Thanks for backstage peek!!! Great interview and dynamite looking venue! Thanks for the latest album and for this post too!!
First big gig I went to was these guys , wasn't a fan and only went cause my then squeeze got free tickets ... walked out totally mentally drained and a major Billy fan . That dude has tone for days
That happened to me with Eric Clapton 😅👍🏻
what a life
Legends and still carrying on after losing Dusty🔥🤘💕🎸🎸
I first Saw them back in '72 at the Madison County Coliseum in Alabama when they were just another southern circuit band! They absolutely blew me away! I had never heard anything like them and I LOVED the way they rocked and boogied! Back then they didn't wear flashy outfits, just plain shirts with blue jeans! Their stage setup was simple with a freakin' WALL of Rio Grande amps behind them! I have seen them numerous times since then and they NEVER disappoint me! I Love that "little 'ol band from Texas" !!!
thats cool.
That's awesome!!! 👍👍
So where is Madison Co. Colosseum in Alabama?
Hope they had time for some swedish meatballs !
I ENVY THESE PEOPLE....GOD DECIDED THEY WILL GET SUPER TALENT AND HAVE A SUPER LIFE ! If I come back for a second go at life please god make me a rock star! and not the misery I am stuck in in this life.
That's a really sad way of looking at things.
First off, it's a massive disservice to Billy, like his skills were just handed to him rather than something he worked hard for and really committed himself to.
Second, if you're fortunate to be reincarnated, I hope you don't spend your time being envious of others rather than believing in yourself.
AMAZING VENUE! .... Those damned Swedes have GOT IT MADE!
The seeds and that part 9f the world are good people I did bussnewith one guy who helped me out a lot my fellow American would not help the way these peoples helped me can say good things abought them all day and they have clean streets and there the last stand to heavy metal...Roland J Gutierrez from Magdalena New Mexico usa..
ZZ Top is my all time favorite band.
Good taste
Billy Gibbons very sympathic man
Saw the Moving Sidewalks at the Sharpstown dome. Some weird show with the Glass Cans and others.
i finally got to see them in concert in sept 2017. and still one of the best bands i ever seen. they guys are legit real good
I saw them in 1975,2 times in 2009 and in 2012. Love these guys!
Great vid.....you know it is time to commit to boycotting ANY product advertised proceeding or during videos on RUclips. You might be looking at something that is sensitive or means something and be blasted with some haphazardly placed pathetic crap product typically making consumers look like complete morons. Don’t buy these worthless products.
Saw them in 76 in Elpaso and again in the 80s I don't remember what year but it was in Phoenix ....the first ZZ top song I heard was Mexican Blackbird and have lo ed them ever since
awesome!!!👍👍
I really want to see ZZ Top in concert.
The Houston guy gets his own room, but the Dallas guys got to share one?
🏆🎶🤟🎶😎🎶🤟🎶🏆

i seem em in about 1973 in nashville speedway with j geils an maybe reo speedwagon,zz top wasted them all.....and later in atlanta stadium,an nearly got crushed, way over crowded,an somewhere else too i seen them..all a blur,we allways was someked up too much
David Ledford: I simply can't believe your good fortune. I'd love to see them. Haven't yet. Take care, man.
He s okay I met him one time in the Europapark
I'm not from around here I don't know what's going on ? This looks really neat though, wow !
Hope I'm not the enemy, believe Rock should all ways be anti war,Jimi Hendrix lost his life to standing firm behind songs like " Ain't Afraid To Suffer" or Machine Gun,never support war and mongerism like the fallen Ted Nugent or the never been much of anything memorable,Kiss.Chris Young
Hell yeah,rocknfuknroll
1:19 never heard foreigner pronounce Helsinki that good
Wow Billy what is that axe you are plying can i get my hands on one Top
That's the BGSG (Billy Gibbons Ultimate SG), one of his signature series Gibson. The headstock is based on a Flying V (though not a true V headstock). There's not much too custom about it except for the looks, it's basically a standard SG, but much much cooler. They're supposed to be on sale to the public but I've never seen one, they're also completely hand made so I'd imagine they're pretty expensive.
Always loved the way you pick that stuffage
I love your guys music!!
Black keys giving in the background lol
👍💚💚😎
'Friend"--- Hello is allright!
Word !
Thank you Renee.4 real
They opened for Ten Years After in San Antonio back in '71-'72. Stole the show. Before the flashy costumes & beards. Billy just had on a leather jacket & Pearlie Gates slung low. Played slide with a bottle of Lone Star beer & the mike stand. Totally upstaged Alvin Lee.
Saw them open for Deep Purple in Atlanta in 73, same thing happened.!
We nationwide.. ..
BLA BLA BLA...
cool!
I’ve see That Little Ol’ Band from Texas so many times over the last 40 years, I’ve lost count.
