- A common question I often hear is whether or to book a guarantee stateroom? And there really is no right or wrong answer. A lot depends on your wants and needs in a cruise stateroom and what your priorities are. For many people, they would NEVER book a guarantee. For others, location of their stateroom does not matter and always book a guarantee if available. And for families like our own, it really depends on various factors. Is the cost savings minimal or significant? Etc.
So today I share with you some pros and cons of booking a guarantee (IGT, OGT, VGT) stateroom on Disney Cruise Line. Some of these tips could apply to other cruise lines, but I made this video thinking specifically of DCL.

I've had good luck with guarantee rooms. My last guarantee room was a guarantee veranda, I was put just below Cabanas on the Dream which was very convenient. On other lines I likewise have had good luck. I book guarantee rooms without worry personally.
Us too. For us, the savings is worth it. But I also mentally prepare for the worst stateroom possible in that category so anything better is a bonus.

I didn’t film that look. But I remember doing something simple since that video was focusing on the glossy balms and I try to use products from the same brand . But there’s a short I did using the Hourglass snake palette and it’s pretty much the same technique

Aww thanks. I need to watch it to jog my memory. I have a beauty channel and I often film looks there first and then make videos for this channel.
So this look was when I filmed the Hourglass Glossy Balms video. On my eyes are the bronzer from the Leopard Palette and Scattered Light in Foil. Very simple and easy look and no actual eyeshadow palette.

What is your recommendation for a resort studio theme park view? I requested a high floor, but wanted to get your thoughts on preferences there.
It was. I’ve been meaning to make a video about Big Pine Key but just haven’t had a chance. I think if you are paying for a view, then yes, I would request a high floor. That will give you the best view of the fireworks etc.
I've been on 23 Disney cruises, and just booked the Fantasy for October. Most of my reservations have been guarantee, and I've had no complaints. You do save a lot of money.

I just got my room assignment on the Dream and my GTY room is going to be 6001 we are excited because it is a much bigger interior room and we got a great deal! We are a bit far forward but that will be ok for us.
That’s an accessible room I think. So no tub or split bathroom but much more space. I would be happy with that assignment too
