Great Job!! I bought out the lease on my wife's 2020 X3.... I took the car in for Dealer warranty work before it expires and they wanted $700 to do a "Service Inspection" which was due in 100 miles. When I declined (Had to pay $$$ for inspections year earlier-Florida Law- when bought the lease out) she said the Service light would be coming on and I wouldn't be able to turn it off Thanks to you... It is now RESET!!

My X4 M40i worked by just pushing the trip button to cycle through. Thanks for the video!! Out of curiosity, my brake rear pads had to be changed and I don't even have 40K miles on it. Anyone else have this issue? Brimbo brakes should last longer than that!
@@THEDriverMod_ Was finally able to get that off...and now the front brake pads is giving me a notification, and had them checked. Not needing replaced at this time. How do I get that to shut off? I have tried all this, and it worked before for the rear brakes, but it won't for the front for some reason. Says reset unsuccessful.

I was wondering have you ever experienced something like that? The car is working excellent and there is no sign of problems whatsoever. I saw the light 30 minutes after I made a software update if that matters.
Also you cant have any other warnings such as Low fuel , Low tire pressure or low washer fluid it will continue to interrupt this process and you’ll fight yourself wondering why its not working
Can you show an oil change for an X5 G05 3.0 liter? Is the drain plug located about center middle at the parallel of the rear part of the front tires? It holds about 6.9 quarts? Thanks! Love your videos.
It does hold 6.9 qts, I no longer work at that dealership so it may be awhile before I can make a video. Unless you are located in Central Florida because then we could make the video on yours!
Same process as in this video, once the service menu is brought up, push the small black button on the stalk to cycle through the service menu and the push and hold on the rear brakes
Greetings, I tried to reset the vehicle check light but i am unable to get past the diagnostic mode screen. I hold the BC button for up to 40 seconds and nothing happens. I have a 2020 530i sedan. Your help wpuld be greatly appreciated.

My Son-In-Law. replaced my rear pads with Brimbo and the sensors as well. He had no special tools, but it was quite a job to do he said. Their BMW 540 Sedan is easier. I reset my light from watching this video. 😊
@@THEDriverMod_ see the oil light has gone off and on the digital service oil is reset but the micro filter is still on because i didn’t do it from BMW so they didn’t reset the micro filter
Like I stated, it is tied in with the oil service, if you reset the oil service indicator, the filter is automatically reset with it. If it's still there, then the oil service wasn't not completely or properly reset
@@Jackymartin6557 no, you have to replace the battery and then register it to the vehicle. The alarm only goes off when the battery is weak and needs replaced. There's nothing you can do to reset it.
Hi, Any idea on how to reset the Brake light on a BMW X6 G06. I’ve tried this and the menu that pops up is similar. However while toggling through the options there’s no option to reset the brake light. What am I doing wrong?
@@THEDriverMod_ the brake sensor has been tripped as when starting the vehicle it says brakes with an exclamation mark. The pads and sensors have also been changed. So this is why Im totally confused?
I took my 2019 X5 to the BMW dealership for an oil change. Now every time I start the vehicle it says service due 6/2022. It was serviced today so why does the message keep popping up every time I start the vehicle?
Maybe it's due for it's brake flush, brake pads or vehicle check service. If it's just the vehicle check service, you can use this same procedure to reset the light

Yea, you have to be on the correct trip counter for it to work

How do I get rid of the “service due” message that pops up when you start the car? I have a 2014 x5 35d.
Use this same process to get into the service menu, then scroll through the menu and reset the services that are do once they are performed

Try resetting the vehicle check first or if it's for the brakes, the wear sensor may be worn through

Yes, you mist replace the sensor if it is worn through or you won't be able to reset the light

This is weird because cluster unit is designed round. Mine is a 2020 BMW 330i base model. The lights won’t stay on when I push 3 times
