@MrRookitty agreed^-^ you should look up chat rooms of western visitors and english language teachers in Japan. you'll definitely find mixed messages of Japanese culture. Unfortunately as efficient as they seem it's not easy to engratiate yourself into becoming part of the japanese people. They don't take very kindly to foreigners since their way of thinking is mostly group styled. It's more of "we are the japanese" not "I am my own person" kind of thinking as it is in the U.S.
