A written pattern for purchase or free would be awesome!! Great tutorial but I'd love a written to follow along. I feel like I lose stitches on my single crochet rows in between the waves. Awesome project btw so easy and great instructions.
It took me about 4 tries but I finally got it!! The stitch counts are correct so make sure you're EXTRA careful counting. It's a beautiful pattern. Thank you for sharing
@@valerieburton3451 be consistent about where you're creating your 2nd row after the chain. What helped me (after making sure I was counting carefully) was sticking with the "top" loops when holding the chain sideways. For future rows, make sure you're doing the right stitches for the chain 6. You have to insert into the overall space and then also into the chain 5 space
Hello, i just started making this pattern. I use the suggested hook size on the yarn im using but it looks a bit loose than the one you make. Should i use smaller hook? I hope you read this. Also i tried doing back loop only on the 2nd and 3rd row. It looks good.
I was about to make it then i checked the comments and i was really disappointed and discouraged to make it , that mat looked really beautiful i hope u will make another easier tutorial
It is too simple of a pattern and too many of us coming here with same issue. Be nice to hear how to resolve by the couple who say they also had problem then it worked. Theres gotta be a reason???
Hey! Beautiful pattern, I am making this pattern for my coffee table. But I have a question, Is this pattern suitable for a cardigan? Please do provide your suggestions.
Beautiful pattern. Thank you for your work & Sharing! (gotta admit the only difficulty i had was when you kept calling a single crochet "stitch" a "chain space") otherwise an Awesome tutorial!!!
Just a small feedback for the content creator. Plz give final counts for each row, so that we can verify and check if we r going wrong somewhere... Some math/ numbers will definitely help. In each row, the final count must add up to 67. Not one less, not one more. 3+12+1=16 ------------- 1 set 16*4 = 64 64+3 sc = total 67. Even in the sc rows, count must add upto to 67 only. In each alternate row, it will be 4 full sets + 3 sc and 2 Half sets + 3 full sets + 3 sc If 67 is upheld, there won't be any mistakes. Correct me if I am wrong.
I’ve tried to work this but can’t seem to get the right stitch count beyond a couple rows. I rip it out and start over and I’ve finally given up. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. It’s very pretty though.
It’s because she’s actually skipping 2 when she does the chain 6… watch the video closely when she starts the rows. She skips 2, but on sc row she goes straight into first worked stitch
I started this pattern (done around 20 rows so far) and I’ve had no issues with the stitch count so far I did a chain of 84 (80 + 4) and I had no issues She said that it should be of sets of 16, with that extra chain 4 losing 1 chain from being a starting chain and the other three just being for 3 single crochets, so the pattern also adds up correctly so 🤔
Soooo…???? Was your comment just to say pattern is fine or is there a question in there??? Count definitely off at beginning but even once past that and my count being same on each row it doesn’t want to lay flat??? Just keep going and eventually it does or do I have to block it to lay flat?
Hi, I have been trying to make this and at the end I had a lot more left than you did at the end of the first row. So I am wondering if you did 64 chains or 68 chains since you said 64 add 4. I'm also in the U.S and find some of the terminology confusing like double trouble crochet, but I looked up a video and it said it’s the same as double crochet but it doesn’t look the same in your video!
same thought, I re-did the first row since the 2nd row was missing about 3 chains.. though I increased the 1st row to 71 chains (68 + 3) and the 2nd row was finally good, but then the 3rd row kept missing chains ... I gave up!!
The stitch count does not work out. I’m no beginner and I have diligently done it over 3-4 times now and it does not work when you start the half row (row 4 I think)
Look, i have done this pattern a 1000 times, and at the end, the stitches just don't add up. There is a problem with your stitch count. Sorry, please, this pattern is misleading and does not work.
Hello! I just tried out this pattern the other day and it did take awhile and definitely a learning curve for sure, but it did work out for me. Are you sure you didn’t skip any stitches? The video was accurate and i followed it second by second and it turned out beautiful!
Agree… I usually read comments first for this reason. It does not add up… I’ve done it 4 times now and I’m not a beginner. I’ll have to give it some thought how it needs to be to work but as soon as you start half row (think row 4) the stitches do not come out right
@@tesiacoester3954so what was the learning curve and what are we doing wrong??? I keep seeing comments of others having same issue and some saying they finally got it worked out but no one says what the problem is and how to fix it???
So I finally had some time to pay closer attention and figure out the issue here and on that 4th row I think it is, the first half row that the count is off… if you watch closely she skips the first 2 but is saying to only skip one and only skips one inbetween all the other stitches. So I’m not sure after this row will it all work out… ??? I will have to give it another go and see what else I find but again when I have a little more time then I do right now. It’s a pretty pattern but terrible instruction and knowledge of correct terms.
It worked out for me. I just started doing this pattern. It's exactly how she had mentioned 64+4 . Skipping one. There is no problem with count. I made a mistake in one of the row , I didn't do change one and another mistake was did dc twice and that time count goes wrong. When your count goes wrong, check if it's exact pattern. Mistake happens here, sc, DC,treble, DC treble, dctreble, DC,sc. Sometimes do 2 DC or 3 DC treble. Here count goes wrong. Check whole pattern when u reach at end
I think the yarn you hv used in d video is not Fine no 3 as you mentioned in one of the comments section .it looks like DK worsted yarn.. pls clarify.. I want to start d project urgently
Hello. In this video I used “creative” from yarnart brand. So it says fine no: 3 . But you can use any kind of yarn which thicker one with suitable hook size. Cotton is better for table runners and home decors..!🥰
I tried this but always had an extra stitch at the end of the third row. I tried multiple times and counted the stitches and it doesn't work. Now I am sad 😢
Hi! I also had a lot of issues with the same row you’re talking about. It looks like she starts that row with the chain 6, BUT she then skips TWO stitches to do her next HDTC! Im refferring to 7:18 in the video!
I tried this...already made 2 pieces...working on the rest..its super easy. Thanks for the tutorial

So what’s the secret then??? Doing it 4 times??? Cause I just did it for my 4th time and it does not come out on 4th row so where’s the issue???

@@kgarbo2018got that… problem is she actually is skipping 2 when she turns and does the chain 6, and on sc rows she goes right into the stitch
This is a simple but intricate pattern at the same time. Thank you for being so clear and concise with your instructions and video
What a lovely pattern! Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous!! I love this shape. I don't know why, but almond shaped patterns are my favorite
Is there a written pattern that we can refer back to? Beautiful work Thank you
Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us 😊
I love it thank you❤ I did a table runner with this pattern

This is so beautiful... I have nooo idea if I'm using the right yarn. But I will do this today I don't care lol 🤷🏾♀️😂❤️
🥰🥰 all the best 👍🏻🫰🏻
Lindo. Parabéns 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
I love these.. been trying now for days and my count is off every time. I can't do it. Is there a pattern maybe?
It is too simple of a pattern and too many of us coming here with same issue. Be nice to hear how to resolve by the couple who say they also had problem then it worked. Theres gotta be a reason???
Because she’s actually skipping 2 when she does the change 6
It's a really lovely pattern, thank you.
Glad to hear 🥰
I love tbis pattern, would have been good if whole pattern was shown
Can anyone tell me the color of the yarn she's using the beige one...love the color
Vry clear and nyc explanation thanks

Of course you can make a cardigan…
That's sooooo beautiful!
What's the name of the stitch, it's my first time to see this?
Thank you so much it's very beautiful.i already start to make it.❤💝👌
It’s my pleasure to hear that you like it 🥰
So beautiful, thank you for sharing. I'm starting in the crochet world and this tutorial us great.

Stunning pattern, thank you !❤
You’re welcome 🥰

(gotta admit the only difficulty i had was when you kept calling a single crochet "stitch" a "chain space") otherwise an Awesome tutorial!!!
Lovely video. I have noticed that you use the term 'chain space' when you mean 'stitch'.
My double trebles look too tall and not laying flat like yours. I’m using same size yarn and hook. Tried several times and tension is good.
It’s because you’re repeating the same exact row and not off setting your rows. I did that at first also.
It's beautiful but I don't know how to add another colour in this pattern since I am new to crochet
Très beau modèle, bien expliqué ❤
This time I’m gonna do it gonna do it for my desk I can’t give up! 😂
very nice...❤

Looks like a wave stitch, and a 4 weight cotton yarn.
How do you end the project? With single crochets?

A friend of mine liked d pattern so much she wants me to make for her. So kindly help.
Hi, im just wondering, what meter meterage of yarn was used?
64 chains gave me only 3 almond shapes but you got 4 almond shapes, idk how!
It’s multiple of 16+4. She says she has her chain of 64 then adds 4. So it’s a total of 68 chains
I tried this but always had an extra stitch at the end of the third row. I tried multiple times and counted the stitches and it doesn't work. Now I am sad 😢
The same keeps happening to me. I don't understand.
The stitch count doesn't seem to be correct
It worked perfectly for me. .. multiples of 16 + 4

Me too! I had the same problem. I got stitch markers because I thought I was doing it all wrong, but no help. Glad to see I'm not the only one.
