Looking at these in quick succession, i feel like there are definitely some seeds in there that should have been discarded. Idk how much influence they have to edit these chambers, but especially this malenia fight, but also the malekith/placidusax in the round before... thats not even fun to watch.
The idea and tournament are absolutely great and it's so fun to watch, but a few gates are just shit :
Why didn’t he use the claw mark seal for beastial incants? Lol
Because it has bad stats and you get the beast incants buff from claw when its equiped off-hand anyway so it's just better to use a better seal for casting
The more I watch 0hit league, the less I understand what is going on.
On the other hand, more VODs is more VODs, so 👍
I've watched every match both live and in VOD form and I still don't understand the rules. I'm not sure they do, either.
@@abyssalcrisis Here's what I understand. You get 2 points for having the most no-hit rounds, and you get 1 point for having the least hits total. (So, in this case, aggy got 2 points for having 5 hitless rounds, and cbd got 1 point for having the least hits).
Every round, you and your opponent start at the same time (unless there's a boss), and you have to kill 5 enemies or 1 boss before you can exit the area to the next round. Whoever finishes first puts their opponent on a timer (I think an extra minute?), and if they don't finish within that extra minute they get 'walk of shamed' (aka forced to move on to the next round), but the walk of shame penalty counts as 3 hits. So aggy was pissed because he just finished malenia but ran out of time so got extra hits added to his total.
Also, you have to keep going (even if you don't think you'll win or even finish the round), it's just a hard rule, even if it would be optimal for you to just stand there.
There are 8 rounds total, but I think it's based on total time (e.g. 30 minutes or something), so they usually don't get to all 8 rounds and it finishes early.
All in all it's an extremely convoluted ruleset lmao.
@@marinepower Pretty much right, but just to clarify the walk of shame timer is 3 minutes. If you get walk of shamed you also don't get given an omit to use next match. Omits are single gate debuffs basically, such as forcing a player to kill 10 enemies instead of 5, forced heavy load or being unable to use any consumables including flasks and torrent.
