last time i saw them they thanked us for coming to their world with them so, um.... yeah. portal sounds accurate, i believe i read something about danny to the same effect
There are days where I'll argue with myself, but the majority of the time Lateralus is my favorite Tool album. It wasn't always that way. When I first purchased it, having been listening to only Undertow and Aenima to get my Tool fix, I wasn't ready for the offered journey. Then I saw them live on the Lateralus tour, and...yeah. Lateralus.
@@rippermadness2080 We got tickets super late, which put us in nosebleed seats, but we were almost directly overtop the stage, so we had an amazing view of what Danny was doing on the drums (and the light show on the stage) so overall it was a great time.
@@voidwraithprime8521 It was my first concert. Floor seats 8 rows from the stage almost dead center. Words can't describe that show. Edit: there weren't any bad seats because there was something different to see from the different seats.
Tool has this great way of surounding you with there music! I remember the first time i listened to them with headphones i was blown away by the soundscape.
Thank you Mr stoned chakra for reminding me of the importance this album has played, and keeps playing, a large part in my life. I Lateralus, especially, has helped me so much. Glad you're getting to experience it now, brother.
This was the last cd I bought the day it came out....I drove to the ocean by myself with it in the cd player on first listen...I will always love this album...I do love opiate and undertow and aenima as well...but I didn't get any of those albums the day they came out...had heard tracks from all before I delved into the whole discs...so this one is special to me...just fantastic...so much incredible about this album ..the guitar is other worldly...and of course maynard is killing
There's something that a friend of mine calls joygasms, Nietzsche calls it the intoxicant. It's that feeling in your chest like a mini-orgasm, it's your body's reaction to something beautiful. The Patient was the first song that ever gave that feeling, started happening all the time after that. While I'm here im going to recommend At the Drive in - One Armed Scissor. Such a great band
Speaking of the Holy Trinity...you'll be revisiting your warm cocoon somewhere in the middle of "Reflection". I was just listening to it here...at work...and realized I'd had my eyes closed for a minute or two. Efficiency...check!
It was a Blue Spark Black Edition inside a Kaotica Eyeball for sound treatment. I got the standard SM7B now lol. But Only because I heard the vocals of someone I was collaborating with and they were so crispy, I got the mic they were using 🔥
Love this song. It played a major part in keeping me here.
saved my life more than once and i am so lucky it did because my patience has paid off. be patient my friend
"I must keep reminding Myself of this"
That’s what TOOL does man…. They knew what they were doing when the made these songs. They opened a portal and invited us all to join

They’re all great. But, IMO Fear Inoculum will be remembered as their high water mark. Such a compositional masterpiece.
I’ve always listened to Tool but seeing it through your eye’s is a new trip
Fresh perspective is the shit

this is my favorite album. 10000 days is very close second.
Best song ever made.
You've got the best sound bites no doubt! "I am starting to hallucinate"
Is that Dale Gribble from King of the Hill? I want to find it's source but it ain't an easy find...
@@TheChazz1225 definitely Dale Gribble!
BEST BAND ALIVE. Admit it…
Gotta feed the tool fiends 🤣🤣🤣. Don't want those tool withdrawals 🤣🤣🤣
Do we get another full album live for Lateralus?
I gotta make sure to watch the next one before the content ID strikes get to it.

Reflection took awhile to grow on me, but wow. I finally appreciate how fantastic it is.
Can you say that the 🛠T⚙️⚙️L🛠Army told you GET READY FOR A RIDE 😉 Great to watch you Spiraling out🤘🤘
You should have done the intro to this song. EON BLUE APOCALYPSE
I go back and forth between this and Descending as my #1.
The song I put on when I just need to... just... go away from reality for a few minutes.
The holy trinity is gonna change you, you'll never be the same lol. Enjoy bud. I'll be watching for sure 👁
Lat-er-AL-us. :0)
it is even better LIVE!!!!!
This song is my favorite on the album. Very relatable. 💛
oh shit...the last 3....
You already know!!
@@StonedChakra yeah man!!!
But how deep Chakra? Finger deep? Knuckle deep? Elbow deep? or Shoulder deep? :0p
Haha, you didnt listen to the song man, you experienced it.
I’m a very well seasoned m’fkr 😂😂🌀
Yes, that was the least amount you have stopped it and talked. So yes I can see that you finally let it take you on a journey.
Might of stopped it less. But I still talk a lot 😂
Did you listen to aeon blue apocalypse yet, since you didn’t listen to it here on the channel? It’s an excellent intro to this song
Ladder Alice
What app you use to stream music dawg?
You have done any Undertow yet my favorite album,
Flood
Holy fuck, how big is that microphone? It's bigger than your head when you sit back. That's got to be at least the size of a basketball.

Besides some of Tools connecting noise tracks. You won’t find a bad song in the entire catalog. This album being my fav. 🤢🤢
Can you react to hoobastank?
What song?
