    Going to WDW in May and all of this info will be so helpful as your other videos with the M50 have been. I feel my Lightroom skills have dulled some and I’ll be going over your LR videos soon.
    Will be using the app with my M50 and looking forward to the results! Will post my pics when I can. Again thanks for your videos!

      @@BillEricPhotography sorry typo, this video was really helpful with fireworks. Could you make a video next on how to take pictures inside Disney dark rides ? These are really hard to shoot. Like snow white, Pinocchio etc ..

    Great video!! Thanks a lot! One question, people don't complain about the tripod? For example in MK in the night show where do you recommend to settle?

    • @BillEricPhotography
      @BillEricPhotography  3 года назад +1

      As long as you are set up before it gets crowded people will usually make room around you. I've never had a problem shooting in the parks for over 10 years.

    Thank you!!!! I will try that tonight. Would the settings be similar with a crop sensor camera. ( Canon 90D ) ?

    • @BillEricPhotography
      @BillEricPhotography  3 года назад +1

      Yes, setting are the same. Only difference is the focal length.

    Do you ever use an ND Filter for fireworks ? Thank you

    • @BillEricPhotography
      @BillEricPhotography  2 года назад +1

      I have in the past but I actually prefer to use nothing. If I have to darken the image I will just stop down a little bit. If you want to do a super long exposure you might want to use one.

    Any tips for mobile photography?

  • @j.chrisdamico611

    I rarely can get bulb mode to function on my M50. I routinely do long exposures and have no difficulty using manual mode and getting up to a 30 second exposure. However, most times, the shutter won't depress when I put it into bulb mode. I just can't figure that one out. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, or could it just be a limitation of the camera?

    • @BillEricPhotography
      @BillEricPhotography  3 года назад

      I have never had that issue. Try using the Canon app to release the shutter . Mine works perfectly that way.

    I’ve a canon m50 ii and would like to photograph fireworks what will be the best Setting

    • @BillEricPhotography
      @BillEricPhotography  Год назад

      It depends on the show and where you will be relative to the fireworks. But it good general rule is to start around f11 ISO 100. Whatever focal length you think you want. Then put the camera in bulb mode and use the app in your phone to control how long you leave the shutter open. Usually 6 to 10 seconds is a long enough exposure to get a good shot.
