- Here is a quick tour of Adventure Ocean on Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas.
The Ages 6-12 sessions on seas days were:
9am - 12pm
2pm - 5pm
7pm - 10pm
10pm - 1am ($10/hr charge)
We did not use Adventure Ocean while in port, but I believe they were open all day.
My son loves Adventure Ocean and the one on Icon of the Seas is no different. However, it is not for every child. We personally had no issues at Adventure Ocean (barring the Roll Call waits) and my son really enjoyed his time there.
Important to note, about 60-75 minutes after each session starts that do a Roll Call and they shut down for all sign-ins and sign-outs. Try to avoid these times if you do not want to wait. Ex. don't go around 8:15pm.

I picked that location based on your video 😀 I’m in 9289 but no view of the ocean from there and don’t know if the sunglasses on top of that shop is gonna obstruct view either. I can’t wait to see your vlogs to hear your thoughts. I don’t think I would mind that long walk to the back if I could get views of ocean at least. My notifications will be on!😀 It’s my mom an I no kids she has vertigo so that’s why was so torn.
We could see the ocean a little from our balcony but it’s not like seeing it direct. Even the ones all the way by the end.
The sunglasses would be a concern, however, for us, it wouldn’t bother us. I think it’s a personal preference. This ship is huge. Being close to the elevators is nicer than you might think. We were assigned the last cabin on the row and moved as close as we could get to the elevators
I've been debating a Surfside Balcony the only location is on deck 9 or 14. I'm on deck 9 the first cabin as you enter Surfside. I'm wondering if I should stay there, or move to the back of deck 9 surfside to have an ocean view. The other option move to an Oceanview Balcony on deck 12 midship for only $ 184 more total. I'm concerned about motion but I'll be taking the seasickness pill. I hear there is more movement on this ship no matter where you are. Your thoughts?
Absolutely stay there!!!!
We would have loved that cabin. The convenience would be incredible. Two decks down is surfside and Surfside Eatery has a full breakfast buffet every day. The basics but enough for us. Plus one deck down is Central Park.
We were in 9729 and liked it. But would have loved to have been that first stateroom.
And yes, we felt more movement on this ship than ever before. Never got sick though. I’m not prone to seasickness, but I have gotten seasick. And for that reason alone, I would stay where you are at.

How much time throughout the week do they give you when you sign your child up? On wonder of the seas they gave 12 hours
No limits for 3 and up. Only the nursery has restrictions
