I'm 27 and I've been a Spurs fan since I was 9. I had a Tim Duncan Wake Forester card and watched the Spurs play one night. I've been a die hard fan ever since. I've witnessed every championship, all the disappointments(Ray Allen's 3, losing to the 8th seed Grizzlies in 2011) Without Tim I wouldn't be into basketball like I am today. He's brought a lot joy into my life, I'm sad to see him leave the game. For me watching basketball will never be the same. Not even going to lie, I cried watching this.

Beautiful tribute, I saw Duncan play on TV, my first NBA game cause at the time I wasn't interested in basketball, it was Timmy and the Spurs and I was 17 years old, I'm now 35 and he is the whole reason I like basketball and why the Spurs is my team. I'm very sad to see him go but it has to happen eventually and at the same time it makes me and probably some of us realize that "oh shit we're getting old ourselves". Thanks to Tim Duncan for the awesome basketball that he played. Almost cried watching this tribute.

If we had 2 superteams competing for the nba title in their prime.
NBA elite stars of the 1970s vs 1980s.
The top 15 nba super men born in the 1970s would topple the top 15 nba superstars born in the 1980s.
    Dont you worry about that.
With Timmy Duncan being one of the leaders on your team you must feel very confident of winning.
    Love this great man.
    First ballot NBA HOF.
Thankyou and goodbye my dear friend.

Knowing the game of basketball as well as I do, being from San Antonio, watching Timmy play in real life many times, no one I seen play the game of basketball like Tim did. He was literally 3,4,5 steps ahead of everyone on the court, every game night, for 19 years straight.. it's hard to find words to describe his game.. Jordan and Duncan, in my opinion, are the two best basketball players in history. Both sides of the ball.. . watching this man play and understanding his play, he's a true genius of the sport.

More than the basketball achievements, more than the accolades and the awards, it was Tim Duncan’s approach to everything he did that made me look up to him. He epitomizes character, humility, professionalism, and excellence in everything he does.
