Imagine being good enough to reach either silver or gold in the olympics, but too short sighted and stupid to think of a believable plan. They could’ve done a million things to fake an accident it makes no sense. Luckily she recovered the poor girl
Tonya's ex husband and bodyguard did that. She didn't even know they were going to do that, what sucks is because they did that dumb shit they got her banned, and ruined her career.

It just bothered me the whole time: Tanya Harding had nothing to do with it, it was PROVEN she had nothing to do with it, and she STILL had to apologize for what happened to Nancy, even though she was innocent. Shawn Eckhardt, some nobody who claimed to be a counterterrorist expert is the one who hired two deadbeat trashbags with nothing better to do in their lives, to sabotage Nancy and Tonya (need I add, if I remember correctly, they didn't even receive the full bs pay that Eckhardt had offered up). Her husband's not innocent either. He said "he only wanted to scare her, send her death threat letters." Eckhardt is the one who took it all too far. Also, he tried to kill her husband, I forgot why, I'm assuming it's all part of his "counterterrorism" training crap. Anyway, she permanently had her competitive license suspended, basically for eternity, and uh, yeah. Her life was ruined. She's doing. . ."okay" now.
1. Tanya subjectively admitted to being involved with the incident, but claimed to be "just a woman" as to claim to be too stupid to know what was going on. 2. After the incedent, she wrote a book about how Nancy victimized her with this whole incident, playing off as if she is the victim, then sold the movie wrights, where she admitted, again, her involvement to the producers. 3. Still to this day, she milks the incident for fame, taking every opportunity to play the victim. "I didn't know they would seriously go through with it" (something I heard her say in an interview) is not the picture of innocence.

From your local Astrophysics Grad Student: the reason the sandpaper affects the batter hitting the ball is the sandpaper roughs the surface of the ball which may not seem like a lot, but at 70-100mph that small difference is HUGE and let’s the pitcher have more control over the ball during flight, curves balls curve more etc... there’s a lot of physics that goes on, but the simplify it, the more resistance allows for more force to be applied due to spin and airflow around the ball ( this spinning causes pockets of low and high pressure forcing the ball to move to equalize the pressure ) if you have anyone questions comment below :)
- Tonya Harding's ex husband called for the hit on Carrigan. - Phil Niekro had a nail file in his pocket for his nails. He was a knuckball pitcher. Nail length and shape are a huge factor to how well you can throw the type of pitch. - Using a foreign substance on your hands in basketball inhances your game. Not weakens it.
the soccer player in the beginning was tearing up the field at the spot for the goal kick so they shooter would loose footing, and i saw the full clip, it worked the shooter slipped on his ass and missed the shot.
Yes, pine tar is sticky. It is used in primitive living as a skin protectant, wood lacquer, bandaids, soap additive for cleansing the skin for poison ivy irritation, and also used as pitch on the end of a stick for fire starting while camping or practicing primitive skills. Those same little sticks with the pitch on them can be melted and used over a cut or scrape to help keep dirt and bacteria out until you can get a modern bandage. Yes, I practice primitive living and learn how our ancestors lived so I can be more self dependent rather than dependent on other hard working individuals or government (taxpayers) funds.
There is actually a movie about Tonya Harding where you get to Know more about that accident. The movie is called I, Tonya. Can you react to it in your Channel some Times? 😊
I dunno what pine tar is but to me it sounds like sap from a pine tree which is sticky as hell. The soccer one he used his left hand not his right. I remember seeing something about it years ago.
Y’all need to chill. He didn’t even say either. I thought it was funny because I heard it even though he didn’t say it like that. Y’all are arguing over something that didn’t even happen
Pine Tar is from a Pine tree. It's VERY sticky and if you put just a smidge on your fingertips, your fingers "stick" to the ball so the pitcher has a much better grip on the ball before he throws the pitch.
As a former pitcher, another bit about pine tar, first most pitchers put foreign substances on their palm in their glove hand. Secondly, baseballs move the way they do because of how the seams cut and move the air around the ball in flight. That's how you get curveballs and such. With pine tar, it moves the air differently and makes the ball move in erratic ways as well. Giving the pitcher an added advantage that way besides grip. **EDIT** Same as the sandpaper. Haha I answered it before that part
Pine tar is extremely sticky. Players use it on their bats for a better grip on the bat. But if a pitcher uses it, it not only helps the pitcher grab the ball better but it can make the ball move or drop in certain ways that is impossible to get without the pine tar
I think your awesome , just started watching your videos and subscribed. Please can you tell me what your catch phrase is at the beginning , I can't catch it 😀😀 Keep up the great vids , you make me smile. 😀😀💕💕
I dont know if anyone has commented, this is my first time seeing this video but for those who dont know, Pine Tar is used on the Bats so that the players get a good grip and it wont slip out of their hands during the swing, pitchers also have been known to use pine tar to make their fingers sticky to make the ball do what they want more, so more curve on their curveball etc., you will also see pine tar on the helmets as well from players touching it for adjustment and to help get some extra stickiness if they dont feel that there is enough on the bat.
I feel so old because you dont know of Tonya Harding.... Also.... quick story: I had a rescued feral cat, tiny little thing I called Yoda. (Pointy ears, bald on the top...) and he really didn't care nothing about NOTHING. Except figure skating. If I came across an event, he would run in, sit in front of the tv and was mesmerized by what was on. If a commercial came on, he walked away. but as soon as the event was back on, back he came. :)
Probably already been answered, but the most common way for a pitcher "re-tar" their fingers is to touch the spot with the tar. If he hadn't have had the tar so thick, he might have gotten away with it. This is super old school, but it works to give the pitcher more control over his throw.
Pine tar is used on the fingertips. It allows the pitcher to grip the ball better and gives the ball more break and spin. Other common ways of doing this that are also Illegal are to hide a file on the fingers on the glove to scuff the ball, sand paper in the glove, and using the buckle on their belt to scuff the ball.
Pine tar is a sticky substance that the batter uses on their bats to increase grip and when a pitcher uses it it give them a better grip and could increase the speed because they have a better grip
Gordon Bombay =Emilio Estevez. The Mighty Ducks movies are the reason I love hockey now. Especially since they actually created a team after the movie. Didn't know Emilio had signed on to do more Ducks movies though.
5:16 That Miami player flopped on the ground like he was a soccer player faking an injury. What a bitch move. You got tripped, you didn't take a bullet.
Cheating is also rampant in Sumo Wrestling. This is because your allowed to lose a certain amount of matches and still advance. So it was found a large percentage of wrestlers were throwing the matches.
The last one, the guy didn't use his hand to hit the ball, he however made an air flow from the swing of his hand speeding up the ball so it went into the net while still in the air
That soccer play is called gods hand play in soccer and the hawks free throw, the ball had stick em because Dwight Howard had used it because he said it gave him better grip and he used it before
The ice skating incident was parodied by Thd Simpsons in a bowling episode, but with funny results. Last clip is Maradona with "The hand of God" WC Mexico '86, he did use his hand.
That guy said that Tanya was suspended even though she had nothing to do with it...TANYA HARDING PAID A GUY TO HURT HER BECAUSE SHE KNEW SHE COULDN'T BEAT HER ..

Also.... quick story: I had a rescued feral cat, tiny little thing I called Yoda. :)
You are so funny 😂 I love your channel keep it up bro
I actually used to live in the same town as Tonya Harding and she’s actually a really sweet person
Probably already been answered, but the most common way for a pitcher "re-tar" their fingers is to touch the spot with the tar. If he hadn't have had the tar so thick, he might have gotten away with it. This is super old school, but it works to give the pitcher more control over his throw.
I haven't had a tv in 15 years and it is soooooooooo much better!!
I LOVE your boards in the back! Where you get those?
If pitchers use pine tar it helps with grip on the ball for different pitches, pine tar is meant for batting gloves and that bat itself.
Pine tar is a sticky substance that the batter uses on their bats to increase grip and when a pitcher uses it it give them a better grip and could increase the speed because they have a better grip
I loved watching ice skating too when I was a kid and was obsessed with the mighty ducks movies!
For the Tanya/ice-skating one, it might sound familiar because they did a movie about it called “I, Tonya” in 2017
Gordon Bombay =Emilio Estevez.
I just simply love your spirit
the fact they say this happens every game just shows the loss of morality in people.
I have been watching your scariest Ghost video's for about an hour so when 7:05 came around I almost jumped out my skin for real! Goodness!
The last one, the guy didn't use his hand to hit the ball, he however made an air flow from the swing of his hand speeding up the ball so it went into the net while still in the air
A lot of pitchers use pine tar. Especially on cold days. Helps them with grip and spin.
Gave him the nickname Pineduh after that lol
There is a movie about tonya harding called “I tonya” y’all should check it out, it’s on Hulu
You put the pine tar on your finger tips, to give that last little grip to get the ball spinning for a better fast ball or breaking pitch.
The finger scating one really got to me because if I broke a bone that could lead to the end of my football career
The mighty ducks will be on Disney plus for the movies as well as a TV series that they are planning on doing
Artofkicks's beard game is next level!
I wanna see another one of these man!
