I started with the Yocan Vane and ended up buying maybe four over the years for myself and probably 6 or so for other people in my life that I was trying to help get away from smoking with combustion. The original version of the Yocan Hit had a pretty crappy problem where loose herb would sometimes float up through the mouthpiece into your mouth but otherwise it was like a larger version of the Vane. This new Hit 2 is a game changer. I just got mine in the mail today along with my new Linx Saber. I have many of the more expensive devices: Davinci, Zeus Arc GTS, nectar Hex, ooze Verge, POTV Lobo, Xmax v3 Pro, DynaVap, HR Rogue. Starry 4, and more. Yes children Vape Aquisition Syndrome is a real thing. While this device doesn’t compete with the Ooze verge for vapor production (which for me is only out done by much more expensive units like the Tiny Might, The Crafty/Mighty/Venti, and the Airizer Solo 3) it does hold its own with other units that cost far more. The POTV One is around $80 when it’s on sale and I’d take this over that any day. The POTV Lobo is just behind the Verge for me as far as flavor and vapor production. On sale the Lobo is around $120. I can find the Ooze Verge for $100 all day every day and it slightly better. The Hit I got today in the mail cost me $28 (Black Friday with a store coupon stacked on) and even at $50 which is the MSRP it’s have the cost but wayyyy more than half the device. Can you get better devices: yes. Can you spend $50 or less and get a better device: not that I’ve seen. ✌️

I feel you on how experiencing mediums of art changes when you start working in that medium. It feels like the 4th wall gets torn down in a way. I'm a game developer and I can remember when I started going to college for game design my whole experience as a player changed. Not necessarily for the worse but just forever altered from how it felt before I became a creator.
