To answer your question - The Office was the most popular show on NBC by that point so I think most people knew they weren’t really closing the Scranton branch
Ummm Actually, the top shows of NBC at this time were Sunday Night Football, Heroes, Law & Order SVU, and E.R.
The Office was a solid hit at this time. But even at the beginning of Season 3, "My Name is Earl" was a bigger comedy for NBC.
Theres something so absolutley hilarious about the fact in season one Roy makes weird sexual comments towards Angela and makes her feel uncomfortable but here its the other way around and Roys like yeah im uncomfrotable please dont call me capable 😂😢
