- Ustadh Nouman delivers a khutbah in Maryland, USA. He highlights the active role of shukr (gratitude) as taught in the Quran and shares how Prophets Dawud (AS) and Suleiman (AS) used their blessings to benefit their communities, turning gratitude into meaningful actions. Ustadh Nouman encourages Muslims to see shukr as a way to empower themselves and others, using their resources and talents for the good of society.

Im at the dentist's office listening to Ustadh 😂😂 y'know what i love about him is that he's not just Islamic teacher but he's good at understanding the business world and bringing islamic knowledge in that aspect. I've seen so many people complaining about living in the west and wanting to move back because its "unislamic" when i know people from their home countries would love to live in the west. Islam is universal and we can survive anywhere with good advice from quran.
He has a high degree in business, marketing if I remember correctly.

He can touch real-life problem and give us solution through the words of Allah (Qur'an)... may Allah reward him and His amazing team (in one of his interview, he admit he has special team to learning specified area that he himself cant cover).😊
Thank you❤ may Allah bless you with Jannah ❤
What a beautiful comment may Allah make everyone understands it.
Im a chemical engineering grad. Used to work at oil n gas industry for 8 yrs. Now im a full time homemaker raising my 7 year old son. With all the education bckground and work experience i had, im using tht to nurture my son, teaching him things that nobody taught when i was young.
I pray to Allah empower us with knowledge and resources that we can use to benefit others especially the younger generation insyaAllah.
Lets do syukur together.

Such a coincidence! As a single mom of two teens I was actually thinking the same thing in the last few days. I was feeling so hopeless, thinking about how to bring about change for our ummah in a short time. And then Alhamdulillah I found hope and energy again thinking my goal for now is to invest my time, energy and resources in the upbringing of my children.
May Allah swt guide us upon the right path and bless us with wisdom and strength to be the best parents possible. And may every next generation consist of even better and stronger muslims than the previous one. Ameen.
This man has got something that I cannot explain in words .......lots of respect for the brother❤
❤❤❤
He is blessed with public speaking. Barak Allahu feekum
MASHA ALLAH TABARAKALLAH🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲.
HE IS THE STUDENT OF DR.SAMI & DR.SAMI WAS THE STUDENT OF DR.ISRAR AHMAD 👍⭐⭐⭐
I wish every Muslim would understand the point you're making! so profound.
Ustaad has made a good move by entering into a different dimension. The dimension of taking our minds to gym, build ourselves and understand true value of being a Muslim. Jazak Allah Ustaad 🙂😇
May Allah grant enormous health, wisdom, and Rahmah to Ustad so that he can keep teaching us the right teachings ❤️
SubhanAllah mind blowing. One of the best khutbahs i have ever heard! Be active Muslims! DO SHUKR! Use our professionalism to the best of our capabilities! May Allah reward Ustadh NAK immensely for his sharing of knowledge and clarity of speech that moves hearts. Ameen.
May Allah guide us to the right path
آمین یارب العالمین
Allhuma Amiin🙏🤲
I have recently added in my phone a new list of things I have to do.
One of things is Shukr Contemplation of 5 minutes.
Plan is to sit alone silently (or say Alhamdulillah silently) and be grateful to Allah by counting some of his blessings. The main way to Shukr is using his blessings in a pleasing way but I think this can also help.
Alhamdulilah Allah has guided me to the same topic this week.
Not yet watched the video
I am 28 years old and Just 2 months back I have launched a small business for my self. I am also doing a job which is extremly hard.
This lecture gave me more hope and confidence ❤
Alhamdulilah.
And please pray for me.
In sha Allah I will always try my best to be an active part of Muslim soceity.
👍
May Allah assist you in your efforts and grant you success in this life and the hereafter Allahumma Ameen 🤲❤️
We can’t change the world but we guarantee to spark the brain or mentality that will !💯
Nobody can explain like you.
The way of explanation was amazing
Love from srilanka ...❤❤❤❤
When i keep my home tidy and clean using the tools that make it so easy(vac-mop, dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer) i see this as showing shukr. On the other end, if i am being neglectful, aside from being sick or injured, i feel its an act of ungratefulness. Self care i think is showing shukr, as well as caring for thise placed in my gaurdianship. Ao many ways anyone can show shukr no matter how much or how 'little' we have materially.
a really beautiful khutbah
Much needed khutba for SouthEast Asian Muslim especially.
Ulema of Southeast Asia also listen to this.
Mashallah tabarakallah such a good lecture
Thank you so much for this Khutba, I have members in my family who tells me that I am planning too far, as if I am gonna live forever in this world, they would say you should live like a traveller. I have been having conflicting thoughts about my own faith, thinking may be I do not have enough Iman, enough Tawaqul. Your lecture clarified my dilemma.
I love and respect you for Allah.
From Dhaka, Bangladesh.
....duas for whole team, busy mum, im learning at home during housework ❤❤❤❤
Busy Mum! May Allah bless you!
This khutba gives you an idea on what to instill in your children besides the literal practice of our deen: hard work and perseverance for oneself and for the Ummah, on the long run, in order to “do shokr”.
From Pakistan. Ma sha ALLAH amazing explanation. May ALLAH grant Muslims the wisdom to grasp the essence of the quran and put its teaching to practice
Amin Allah
Wallahi ustadh you gave such a mindset I've been looking for my whole life ❤️
Alhamdulilah. Just starting up again. I feel empowered.
"Prospering your neighbours is the best policy
Some ppl get married and have children after 40 so some of this lecture is very assumptive, I think it speaks about mental maturity rather than marriage/children
Yup you're correct. He mentioned marriage because generally Muslims tend to get married before their 40's as it's included as a part of ibadah (living in accordance to Allah's Will).
And even if not married according to their personal opinion, at the age of 40 one eventually has the feeling of most of his worries (not all of them) settled down. Generally most of the people (not all of them, again) have a job, a house/any place to live, better health, mature mind and much more :)
mashaAllah it was a really good khutuba, something i really wanna add onto again, is no matter where we are, in whatever condition we are, sabr and shukr are necessary in order to help us grow and survive. Let our Prophet Muhammad SAW be an example, how he had to go through so many trails yet did he once said ya allah why me? he accepted all of those trails and hardships as mean of his lords love for him, so why cant we? this dunya is nothing but a beauiful lie, one day youre gonna be in the grave , no spouse, no money, no friend, no father, no mother , no teacher, no sibling, will be there with you? so why attach ourselves so much to this dunya, when its just meant to break us apart? yea one should invest, but not exceed a limit, where you love one more than allah, for Allah is oft forgiving, most merciful, he has the highest authority over all beings, we are his slaves, his favourite of creations, we have the choice to do good or bad, the angels and the satan both are giving us their positive and negative influences, respectively, with the angels being the source of good and satan as the source of all evil, the thing is we need to repent and learn why we are here and just be on the straight path. FOR OUR LORD HE LOVES US THE MOST , and my mercy extend over all things. TRUST HIM he will open doors for you and he will make it easy for you, after hardships comes ease, thankyou for reading in allah huma barik
That was such a strength booster. May ALLAH reward you with خيرً كثيرا for explaining and clarifying these topics. Ameen
Most Inspiring and Motivational video on Internet ♥
My sister always used to ask me ,just be on religion but not like that, this Dunia is temporary and u have just to do ibadat 😂, now if she listens to sir Nouman doing tafseer of Quran specific part where Allah is addressing hazrat Dawood to do big things in Dunia , literally she will be surprised 😅, bcz our Deen don't ask us to be in a cocon till death, sir u explained it in a wholesome way. Jazakallah
Masha'ALLAH 🤍
May ALLAH bless him and his team . Amen
I just turn 40 and if this kutbah is perfectly for me. I can fully relate to everything Imam is saying here. Sukran

One of the best lessons. Jazak Allah Khair.
May God bless you and everyone listening
Everything he said is true. I am never satisfy with what I do and I take every opportunity to improve what I do because I know that it is Allah who inspire me. All I can say is
Alhamdulillah. Saying that is also a favour from Him.
Fajr Prayer,
Be unknown standing stranger on a strange land, listen to what ayat is being recited with rhythms & Tafseer.
How beautiful it is that as same as Brother Noman ali khan explains on behalf.
Indeed, Quran tells us the ayats & Tafseer, if you are truthful.
Allah knows best.
- [00:00] 🙏 Gratitude encompasses more than passive acknowledgment; it involves active engagement and productivity, as emphasized in the Quran.
- [10:20] 🛠 Gratitude, as per the Quran, isn't just about verbal thanks but also entails action and productivity, contributing positively to society and beyond.
- [22:15] 🌱 Building a mentality of empowerment through gratitude involves using resources and opportunities to their fullest potential for collective benefit.
- [37:00] 🌍 The Muslim community needs a shift in mindset to move from a position of weakness to one of strength, socially, economically, and spiritually.
- [52:30] 🌱 Investing in youth, nurturing them, and providing them with vision and opportunities is a crucial expression of gratitude, ensuring the growth and empowerment of future generations.
U r absolutely right that's why our screaming voice is not reaching
Better than 1000 khutbas of the neosalafis
Neo…what?
Chill...
With gratitude comes peace
Amazing khutbah. What a fresh perspective. May Allah guide us to the right path ameen.
MashaAllah and alhamdulilah we all try to do the most with our ability & sources ❤
SUBHANALLAH. Sir you always motivate me to do my work more effectively...to do a PhD. in Islamic Psychology.
I’m wondering why we are fed poverty mentality while God made some of his Prophets (peace be upon them) kings. Why we are trained to be at the mercy of non-believers for our sustenance. May God reward Ustad Nauman for his service to the book of God. My love of Book of God started from Dr Israr and continues with teachers like him. May Allah reward them all!
This is the inspiring msg I've heard taught in over a decade. Thank you for sharing peace and blessings to this teacher and may the grace and mercy of Allah align our actions with with the peace and unity that His Word brings to our hearts and minds. Ameen 😊
Ustad you always make us discover the side of islam which we have seen before. Thank you very much.May Allah SWT bless you ❤

Very great lecture. Need to hear more lectures from u … … I m also turning 40 😮and should be grateful for that .. I realized their in no such thing staying happy or happiness … we just struggling all our life to stay happy … but we could not … because that is not reality .. Important thing is how much our heart is content and have gratitude… after studying too much about positive psychology I came to conclusion… if there no gratitude we can not stay positive or happy … that y I realized why it is mentioned a lot in Quran .
Please, I recommend adding the duas mentioned in the lecture in the caption with translation. Makes thing easier for listeners inshallah.

You are indeed Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
