I watch so many of your videos of all sorts…..you definitely are not lazy:)
LOL thanks. It’s crazy what people will say in comments
Ugh….my mistake was using a travel agent. I did way more research than the agent and they were always busy so an opportunity to save $ I was waiting to get a hold of them when I could have just done it myself. 100% would rather book on my own and will never use a travel agent again or recommend one! If you are someone that is well researched, you can do it better and more efficiently on your own!
Well that’s the second part of #1 and that is getting the right travel agent. But yes, I had a similar experience with an agent once and I couldn’t wait for the cruise to happen and be over so I never had to try and reach them again.
Do you consider going to AAA going to a travel agent?
@@Redwhiteblue-gr5em not really because you aren’t going to get one on one service. Same with Costco. When I speak of a travel agent, I mean a specific individual that you can contact directly if you have questions or run into a problem.
@@ShannonFordthank you for all the great tips. I’ve never been but cruising is on my bucket list.
@@Redwhiteblue-gr5em happy to answer questions. We love cruising as a vacation because it’s very easy. We also love the free childcare ;)
Great video!!! Im with you. We like mid ship right by the elevators. I wish i could stop my wife from over packing. We have 8 suite cases on every 7 night cruise just plain ridiculous. 2 are mine the rest are all hers. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
I'm going to try and film a "what I am packing" video before our cruise in 3 weeks. My problem is always, I end up packing at the last minute that filming is the last thing on my mind.
@ShannonFord well hopefully this time you'll be able to do it. Looking forward to it.
RE: prohibited items, do they let you bring bottled water, soft drinks and snacks? Also if you eat at a restaurant offshore, can you bring the leftovers back? Thanks again
Bottled water and soft drinks yes, but there is a limit and you have to carry it on. Snacks, typically yes if they are pre-packaged. We did this for my son when he was younger. I would just double check with whatever cruisline you are sailing.
As for bringing back leftovers, I’ve never tried it but I am pretty sure it wouldn’t be allowed.
