If the players of those example games understood what this video tries to explain, those games would have become much less frustrating for them. But, for example in the Yi game, neither the laners nor the jungler understood that.

      @@notlisztening9821 well technically in the clip Kayn has no way of really knowing where Katarina went, and if Azir had backed and returned to lane at the right time Katarina would still be pinned in lane and there would have been no reason for Daruis to rotate to the blue buff. Still not a reason to blame your team mates, and Kayn did try to run away as soon as he crossed the wall and saw the two enemies, as far as he knew Katarina could have gone to dive his bot lane or help with dragon which I think would be safer assumptions. but I also have never been in Diamond so idk if rotating to kill a jungler on their buff is normal at that elo cuz it isn't in silver XD

    For the Yi game, literally everyone was grieving, even if he kept his cool, the game is still likely lost the moment team fights start happening. It is arguably not worth it to extend so much effort to just bet for that 1% win probability. (from a semi casual perspective)

      Don't worry about the concepts in this video they're for more experienced players who have hit a plateau and already have an understanding of the basics.
      If you're genuinely very new and it's your first ranked season focus on trying to understand how minion waves work and when to play offense/defense and how to take good base timings. Laning should be 99% of your focus until you can play without thinking about it. Odds are in your starting rank laning is what matters the most anyways.

    With the given knowledge that Janna had at the moment, both lanes were pushed. So blue side could have 4 man on drake. ADC, SUP, JG and MID as bot and mid had prio cause the wave was pushed, enemy either slowpush and lose the drake, either give up on the wave and "play for objective" The turn point was when ekko jumped over the wall and just revealed that scutler was taken by the enemy team. THAT was the moment they lost prio, not the slow push, so it's the jungler fault that he decided to continue drake, the team followed him later
    EDIT: Write it before 8:30, I thought that was all about the drake, but yes, the moment scuttle gave Janna away the had to stop drake

    I think objectives are great for forced fights. At low elo if a team puts higher prio on objectives they usually win. When im on a team that just gives objectives we pretty much always lose. As a jungler im used to taking objectives solo but im risking their jungler interrupting me at low hp, winning the 1v1, and stealing the objective. But when I have even 1 teammates that cares about objs it makes a world of difference. Also the timing of objectives seems perfect for fights in between laning pushes

    The mistake players make is queuing lol.. We're essentially opting to play a game that will give us a random teammates, random roles, and if you try to leave you get penalized. The more you get penalized the harsher it gets. Would anyone watch Worlds if the players got random roles?
    The fact we lose the same LP as two teammates who are 1/8 and 0/10 by 12 minutes is insane.
    The fact we opt to play a role and don't get it but have to play anyways is insane. "it's fair because it happens to everyone" That's insane.
    Maybe implementing some form of group searching tool for 5v5 flex MIGHT offset the randomness of this, but that doesn't exist from what I understand?
    Watch a Gold/Plat player climb through bronze and silver. It is depressing despite technically being more skilled.
    It's not as painful when a diamond or higher climbs through but it's still noticeable.

    So, haven't played LoL in years (always solo queue because everybody I knew quit LoL way before me). Did Riot make chat not a thing anymore already?
    Because honestly, I can take losing a game because our team did badly. It's a game, it's supposed to be like that.
    What made me quit LoL was most of the games I was playing started to feel like they were decided 5-10 minutes in by which team started flaming each other first.
    I wasn't feeling good even when I won, because I could see the enemy team trolling, and that meant I would win regardless of whether I was playing well or not. At some point, I realized I wasn't having fun anymore because both winning and losing felt bad.

    • @rigogabi7778
      @rigogabi7778 12 дней назад +1

      No. Fiora has no Tiamat, the only way that 1 plate is worth the tempo loss is if she can clear the wave thats already under shens tower. Otherwise Shen will have time to push in the lane and will have prio for the river. If Fiora backed when the wave was crashing, she can arrive back before Shen can fully push in the wave. Shen has to decide then to finish the slow pushing wave with item disadvantage, or sack the wave and help river. Fiora can set up a freeze either way, coz he has item advantage and a broken a,ss champion, but no brain.

      @@killer30556makes no sense ganking lanes that are losing/getting pushed in in my opinion. Sometimes yes, it can happen that a weak enemy is pushing his lane but that is just straight up griefing. What happens MOST OF THE TIME is you have a guy that is hard losing, getting perma pushed in/proxied and asking for ganks because "he is pushing". You are literally flipping the play at that point, cause if enemy jungle comes, you will HARD LOSE in the 2v2 with for instance a shitty top laner. I, as a jungle main (granted i am only emerald) would much rather play towards a winning lane EVEN if they are pushing permanently. We can still dive. We can still invade their side of enemy jungle. We can still get free objectives on that side of the map. Actually diving a lane that has a 3 stacked wave going to enemy tower is one of the most GUARANTEED ganks you can do. So no, jungle should keep farming if all his lanes are losing and getting pushed in.

      idk if this is your problem but don't be afrain to ping your teammates if you notice they're doing something bad sometimes they won't listen to you and just die anyway but there are enough people who will see the ping and think 'oh yeah this is a bad idea' and back off, and even if only 1 or 2 teammates do that in every 10 games that could still increast your win rate enough to climb. Also when you Vod review don't just look at the calls you made, look at times your teammates died and ask yourself if there was anything at all you could have done to prevent them from doing that, idk what role you play but I'm a mid lane main and I've had several game where I have prio and am just not looking at my minimap to see my jungler fighting in river when I could easily go save their life and losing that first scuttle fight is really tilting especially for low elo junglers.

    While I agree that supports should roam when they aren't needed bot, the problem with low elo is that alot of adcs don't know how to farm without their hands being held. If you try to roam even with the wave in a good state for you to roam they spam ping, get tilted and then grief your game. So I personally stay in bot when I can see that I have an adc that doesn't know wave management or positioning because otherwise they uber feed then spam ping that it's all my fault and try to get the enemy to report me for griefing as well.

    • @Chrissi33004

I tried to improve my positioning and macro alot last year when I was playing daily alot but it feels bad to try to do that and get griefed for it, ie Zyra top taking jungle camps and abandoning lane because jungle couldn't gank with them shoving the wave the entire time.

    • @wchye9734
      @wchye9734 Месяц назад +1

      This is exactly why you are in low elo then. You need to just mute all and stick to a play you decide even if it makes your ad angry. Because if your play really was correct and roaming in X position and Y map state is correct your ad shouldn’t die to anything that’s obvious. Then you get more map pressure and impact. Like you are responsible for your own play so if you get tilted of pings either mute them or get good enough to where it doesn’t matter to you. Don’t get me wrong this happens even in masters but at the end you need to be making the “best plays” not just the safest or one that seems ok or good at the time

    • @premieress2623
      @premieress2623 Месяц назад

      @@wchye9734 you missed the point of my comment entirely. The adc does die to obvious things, they shove the wave under enemy turret when they are alone then die. I do mute all and when they spam ping I mute. I can put pressure in both solo lanes, help jungle taking top obj and any camps they go for up there and my adc will still full shove their wave and die, tilt off it and grief the game. What you have said I should be doing I have tried doing but I'm also rarely in straight solo games so it's very difficult to win games when your adc who is in a trio tilts and and gets their teammates to completely grief games. I've never said I play perfectly but I spent the better part of last year trying to get better at macro, positioning, etc and it sucks still trying to do what I know I should be doing and having teammates not understand that. Not to out myself but I fall into the description of the objective player (and I'm a support main ironically lol) but I don't do it for the reasons the narrator explained.
    I'll ping objectives as a reminder, yes, but it's only to bring attention to /something that will happen soon/. For me, it's not a "ping ping ping we need to be ready to do this" ping, it's a "this thing is happening soon in the game, prepare if it MAKES SENSE".
    I feel like it should be understood that pings DO NOT mean a forced action must occur and that seems to be the view in the point that was made in this video. I get pings from team mates all of the time and ignore them if they don't make sense. Why shouldn't I assume others view them the same way? If an obj makes sense, let's do it. If it doesn't, let's not.
    I definitely watch the objs so I can ward the area early so that we have an understanding of what's going on around it, that's my job but that by no means means we HAVE to do anything around it?

    hmm. so I've got advice about jg from this guy on their website. everything makes sense, but one thing. in the second trigger for the yi I instinctively back off since we got one of them as greed in this game is often a death sentence. I have turned many lanes around because many greed for the second one before misplaying. I heavily disagree with him saying any sensible player would go for the second kill instinctively. You got one dead take the win and move on. that being said dying for your team is in the job description for engage support. even without full hp he should have been the last to leave. if your team did somehow turn it in to a misplay kill with the supp dieing your team would be able to get more value out of it then lost. if I do take time to think of it I'm not really even worried about the shen ult. idk where the jg is and if i remember right its fiddlesticks which can cc all of them or if jinx had dash up or any of her cc. to much cc unaccounted for along with potential jinx ult. to many unknowns. considering its yi with prio it might just have been better to keep her pressured there while you hover at crugs. lot less risk and it does damage to the other jg. anyway. take the win. dont stay. the more chances you take the more chances you got to screw it up.

I am constantly finding myself with my main account in games plagued with alt account smurfs. A level 31 players with 80% Kill Participation and a 90% Win rate. Snowballing to gold at level 34, and plat by level 40. SIck of it. Riot has no answer to stop it. This game is overrun with alt account players that discourage true noobs from learning ranked play. As a Heroes of the Storm player that just started League a week ago, the best advice I can give for climbing ranks in Mobas is NOT to do the most optimal plays but to adapt on the mistakes your team is gonna make (macro-wise)
    It is crucial to pay extreme attention to what your team is doing early game so you can predict their behaviour and most importantly their mistakes so you can adapt and cook a new optimal plan based on the knowledge that your team is gonna make that said-macro mistake.
    As an example of that game with Master Yi, seeing he couldn't count on his team to apply map pressure, maybe I would focus more on farming naturals (or whatever it's called the monsters on his side)
    It would be by no-means the optimal play if everyone in his team was good at macro but since it seems people are not good at macro in his lobby, he should adapt and follow a new optimal plan.
    That's how I reached Master in HOTS and I think that's a solid advice for all Mobas.

I actually genuinely feel bad that you've been playing it this long only to move on to another bad moba game that only slowly kills you from the inside out. i played several games the last few days and i´m at a constant net negative LP balance because i constantly get teammates that go inting, going afk farming or simply go trolling. I had a game as full tank chogath and i had the best stats of my entire team while everyone was busy feeding the enemy carries.
    And yes i play at Iron. Must be easy to win right? Because everyone there is just bad right?
    Wrong. 80% of my lost games are because of my team mates feeding the ever living shit out of the enemy carries. It is impossible to win even with the best solo carry skills. You just cant win against carries with 10 or 20 kills on their balance.
    I tried for years now to get out of iron. Its impossible. Elo hell exists and i´m in the middle of it.

    actually, jungler should never solo first drakes. next ones neither unless you have proper champ for it or delay until sth like first item liandry. the correct answer is jungler should ping drake and as many ppl as possible should go help. if you don't help jglr should just give up on the drake. otherwise he loses time almost equivalent to a full clear, risks either getting outsmited or getting invaded on far side jungle, and loses jungle prio in general - less xp and gold than enemy jglr. so even if youre thresh and "don't do dps" you should answer the pings to mitigate junglers loss of prio if you want to have the fkin drake.

    No, my allies do NOT have the right to expect that I will execute on their ideas just because I'm in the area unless I actually communicate that I'm going to do so.
