Those things Joez said at the end about Stanton are FACTS not “rumors” or “theorys”. He’s a detriment to the roster unless he’s KILLING IT with the bat.
I feel bad for Torres. It can’t be easy to focus on the process & not results when you’re in a contract year and failure to put up above average numbers will cost you tens of millions of dollars.
Not to mention the ability to continue to play for the team you want to play for.

We’re in May and judge is one at bat away from hitting below .200. Somethings wrong.
You maximize Dominguez’s reps in AAA. Bringing him up to be your 4th outfielder that can rotate, spell guys, run for Stanton as early as the 5th inning. That allows you to include Trent Grisham in a trade for IDEALLY a lefty bench slugger. That’s one thing really missing from this team.
id say trade Grisham for pitching. the lineup would be fine
I think it depends on who’s cold at that point. If Stanton is cold he’ll get pushed to the bench, if Dugie is cold he’ll get pushed to the bench. Judge and Soto are guaranteed 2 of 4 spots so it just depends which 3 fill out those final two and I would just go with the hot hand
While Stanton has surprised me with his productivity so far he’s gotta keep it up & improve to keep his spot over Jasson.
Jasson adds such a dynamic element that would take this lineup to another level.
We can’t let loyalty to Giancarlo prevent how stacked our lineup would look with him in there
If the only concern was winning as many games as possible, the obvious decision would be to make Stanton a left handed platoon hitter and have a revolving door at the DH spot with Dominguez + the 3 starting outfielders since it’s fucking insane to have an everyday DH with a sub 800 ops and the running speed of CC Sabathia in 2018. But since that’s not how the Yankees operate, they’ll probably just stick Dominguez in the minors and wait for someone to get hurt to avoid making a tough decision
To be fair to the Yankees that’s how MLB teams operate. I am hard pressed to think of another team who cut bait with a player they’re paying that much $$$$

The most likely scenario, as much as I dont want to say it, is Stanton goes down with a hamstring or groin injury before Dominguez is back. Either that or Jasson has a cold start in his rehab and is optioned

Yes it’s frustrating when they don’t get guys in with RISP but perspective is important.
The stats go to show that the fan base goes off of vibes and Judge being bad + leading the league in double plays makes it seem like we're bad. We just are not. Improvement is great but like, if we're going to give Judge slack for this start, the team deserves some slack.

Not that judge hasn’t earned the slack of course he has, but so has Torres yet always gets shit on.

Dominguez role needs to be saving this team. Yankees 3-6 hitters are BRUTAL! From bad to worse. Poor Soto. The guy stands on first all game long.

DH (terrible)
1B (terrible)
RF (amazing)
LF (meh)
3B (terrible)
Sure Torres, Wells, Judge arent hitting. But 60% of the actual offensive-first positions we're inexcusably awful

I'll give gleyber a standing ovation when he's finally playing garbage defense for someone else. I don't think this team is ever going to win with Gleyber and Stanton in the lineup on a regular basis.
We had energy guys but they stunk so their energy was weird. Mainly Donaldson.
Dominguez brings so much more to the team than Stanton
They have to play Jason when he's ready, so sick of them battling Stanton cleanup or 5th every damn game. He's shot, and has been for 2.or 3 years. Please, diminish his role and buy out the contract soon, this is ridiculous. Another idiotic move by jerk Cashman. This guy can't hit, can't field, can't run and clogs up the DH spot. They will be so much better when he's gone. Missed that pitch last night by a foot and a half, just embarrassing. Enough already.
If Stanton takes major at bats from Dominguez this year I’m gonna be furious. And it’s probably gonna happen

Dominguez 4 homers in 8 games with 2 vs pitchers that have dominated Yankees steady .Verlander and Javier.
Have Jason take over Stanton and that frees up the DH spot. Verdugo, Judge , Soto can have one DH spot per week and have Dominguez in the outfield 3 out of 6 games per week. Have Jason DH 1 game per week. This way you have him play 4 out of 6 games per week. Get Stanton on the bench. He is absolutely terrible
It's not that complex. If Dominquez forces their hand he will get called up. You rest the regular outfielders more (including Dominquez) and you steal games from Stanton.
We need to trade Torres and Stanton for speedsters

why aren’t more people talking about how much trent grisham sucks? he has a 0.80 average and i don’t think i have ever seen him get a hit. also not great in CF, i just don’t understand why he is in the lineup.
