In fact the reason she dates other is because she thinks she can't have Ali and looks for comfort with someone else. I know that feeling well, the only reason some who is in love with one person rushes to the arms of another in such a short time its become they are hurt because they can't be with the one they love so they distract themselves with another for comfort. If she loved Paige so much she wouldn't of even entertained the idea of hooking up with Ali. The reason she dated Sarah was because she was a knock off version of Ali. Alex even admitted this. And as she is telling Spencer she reveals that Charlotte only kept Sarah around because she looked so much like Ali.
Me too, but I think it was established at least in 5x05 that Ali had feelings for her. The walls were officially broken down. No more fear on Ali's part to kiss Emily or resistance. The rest just happened because of outside factors. Even when Emily got upset with her because of the Mona thing Ali caressed her cheek and wanted to kiss her again. She was willing to make it work after they had hooked up, but then the trust issues started happening and the Mona murder frame up happened. Tbh I think the reason Emily gave Paige another chance was because she missed Ali and not being with Ali, frustrated Emily to the point where she needed to fill that void of affection. In fact she dated around because she couldn't be with Ali as a distraction. She did that with all but Maya, who she could of been happy with, of course, at the time she thought Ali was dead. Emily tried to convince herself that she was happier with Paige, but if she really loved Paige, she wouldn't of hooked up with Ali in 5x05. Further proof is in season 7 when Paige tries one last time to win her back, but Emily was too caught up with Ali's situation that she was emotionally unavailable, she used the excuse that she was supporting Ali but so were her other friends she didn't need Emily to be there all the time. Emily chose to be there for her more than the other because she loves her. She was even upset when Ali kissed her and then asked Ali if she had only kissed her because she didn't want to be alone, and Ali said she didn't know. Emily, instead of saying, "Don't ever kiss me again and kept her distance, she said,"Don't do that again unless you mean it. " leaving herself open to the possibility of it happening again. Emily never stopped loving Ali, she kept herself busy just so missing Ali wouldn't be as hard. But even though she seemed more against Ali, this season, it still tormented her so much.

What do they really have to really blame Alison for? For a psychopath who decided to target them? Alison is not responsible for Mona deciding to torture them or Charlotte, anyone else. These people's reactions were overkill and too outrages. It's not Alison's fault that Ezra decided to stalk them and seduce a minor, for profit and gain. The Jenna thing was bad, I am not excusing their behavior. But it was a prank gone wrong as well. I don't think Alison's true intention was to blind her. I am sure she just wanted to scare her.. If they decided to try and put themselves at risk to find out what really happened to Alison, then that was on them. It was noble but still not a reason to blame it on her. All they did in this season was complain about Alison, talk bad about her, turning her over to the police when she was innocent. For what? To all of a sudden defend and care about Mona? When did they ever care about Mona? Before Alison came back they ignored her. After the Dollhouse, they still ignored her. Am I all of a sudden supposed to believe they cared about Mona? They spend years looking for Ali's killer only to treat her like crap when she came back home knowing she had just lost her mother. She had been on the run for 2 years, that time she didn't have a birthday or holiday with friends or family. Then they turn their backs on her after she had saved them and worried about them while on the run. Smh. The holidays came, and they completely shut her out on top of blaming her for Mona's death. And when given the opportunity to help make it right, Aria doesn't want to expose her brother and if that wasn't selfish enough they expected Ali not to take the Plead Deal because that would make them look guilty? I am sorry, but if I were Ali, I wouldn't of been so understanding or loyal after they betrayed her. They are terrible friends. After all that Ali still puts her life on the line, trying to save them from the Dollhouse. They come back after 5 years, and they are still distant with her.
