whole story and gotten all the sonar casket things and the guide book is 100% what do I do?
The only but i have for this one... The combo sounds a bit complex and visual aid would be welcome.
But being released before launch, its understandable.

I love how versatile their kit is, on top of a very good design and huge potential with future elements/abilities. I hope WuWa manages to keep the MC relevant with all elements and not "weak version of the archon" (if you know...) or simply useless in some elements.
I can see myself using them as main DPS starting out, moving to pretty decent sub with the added healing later on. Good stuff!

@harfi212 What tier list you looking at? Rover, especially at high eidolons, is the most easiest A tier character ever. Reslly good but obviously no S or S+ 5 star limited unit

I plan on going for Verina, hopefully right off the begginer convenes so i can go for Jianxin in the selector. I think ill be skipping the early event banners. There is no way the initial characters wont be powercrept, and im assuming i can clear at least 70% of the content with 4 stars and the MC. Im gonna have to watch this guide around 12 times to understand half of it, and it will probably help to actually play the game. I have the day off work when this releases. Really hope the servers hold.

What is Resonating Echoes, which is mentioned in Forte Inherent Skill Reticence?
I can pre download it tomorrow but on 23 the server will be open to my region I'll just wait. I will not over think the build I will just feel and enjoy killing the mobs collecting material and side quest mini games then try to get the free resonators.

Yes, actually we also use Rover as a Hybrid for Danjin in our calculations as well!

looks like i need a master for remembering those combos LoL is there nothing which comes close to, where you dont need to remember 15 steps? Edit: maybe give alternative rotations, which can be played a bit easier (of course it results in a bit lack of damage, but iam not 20 anymore xD)

Excellent guide and now subbed. Just to note a few things with regards to pronunciation: Forte is pronounced FOUR-tay. Concerto is pronounced con-CHAIR-toe. Many of the content creators are making these mistakes you can be the first to do it right ;)
EDIT: Wanted to add: Thank you for actually showing us the difference in dps between different echo main stats.
Yeah most people are mispronouncing these words wrong and it scares me that it’s been so long that people are just gonna keep mispronouncing them.

the guide was not very clear to be honest, specially in the echo part. you didn’t mention suggestions of echoes for the echo skill, nor did you clearly list the main stats for the echoes (like you did for the substats). yes, you did put the picture of an excel sheet, but it wasn’t clear if that was a full build or even the proper build for rover.
I also think it would be helpful if at the end you did a quick summary of the full build, specially by showing tables and/or illustrations instead of just speaking. it can help with following what you are saying

"Fort curcurit" gets me every time. For-teh cir-kit is.
"Fort" is "correct," even if it is not how the word is commonly pronounced in U.S. English. Forte meaning "strength" is not the same word as the musical forte meaning "loud." It is French for the strong part of a fencing blade, and the most correct pronunciation is without a second syllable. And yes, the French pronunciation wouldn't normally include the "t" either, so we're meeting at a British middle-ground. Forgive the lecture--merely calling you on this because you were inaccurately calling him on it. :-)
WuWa uses many references to musical terms and themes, so the musical definition and pronunciation is correct in this case

Why bother put excell data if you gonna make the text unreadable.
Forte is pronounced with most of the stress on the second syllable. For-TEh. The E isn't silent.
Like so many terms in WuWa it comes from music theory and in this case means loudly or strong in Italian.
If it helps, you can pronounce it like you would in German and it should sound about right.
Rover is done justice in this game unlike Genshin where NC is weak in gameplay and an absolute pushover in story.

You realize there's a gender choice at the start of the game, right? It keeps throwing me off hearing you refer to Rover as "she" and "her" when most people refer to them as they, I keep thinking you're talking about one of the other characters during the team building segment.
Good video but please look up how to pronounce the terminology correctly (ie. concerto, forte, etc.) You're not saying them right and it definitely makes your video less credible.
Tip: Just google "how to pronounce WORD"
