Not sure why anyone likes Philips Hue Sync Box seeing as the price is way too high to not come with strip lights for the TV is insane. Not to mention Philips Hue has serious lag and is not nearly as vibrant. GOVEE is the ONLY WAY TO GO!! I’ve owned the original Govee 4K AI Sync Box for 2 years now and have recently updated to the new Govee 8K AI Sync Box 2. Also not sure why you had issues with your Sonos on Govee because I have 2 Sonos home theater set ups with the Arc, Sub, and Era 300s and I have NEVER had any issues with audio. Nonetheless, GOVEE is by far superior to all the other options in every category no matter what your needs are… I can’t believe you would choose Philips over Govee… makes no sense.

@GeekStreet can you do a update for that topic when govee tell.you
Govee has come back to me stating both are supported but only support the bypass/pass-through, not decode.
Lytmi is the only one doing 98inch
Hi I use Yamaha avr all my inputs go into that then one hdmi out to tv so that hdmi lead would go into sync box then to tv yes ? I use older goovee camera system which is ok but not great so was going to switch to fancy leds as the black areas are still lit up on the goovee thoughts please
Yes that right and your could save money and just get the 1 port hdmi 2.1 sync box they have
Just know fancyleds support ARC but not eARC
Yes really weird, the issue was intermittent not quite sure what the issue was, someone else mentioned the v1 never worked with the sonos arc for them so a weird one
@@GeekStreet that’s wild, I’ve never run into any issues with my Sonos not working with Govee. Hopefully some software updates will correct that for those this happens to!
@@DevinsSwag did Dolby Atmos work perfectly with the arc when plugged into the hover box?
@@frenchfly9843 not sure what a hover box is unless you meant Govee Sync Box. The Sonos Arc plugs to the tv directly with an HDMI (e-arc) port. You should not be plugging the Arc into any sync box because that’s not how it works.
@@DevinsSwag oh haha stupid autocorrect I meant Govee. Ah ok thanks I wasn’t sure if the arc had to plug into the syncbox or not.
Why would like to have blackout LEDS when Xbox setting page is Grey color? Strange., in my opinion it's Fancy has pick it wrong 🤔
It's a dark grey, the others just looked a bit weird when bright
@@GeekStreet You're right but still some should be passed through. I guess you adjust it in settings?
I just had saturation on high, there isn't much else to change.
The Samsung hue app is The Best. I can The see all The content i want with lights
Hopefully one day LG will have it too!
Alright soo i want my bulb lights integrated aswell for the future as those are the next upgrade. So in this case i only have Govee and Hue as an option am i right? Even though i don't like that it won't black out in the dark spots tbf 😭
You might want to ask fancyleds as it's a Tuya based product you might be able to add in any tuya light bulb
Hey so off topic but your headphone wheel video controller method doesn’t work when I have them both on I can’t do anything on forza horizon 5 plz update that video plz thanks
@emsam872 my bad pull the batteries out of the controller and connect the controller via a cable and that will work
@@GeekStreet thank you very much
@@GeekStreet then the controller doesn’t turn on
@@GeekStreet and I tried a different controller and it still doesn’t work but thank you for your help
I really hoped the govee sync box 2 was going to be available from 55 inch in the uk. I have the samsung Odyssey Ark 2 with a high-end pc, so I really need a sync box that can handle 4k at 144hz at least. I messaged govee and got a generic answer so not got much hope. Do you know any different? I can not find any sync box with this performance.
The gaming one and desk one are literally identical
@@GeekStreet Do you have a link?! I cannot find one for a 55 inch version available in the UK? The link in your description is for the US and it won't let me use the UK for a delivery address.
I think Govee are try to still sorting out stock levels in the UK, the link will be available soon
BEST SYNC BOX
🤩
I messaged fancy leds and they said it can do 4k 144hz on pc. can you check? I prefer the color of fancy leds and the dark zones too
Interesting, let me double check and get back to you
Its here!
BEST SYNC BOX🎉🎉
🤩
Love RUclips bidos’❤
Thomas is that you 🤔
@@GeekStreet yes
‼️FANCYLEDS‼️I've had FancyLeds for 2 years and have been sent 3 sync boxes as they have a major issue with connecting to WiFi.
Within a few months It just disconnects itself consistently and flips the leds with the tv, which shows one side of lights for the other.
Wouldn't recommend.
I had mine installed for quite a while and never had an issue like that, is your wifi router near by?
@GeekStreet my router is about a metre away. I've tried everything, even renaming my WiFi to create a dual signal, plus I've had a new router in-between. They send me a new sync box and after a few month it happens again. The only difference is that it's the older model.
You've done a great job on the video tho mate. No discredit to you
@RAWSONJM thanks, that's a weird issue as a test try disabling 5GHz wifi temporarily just to see if that helps.
@GeekStreet done it. Doesn't work. Trust me, I've tried everything. It connects, and I set up side, and 10 seconds later they flip and it's disconnected. It's just a bad product.
Its between govee or fancy :/ as a gamer
Which one wins for you?
@@GeekStreet I wanted govee but fancy seriously looks so immersive it truly looks like its extending the content not just colors I think you said govee was better using hdr though and I have oled hdr
I love your light placement, can you give us a breakdown on how you placed everything and what products you have? 🙏🏽
@@sBaby-ee7qe stay tuned room tour coming very soon 🫡
I've got the fancy LEDs one and got problems I have to turn it on off every time I change from bluray to ps5 to Xbox as I get a blank screen on my lgc2 it could be a problem with my marantz cinema 70 av reciver but something to keep in mind
Oh, have you tried without the amp?
Nah £2000 worth of Dolby Atmos is more preferable than fancy LEDs working I just put the lights on a Alexa smart plug and tell her to turn it off and on every time I switch an input not ideal but no other way round it @@GeekStreet
@robertwatson2305 I get it, but would be interesting to test and maybe let FancyLEDs know as they may try to fix it.
@@GeekStreet I did let them know
They said the same thing unplug the amp
, but even if it works there not going to update the firmware for my amp
And the nest of wires behind there is an absolute nightmare, just letting people know it could be an issue if you use an amp , obviously all my external stuff goes into amp then sync box then TV i only use one of the 3 hdmi's of the sync box
To be honest if anybody is seriously using their smart TV as a TV and not getting a fire stick or a Google thing or an Apple TV you all need to get a life or go get help things could be better in your life
How, if the smart tv have the apps already just have to sign in
@@michaelllfrom_LA its slower
