People have said to take out the batteries and plug it into the console and let it sit for 30 mins

My xbox series controller stopped turning on since last night, about an hour before that happened it worked perfectly, I always use it connected with a cable and something similar had already happened to me with another controller, it happened to me that when connecting the controller my keyboard and mouse turned off and the controller did not turn on, I tried trying different cables and I managed to turn it on by not fully connecting the usb c to the controller, The problem is that after a while the controller would turn off, I stopped using this controller for a few months and now that my current controller I stop turning on the old controller works perfectly, I thought that maybe using the wired connected controller is what generates the problem but I really have no idea and it would be silly if it was like that (when I use the Xbox I always have my keyboard and mouse connected because I play fortnite with them, I'm adding this in case something similar happens to you)

I have the same issue the controller came with batteries and after they died I left them in the controller and connected the controller via usb c to my pc and have been playing with it since (with the batteries inside).
I feel like that's why my controller has suddenly died and won't turn on even with new batteries or cable. I've not smashed it or anything.
I think the circuits fried and am just looking for the right video who will show the proper steps to fix it
I did the same but with rechargeable batteries that I forgot I had in them. Must be the board so most likely gotta swap it also vibration doesn't function either@@therealFMG

Guys heres what I did, plug out the power of your xbox and plug it right back in, after that turn on your controller, Im not saying this will fix your issue but it worked for me

this was happening to me, i was so high that i put face the batteries the same way. So you should check if there inserted properly

I don’t use batteries at all I use a battery pack I tired all that didn’t work my controller only works if it’s wired to the Xbox I need it fixed asap
