...Are you ready? The third installment is here, bringing new magic tricks and new friends. Let's have some fun with magic tricks and black devil magic notwithstanding some soul sucking and other ritualistic endeavors. 🙌 Quarantine magic tricks with friends - Instead of going out into the street and performing typical street magic with strangers' germ-ridden, disgusting, filthy hands... I simply invited a few friends over to my place and shared with them some classic magic tricks. This light stand is kinda not sturdy enough because the light and soft box are so large; the whole thing can tip over easily. But it's what I use! 😆 Or you can perhaps find another light stand that is rated to hold more weight. Or just put something heavy (like sandbags) onto the bottom to lower the center of gravity.

@@JasonParkerMagic word I lift also but I don’t get really big even with heavy weights and have to get fat to build muscle so it’s constant bulk/cut. And yea mate love the vids even tho I know nothing about magic haha the DK one was the coolest one I saw in terms of magic performance

Can I make a suggestion, I feel like if you filmed you magic tricks in a more open space it would feel better, like maybe in the living room where everyone is sitting or something. I feel like everyone standing beside each other in the kitchen is kind of a tight space.
Hmmm interesting feedback, thanks! I will consider this next time... although I guess I picked the kitchen because it was the only place we could be standing and have a surface for cards at the same time. I could do the living room (where I normally shoot my videos)... but we would all have to be seated. So could be a slightly different vibe.... 🧐

Soul sucking was good. Tear the paper and pocket the circle part and put remaining piece into cup. Read it while turning other side and pocket it. Rest of the story is distraction!

These are so great, but you need to work on your story telling. You should have pull a Rasputin angle for the soul sucking trick. Or, you can go completely humor sarcasm. Either approach is a story.

Haha yes... I actually made a checklist of all the things I had to turn on or set correctly for this video... 4 microphones... 2 cameras... 3 lights... and many other things.... and when I finished filming and looked at the footage I was like @#$#..... forgot to close the cupboard. 😆 Then I thought... probably no one will notice... I'm just paying too much attention to details.... :)

@@JasonParkerMagic I find over edited magic video's and over produced magic video's using camera magic boring. And not magic. This in my opinion is what has been wrong with magicians on Television since the 70's.

Was it just me, or Shawn Farquar was magically «summoned» for the last trick? I was expecting the routine to mention that the cards were in the deck, plastic sealed, but that was a nice touch too. Loving how this allows us to imagine how to perform our own routines in front of others, there’s a down to earth perspective that’s not often seen in productions and this makes it more relatable. Good stuff.

Very good definitely improving. I liked the coin matrix. I thought it was well done. Keep working on it and expanding the trick. Also the soul sucker was very good. I liked combining the circle on paper with soul sucking story. Only recommendations would be to work on doing the trick without turning your back and make the reveal of MT longer. Watch how other mentalist perform this trick. You got a good reaction but it could have been bigger. Card tricks were good also. Careful using turning around as a crutch. These tricks are harder but more effective doing them without turning your back. Overall very good and much improved in all aspects. Better story/banter, better effects, cleaner moves. Thanks for posting and keep improving. Just my opinion...👍

Yeah but I don't really have a nice area outside of the kitchen to film! It's the best area in my small flat where everyone could be standing up (which is better than sitting IMHO). Plus that's part of the RUclips thing I think. It's not a perfect, commercial production -- just people filming from home. BUT.... I dunno.... do you have any ideas? I think I could film at a table of a restaurant terrace POSSIBLY.... if other patrons at nearby tables weren't bothered about a filming set up. Indoors is usually impossible because of the background copyrighted music. See? It just gets complicated rather quickly.... plus needing a willing camera person if not using a tripod indoors..
