Alison always had feelings for Emily. The fact that she was young, confused and distracted, of course she was in denial. But as time passes and moved their lives differently, always in a verge of life&death situation thats when Alison learned to face and confess her true feelings for Emily. And thats when their story has become so sweet and beautiful. Imagine bein in love since 9th grade. As for Emily, first love never dies is REAL ❤🤘

I was so happy and giddy with the way this scene started.. Emison cuteness, hugs, Ali actually seemingly being sincere (which she always was with Em..).. Then Spencer barges in and RUINS EVERYTHING. No joke I kinda wanted to punch her after because she interrupted.. I don't think Ali is playing a game, I mean I think she genuinely is in danger and needs help and she reaches out to Emily because they've always had a different kind of relationship.. I think she really does love the girls and trusts them (although she says otherwise in this scene, she does otherwise she wouldn't have shown them that she was alive) but I think she loves and trusts Emily more. Also.. Angry Emily is so awesome.. And kinda hot as well.
That may be true, but tbh I still think that they are doing the "twin story" from the books in a different way and that this is not Ali, but her twin. There have been many clues, and, while the producers said that they weren't doing the twin story, they also said that Mona wasn't going to be A. Its because of these facts that I can't really trust them and why I think that the twin is A. I think Spencer is right that this Ali is trying to divide them like the old one did.
But honestly if it is Ali then Emily's still gonna end up disappointed because Ali isn't gay or bi... :\ Oh well I guess that's life...
Marlene and Sasha have both denied that they are doing the twin story. There probably have been lots of clues JUST to make us all think that. With this show, you never really know. And has Ali EVER said she wasn't bi? True, she said she liked boys way back in that flashback in the locker room, BUT she never said she didn't like girls. I honestly think that Ali could have feelings for Em but got scared and didn't want to show how gentle and sweet she was with her when they are alone to the public eye because she's Alison Dilaurentis: hot, perfect, popular blonde girl who doesn't want her reputation to be ruined. Now you can have your opinion and I respect it, but this show has so many twists and turns.. And anything is possible in Rosewood as we know.
TheLovatic Gleek Yeah, I understand. Idk why but I feel like if Ali gets with Em she might unintentionally hurt her... I mean she was mean before, and even if she's different now, she's always been known for fighting dirty. That's why I always liked Maya over Paige, because Paige tried to hurt Emily and even though she loves her now there's still some sort of deep, set-in resentment against her for that... I know it's kinda stupid but its just one of those things that I can't help getting over...
And now that I think about it I think I know why Ali can trust Emily more than any of them: Emily may have been hurt by Ali most because she loved her, but Ali was just cruel to Hanna, who resents her for it, Spencer joined the A-Team (even if it was to protect the girls, that fact remains), and Aria would be too blind to believe that Ezra is A (she wouldn't believe Jake, so why Ali, the biggest liar of them all). If you can get back to me on this theory; I'd like to hear your input on it!
***** Yes, Ali has been known to fight dirty, everyone knows this.. But in this scene if you just look at her face and her eyes, it looks like she's being sincere and is actually relieved that at least one of the girls trusts her at least a little and I think she's happier that it's Emily. They've always had a special bond, you can't deny. Ali knew Em had feelings for her and yes, kissed her twice, which could have just been a ruse, but in many scenes when they don't talk for like a second and they just LOOK at each other, Ali's gaze seems loving and gentle towards her. I could be wrong though, I just ship them so hard. And oh trust me, I don't like Paige. I mean if she makes Em happy for now, then fine, but I can never get over the fact that she tried to drown her and also she is just kinda annoying. Your theory however, could be possible and I admit that. Alison might trust Em the most because even after all this time,she knows that Emily would most likely still do anything for her, unlike the others who would probably say "No" until they get more information. Although this could be true, I'm holding onto the hope that Ali isn't playing and just needs someone, and the someone that she loves and trusts the most is Emily because they've always had a different type of relationship.

I actually admired Emily when she stood up to Ali in 4x15 and made it clear that it would not be easy for Alison to weasel her way back into Em's life. The amount of hurt she caused the girls by her "death" should not be ignored. How she treated Emily in general and made her feel special and lead her on should not be ignored either. I understand spencer at this point.Hasn't she already played the 'you are the only one who understands me" card before with EM?
The only thing is, Emily stood up to her in a "dream," so she probably feels that anger subconsciously. But when she found that note in her purse, she immediately went to meet Ali. I do think Ali has a lot to make up for her in how she treated Emily. Hope the writers will address all this and still let Emison happen in a real way.

Spencer always makes things worse lol are you serious. Spencer is the one that always finds out everything the one that always finds out who A is. without her they wouldn't even have the name Charles. Spencer was only trying to protect Emily and Emily was so stupid by going there in the first place without backup plan if you think of all the things A has done to them.
+Music lover for a life nah nah, Spencer is the smartest and thanks to her theyre all still alive. but she always goes out of her way to try to know things. shes always so paranoid about everyone and everything and sometimes she gets carried away and says and does things she regrets immediatelly after she did them.
AA let's not forget she can at times be incredibly insensitive to the other girls she always suspects something about who they are close with or dating like for ex when Maya died Emily was upset but she still managed to bounce back knowing that's what Maya would have wanted for her to stay safe despite being hurt while Spencer thought she found Toby dead and was a complete wreck she somehow always tries to tap out when it's her boyfriend and fam saying she's done or being totally against the girls when they suspect someone she's close too
she annoyed me this moment. we can see how thirsty Emily is for Alison
Emison fans needs to chill. What if it is really a trap? At this point, none of them don't know who A is and A is torturing them harder than before. Spencer had her speculations and no one is listening to her, as always. 😂

you know that its always going to be drama if someone tries to come between Emison .. and what really ticked Emily off was that Emily told Spencer that Ali wanted to meet alone and Spencer didn't listen .. i mean i can relate on why Spencer followed Emily there so she can protect her because she probably thought it was an A trap .. but then knowing that Spencer was there the whole time listening not making any noise .. why would she want to interfere with their conversation trying to see Ali .. knowing what Emily had told her ? i think Spencer was wrong for trying to jump out making Ali run away .. when she could have just stayed behind the shelf .. i mean she knew Emily wasn't in danger , since she heard their whole Convo ..

I think a lot of y'all are completely overlooking the fact that spencer is completely right she's wasn't in the wrong for wanting to protect her friend and she was right about what she said about Ali Emily was finally starting to move on and Ali couldn't have that so she played with Emily's emotions so that she could still have someone on her side

Spencer had good intentions. Apart of me kinda feels like when she got there all the internalized anger she had towards Alison came out especially when Ali said she can’t trust the others might have been a trigger for Spencer. I feel for Emily she’s so compassionate and has a beautiful heart, pure and full of gold. All she wanted was this moment with Ali. I don’t think Alison was manipulating Emily, as Spencer said, she’s been through a lot she’s desperate, scared. ❤

Spencer was completely right in the situation, not Emily. Emily and the other liars fail to realize that without Spencer, they would all be dead. Spencer has figured out who A was every single time, and Emily hasn't done anything except for decoding a letter once. Spencer can be a bit of a control freak at times, but it's only because she cares about the other girls and doesn't want anything to happen to them. Spencer following Emily wasn't so she could damage Emily and Alison's relationship, but instead make sure everyone was safe. After all, they had been tortured by A for years. If I was in their shoes, I would be thankful to have a friend like Spencer who always looked out for me, since going some where alone could be extremely dangerous. It's also pretty selfish of Alison to only trust Emily. I understand that Ali had a different connection with Emily then she did with the other three, but they were all best friends. All of the girls suffered from the loss of Ali, not just Emily.

Alison and the other 3 would bump heads sometimes.. Emily and Ali didn't really fight .. so therefore she had trust in her . & in some of the episodes Spencer needed the girls too, she couldn't do things alone & neither can others .. we all know that Spencer is the smartest , that's why their all friends because they have different qualities..
***** I understand that you dislike Spencer for other reasons, but it's hard to deny her value in the group. Sure, all of the liars have had a moment where they saved each other. Spencer, however, has proved to be the strongest a thousand times over. When she was temporarily in Radley, Emily, Hanna, and Aria nearly fell apart without Spencer. I think the most notable thing is how little the other liars think their actions through. For example, in 5x25, they were going to climb the fence, without thinking for one moment that it could have been electric. Had Spencer not stopped them, the other girls would have died instantly, or at least been severely injured. Spencer has never stopped fighting, even when she was dealing with a drug relapse or during the height of her issues with PTSD. I'm not sure for what reason you dislike Spencer, but she is extremely underrated and deserves more respect. She is the brains of the group. She's one of the most strong, intelligent, and loyal characters to ever be on television. And although she isn't always perfect, that's what makes her character great. She used to be obsessed with being perfect, and then she had incredible character development and learned who she really is.
Sidney Kay I actually disagree I don't consider Spencer the strongest bc it seems like whenever someone she cares deeply for like her family or Toby gets hurt or has something to do with a death or A she breaks down and fries herself and is so ready to be done so she has definitely had her moments where she is anything but where she needs to be and also her insensitive attitude the other girls gets me too so that definitely does not make her stronger

ok, for people who say poor spencer, emily is the one who is wrong. Can you understand Emily? Alison has been her big girl crush since forever and after 2 years (for what it says the show) she can have finally the opportunity of see Alison again, touch her, talk with her. Yes, spencer follow her because she was afraid for her friend, spencer is amazing, but she was hide during the conversation, she could just have stay that way so maybe she could have hear more about what alison wanted. just stay out till alison tells more so emily and alison can have a moment.

Emily was upset because she felt like Spencer didn’t trust her. She felt like she lost the last bit of Ali’s trust. AND she wasn’t even as mad until Spencer admitted that she listened to their entire conversation. It wasn’t like Spencer was in the back with binoculars and then saw it was Ali and realized that Emily was okay. It was like Spencer wedged herself into something knocking it over because she was eaves dropping on their entire conversation. Completely understand Spencer caring and wanting Emily safe, but she could have even followed her and not intruded on the level she did.

Karlee Craziness She's not right. Emily does not need protection, at least not from Ali. And yet characters like Spencer and Paige have just ignored Emily's wishes and "protected" her from a threat that wasn't even a threat. At least Ali knows that Emily is capable of taking care of herself.
MncDssctn Alison knows she can easily manipulate Emily. She plays off the fact. Why can't Alison trust the others. Bottom line I don't trust Alison.
She can't trust the others because they only judge her. Emily is THE ONLY ONE who listens to Alison's side of the story first. She doesn't manipulate Emily,she reaches out to Emily because she loves her but didn't know how to say it because she's struggling with her emotions.

Karlee Craziness She reaches out to Emily because Emily is the one that she can trust. Ali needed someone who would trust her back, and you saw right here that Spencer (and likely Hanna and Aria as well) would question her. The point is moot now anyway, the show is over and we know now that Ali genuinely wanted to come back, she was tired of running and she didn't want to manipulate anyone for any sort of nefarious reasons.

is it just me or does emily & spencer always fight ? i really want a scene where they figure something out together alone, without bickering. just like i want an aria and hanna scene, or an emily and aria scene, or spencer and hanna. also, spencer was just trying to look out for emily in this part ? like i get that emily's still in love with alison and maybe vice versa and i see her point but honestly em hella overreacted to spencer like she was about to slap her, like damn spence just followed you there and listened, not pull a knife on you. though i mean, spencer could've tried to be quieter and not make slip ups or noises, not really her fault though.

Emily goes with gut instinct and feelings and Spencer has to think things through and control everything. However, it’s good they are friends because they can catch things the other can’t but it makes sense why they don’t see eye to eye.

Emily went in with no backup plan whatsoever which is quite ridiculous when you consider everything A has done to them over the past few years. However, no one knows just what is going on with Ali; she could have good reason to not trust the others or she could be playing games.
I don't blame Spencer for following Emily as she's looking out for her. She should have been more careful though and not made any noise (the idea that she would have made that much noise is ridiculous itself lol).
Now that was a year ago, what side do you take now? Bc it's totally clear that alison changing in season 6 so when I picked emily before, I was so right.

Jessie mai I am still on Spencer's side. Alison is a lot different now, but back then, she was definitely still playing games, just like her fake kidnapping story that was to come. Besides, Spencer was just trying to help. Had Emily understood that, she and Spencer could have come up with something that would have prevented Alison hearing Spencer and running away. Emily was too hard on her. She was coming from a good place. That's my opinion though.
