I got your style of heating pad. Holy Smokes, I have used a lot of them, but this is hands down my favorite! The cover is soooo soft, like snuggling with a bunny.
I never thought of a basket, what a fantastic idea!! The stick-on heat pads are great. I've also used Salonpas pain relieving patches, Tiger Balm or Biofreeze. A scarf keeps my neck warm. I don't wait for a flare, I ALWAYS wear soft clothes and if it's cold out, two pairs of pants is a MUST - it helps a lot!! 😉
Another suggestion was to get a small trolley on wheels so you can wheel it to where you are which is a great idea! All my clothes have to be soft too, but I like extra soft on flare days! 😉
I love this, Nicola! Looks like we've found basically the same stuff helps us! The only thing I haven't got is a heating pad so I'm going to look into that: thank you for the link! I'm about to go on Amazon to grab some other bits so perfect timing! xx
Brilliant idea Niki very organized way of keeping it all to hand. I have a heat jacket I live it .as I have serious bk pain and it covers all my bk. Also have the neck wrap equally as good for the neck .just need a lovely basket like yours now. 🥰 Hope your feeling better .thanks for the tips Niki 🥰 x
This weeks fibro section was very helpful. I use some of the stuff you had in your basket. I have a recliner that I sit in and I have a cart with drawers that I have everything I need and more. I know what you mean about the flu feeling. I also get that. Its horrible. Thank you for sharing another great vlog!!!💕
Hi Nicky! What a lovely video, thank you. What a brilliant idea. I’m definitely going to start one. I have the lavender neck wrap, heavenly. I think my box will have some Cadbury giant buttons and some inspirational books, like the secret, or I have my easy read hyygge books( Swedish relaxation/ self care ideas. ). Hope all ok with you xx
Sounds like a great idea! I love the idea of chocolate buttons! 😋 I am supposed to say we should avoid sugar during a flare blah blah, but I'm with you! Chocolate all the way! 😉
I have what I call my Happy Box it's a bunch of different things that I used to distract myself and your help myself get through things I use it for a variety of different things including flare-ups of my fibromyalgia. I have a video of it on my RUclips channel if anybody is interested in seeing what I have.
Hi I have just found this page . Iam suffering from fibro for abt 20 years now . At first I thought I was going to go out of my head as no one knew what was going on with me. Its a living nightmare but I always say there's some1 else worse of than me. I also suffer with depression with mine, loss of concentration, fatigue , bloating, constipation plus my fingers are staring to go very lumpy and I mean lumpy and bendy. If I'm pointing 1 way my kids will try make me laugh by asking is it in the neighbours next door cus that the way finger points lol. Aswell as fibro I lost my beautiful daughter 10 yrs ago 27th Dec, she was coming 17 but trust me I wud take fibro on 100 times on top of loss if cud have her bk . My worst areas are neck, shoulder,bk hands and knees but in saying that I'm glad I found your channel. Will def be on watching your videos and listening to ideas. Stay safe God bless until next time xx

Yes, it is soft which helps! I really want a heated blanket too as sometimes I don't know which spot to put the heat pad on first! 🙄😁

Thanks Nicky. My GP has prescribed piroxicam gel for affected areas which I use to take some of the pain away.
🤞 it works for you!

I have the heat mat and the pain balm. I need to look into the ankle and wrist supports. Unfortunately I can’t take caffeine as makes my anxiety worse
That's a shame but you could try ordinary paracetamol every 4 hrs on a flare.
Great video! Just a quick point, don't take any other paracetamol if your on other paracetamol meds. Xx
Yes well done. Definitely don't mix and ask your gp before taking them if you are concerned!
What would you put in your Fibro flare box? 🤔
What about hair band or a clip xx
