- This crochet jacket will be the coolest crochet project you ever made! Styled after the classic Sherpa wool jacket with collar, cuffs and lining. Of course we use yarn, not actual Sherpa wool! This easy crochet coat pattern uses the easy knit-look stitch, center single crochet, which makes it look that much more impressive. The tutorial also offers suggestions for warmer climates using a different yarn.

That is so sweet of you to say! Thank you so very much!
This jacket is absolutely adorable! So cozy looking!!And soft, too! I’m glD it’s not wool! I can’t tolerate wool!’ I always wonder how people come up with such cool ideas!
It truly is cozy. When I was done filming and photographing I realized I had kept the jacket on long after I was done. It is SO unbelievably comfortable! The way I came up with this idea...I googled 2021 trends in fashion and then went down a rabbit hole and eventually ended up on some shopping site that had a similar jacket. I immediately knew I had to come up with a crochet version. I surprised myself that it actually worked out! LOL.
@@CrazyCoolCrochet Aweaome!! I’ve done that, but I never follow through! I’m impressed!!

Can you make this in an X-Large please or tell me the stiches to make it thank you in advance
Thank you for the question. As stated at the beginning of the video, sizing info can be found in the description area, the white space below the video. You need to manually open that up where it says Show More or find the little V next to the name of the video and click the V. Wow, you have some great pieces of work...this is lovely...You are my new favorite crocheter!...I am loving the long cardigan I am doing from your other video I commented on...now I have an urge to do this now!!! However, I think I would make it longer for me.
You have a new subscriber...Hope you'll have a gander at my channel, it's about rescuing chickens and giving them a loving home after their horrendous ordeal being stuck in cages for the first 2 or 3 years of their life...now they live with me, free and happy.
Aww thank you. This crochet jacket is probably my most satisfying design (so far). It turned out exactly how I imagined it and fit perfectly and is truly a real jacket. And it's fairly simple to execute. Just a few straight panels to seam together. I hope you try it and like it. I'm so happy you're enjoying working up the long chevron cardigan. I did check out your channel. You obviously work very diligently on your videos to make them fun and interesting. And you post quite a lot. Are you hoping to monetize?
I love it ❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much! I appreciate that.
I was looking a little closer at the project and I noticed that the collar doesn’t have a brown collar under it. Is there a way to do that?
Good question! To do that you would need to work up the collar separately; a brown panel and a white panel, then attach those panels together and attach to the jacket. Since that's not how I woked it, I don't have instructions. Alternately, for a thicket collar you can work it as directed but double the length, reversing the increases. Then fold, seam the sides and seam to the neck.
I would have trouble seeing my stitches but you did 🙂
Ah yes. That Pipsqueak yarn can be tricky to work with. Your fingers and hook get used to it pretty quickly though. Thanks for watching!
Wanted to know how chain I should do for s adult size
The video is for a small adult size. Please follow the video. Thank you!
Love the pattern. What else yarn you can use if you can't use wool?
The Wool Ease yarn is 80% acrylic. Please watch the video. I do offer an alternative yarn in the video.
@@CrazyCoolCrochet Thank you.
Wow . 😍😍😍
I'm happy you like this! Thanks for watching.
So I’m about 58” around, and I am thinking of lining the inside of the sleeves for warmth. How much of the yarn do you think I might need compared to the small? I know that’s tricky to figure, I suppose I could always purchase excess, lol. I wish I had seen this pattern before buying fleece and Sherpa fabric! I prefer crochet / knit for tops. This is such a pretty design.
I'm so glad you like this and want to make it. Quite honestly, 58 inches around doesn't really help me. I'll have to take a wild guess and assume (forgive me if I'm way off base) it's about a 2x? In which case I would say you might need about 24 ounces of the main color and 31 ounces of the "fur". For the detailed pattern: www.etsy.com/listing/891150459/easy-crochet-jacket-pattern-for-women
@@CrazyCoolCrochet Oh, I’m sorry! ❤️ I’m sort of between a 2x and 3x because my hips are just above 60” and my chest is 52”. I’m between sizes.
I appreciate the reply and the pattern, as well as the link. Thank you very much. 😊
@@CrazyCoolCrochet your shop is so cute, wow! I added a bunch of your patterns to my wishlist.
@@melissajenkins9960 Aww thank you. Very sweet. Thank you so much

How many chains for a medium?
Hello. Thank you for the question. You will find more detail here: crazycoolcrochet.com/crochet-jacket-free-pattern/
It doesn't specify how many chains just to add 2 inches. Nice jacket though.
@@luwandaartrelle4250 There is no multiple. You use any number chain. Just crochet chains for 2 additional inches. I tried to keep the pattern as simple as possible.
